She stared at the person in the tomb that looked so alive, and she almost forgot that she is not supposed to be looking at her that way, for she her guilt might just give her away.
"I see you are surprised too, for someone who have been dead, for almost a month now, and she is still looking like this, then something is happening". The Queen says.
"Maybe she is not dead? Tangy asked fearfully.
"No dear, she is dead, but because she has the blood of Jayden, I don't think she is ever going to age, or smell, even if she is buried, and I suspect that when Jayden comes back and find her like this, he may never leave this room". Sodom replied. Gradually the rain started to subside, and Sodom headed for his home, he knows that there will be a great celebration when Jayden finally returns, home, but will it be a moment to celebrate for himself?
He would beat himself up so much, that the one person he had loved, was dead.
"Tangy, what really happened to her? The Queen asked her, and she got caught in her own voice, she stammered, and couldn't make the right words, she just kept looking at her.
"I really don't know Queen mother, she said she was feeling hot, I thought she was going to take a bath, but she ended up at the river, half naked, and dead".
"I think this has to do with Barthur, I think it is time we attack Barthur and his kingdom. This calmness have been gone for way too long, we cannot keep quiet anymore". She says, as the king pulls her close and kissed her forehead.
"When I saw you turn to stone, it took a huge part of me away, but now that you are back, I will never allow anything bad happen to you again, I don't ever want to loose you again, so I am going to fight Barthur, with all my strength.
Tangy left, she shouldn't be there watching them, as soon as she was gone, the king went on his knees.
"I am sorry Mari, I need to tell you something, and if I don't tell you now, I may never be able to tell you again". She went on her knees too, wanting to be almost on the same level with him.
"Today is a great day, and I am so happy to be back, I don't want to hear anything". She says to him, but he shook his head in disagreement.
"You have to hear me out, because it was my silence, that made her threaten me, and now, I can't just send her away, I need to tell you".
"If you are talking about Mogana, I really don't want to hear about her. I can understand if you still feel something for her, but I just cannot have you spoil my home coming with a tale that has to do with her". She argued and us about to get up, when Arthur shut her up with his lips.
"I love you Mari, but I still need to tell you. When I travelled to submarine to get Jayden, Mogana used a charm on me, so that I could, I could ( He started to stammer, it was so hard for him to say it)
"You could what?
She asked him, wondering why he was stammering all of a sudden.
"So that I could have sex with her". He spilt it out in a hurry, scared that he might take it back.
As expected, she got up from her kneeling position, and walked towards the door, then she turned back, he was still kneeling down.
"You did what? She asked him, surprised, that such a thing really did happen. She remembers that, when he came back, and he kissed her, she saw it in her vision, but it suddenly cleared off, and she had thought that, it must be her, overthinking that something like that happened, when it really didn't happen, but with his confession now, she could see that it really did happen.
"She charmed me". He defended.
"And that is supposed to make me feel better? You, Arthur are still the most powerful, how is it possible that a charm could work on you? She asked, with her voice raised, as she broke down into tears. Arthur had to get up from his kneeling position too, to meet her.
"The charm was able to work, because, when she kissed me, I kissed her back, and the charm was on her lips".
"Oh no! She placed her hands on her head, and went back to the ground.
"Please forgive me. When you said she should leave, she threatened to tell you, I was scared, o didn't want you to get angry, so I allowed her stay, but almost loosing you have showed me how in grief I would be for the rest of my life, if I allow Mogana stay in this palace, and that is why I am telling you myself.
Marinara was so angry, she shook her head and got up the floor again.
"Your confession means nothing to me. I hate you, and you disgust me. The both of you are good together, you are free to go back to her ". She says and walked out.
Arthur stayed back in the room with the body of Blair. He had known that was how it will end, she will get angry, but somehow, deep within him, he was relieved that he had told her, what was left was to wait for the rain to go down, then he can send Mogana away. If possible, Astra should go with her. Maybe it is time to actually do what's right. Jayden never liked any of them, he loves only Blair, but now that Blair is dead, he could be with Tangy peacefully.
He sat down on the floor, waiting for the rain to stop, before he will go and send Mogana to leave, but the rain didn't see.like stopping, it continued, till later in the evening, when it started to die down a bit. He said a little prayer to the moon goddess, not for help in sending Mogana away, but for the goddess to touch Marinara's mind, so that she forgives him.
As long as Mogana will be gone, he knows that Marinara would forgive him, but first, he needed to do what was right, for his household, and his kingdom.
