Tangy was thinking of going to see Leo, it's been a two weeks since the entire stone issue happened. Blair had locked herself up in her room, and have refused to come out, she only comes out, whenever she wants to take her breakfast or attend to the king.
The king have been showing her more care and attention since the drama, while Mogana have been hiding herself, she hardly even come out of her room for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the maids would always take it to her.
It has also now become a routine for Arthur to kneel before the Stony Marinara, and murmur words of sadness, before he goes about his everyday business.
She was still thinking of the best time to sneak out and no one would notice her, when she heard a knock on her door.
At first, she was shocked that someone could knock on her door, at such a time. It wasn't time for lunch, as they just had breakfast, but with all the moodiness in the palace, she could be summons, so she got up, and went to the door, thinking there was a message for her, but to her surprise, it was Astra, standing by her door.
"May I come in?
"Sure". She moved aside, to let her through, even though she wasn't very comfortable having Astra in her room, she still let her in, after all, the both of them are in the same shoe of not been loved. Her case might even be seen as better than that of Astra, for Jayden have at least, shown her love, and have respected her in front of her people, but for Astra, he clearly doesn't like her.
So what can I do for you? She asked, pulling the seat out for Astra, while she went back to her bed.
"Why are you always indoors? Don't you think you are hurting yourself too much? and before you know it, you might start gaining weight unnecessarily".
"And when did you start caring? Tangy asked her, wondering just where she was going with her tale. She didn't possibly come all the way to her room to tell her to try and come out some more, as staying indoors can make her grow fat and loose shape.
"I care, at least for you. Blair is gaining all the attention. At first, it was the attention of Jayden, and even Marinara somehow, and now that the both are no longer here, she is still able to get the attention of Arthur more than all of us, don't you think that cause for worry? She asked, as she got comfortable on her seat.
"Well, that is her problem, I don't care, if she likes she should gain the attention of the pack, I will still have my turn to laugh, like I did during the Star gathering".
Astra paused and laughed hysterically.
"And you think that was your turn, or a turn that she made happen.
She was the one that ordered Jayden to be with you, she wanted the pack to think that Jayden is equally showing us all love, while at night, she will be the one to grace his bed.
Do you think, that there could ever be a time, when Jayden will look at you, and want you? She asked.
Tangy didn't like thinking about that, but she knows that Astra is right. She is also right about now. The way Arthur demands for her, is worrisome. He never demands for any of them. She that is supposed to be closest to him now, is not even getting his attention.
Arthur is always calling on her, they do things together, she accompany him to meetings and all. He is trying to make I feel less lonely, and do you know why? (She asked, but Tangy didn't answer, neither did she signal, so she Continues) I will tell you why. It is because, Jayden have told him to protect her, and keep her safe, while the rest of us could be turned to stone , he doesn't care.
When he was about to leave for the mountain cave, he didn't even think of telling us, but he still made out time to see her, tell her, kiss her, and even made love to her, and here we are, it even a goodbye hug, not even a take care plea, just nothing.
We are really just a tool in his eyes, he doesn't care about us, and it is time we stop caring too, and take our destiny by the neck". Tangy sighs, acknowledging that what she just said, held a hard truth, and too hard for her to chew, but maybe it is time for her to actually come to terms with it. They are really just tools in his eyes.
"So what are you proposing? She asked her, even though she never thought that she would ask her such a question.
"You are always trying to play nice, to someone who isn't nice, I think it is time we both show her that we are not nice. Let us eliminate her before Jayden returns". She didn't see that coming, she was shocked, she covered her mouth with her hand and shook her head.
"I cannot eliminate her, she hasn't done anything wrong". Tangy answered.
"That means you are willing to spend the rest of your life, as a second fiddle. I actually just want to help you achieve your goal, if you love Jayden, I want to help you get a stand with him". Tangy became even more confused.
"What do you mean? She asked, wanting to hear more.
"I am only sticking around here, for him to return, then I can tell him that I am no longer interested, and I will damn the gods and goddesses, and then I will go for whom my heart, truely wants. I don't love him, just as much as he doesn't love me, but I see that he has a little likeness for you, and that is why, I was willing to help, but since you don't need my help, you can stay and keep suffering". She made to leave, knowing she have hit her where it matters most.
"Wait! She heard Tangy say, and she stopped herself from turning the door knob.
"What is it?
"What plans do you have? Tangy asked.
Astra walked back and took her seat.
"Now that Jayden is not around, this is your time to get what you really want.
She is just a human, so killing her would be very easy, we just make it look like Barthur or one of his men did it. She will be buried, before Jayden returns. Jayden will only mourn her for a while, after which he will be all yours, while I leave to meet my love".
It was still hard to believe, but Tangy was already dreaming of having Jayden all to herself, even though she still feels something for Leo. But Leo, was a no go area, especially since Medline is involved, she really doesn't want to have anything to do with her.
"What do you stand to gain in all of this Astra? She asked.
"The humans polluted the relationship the witches had with the werewolves. The humans are the reason, we have more single werewolves and even single witches, because before now, we were getting involved with each other and producing powerful offspring. The humans are the reason, my Queen Mogana is treated like a slave, when she could have been happy with the man she loves and who loves her, so the humans are our problems, and they should be eradicated.
