Jayden didn't find it easy coming back, he had too many blocks on the road that he needed to overcome, one would have thought that he was going to be able to transport himself from the mountain cave straight down to the Demini palace, but it didn't work that way. He was confronted by his uncle, when he crossed the first river, which will bring him closer to his kingdom.
He almost forgot at that point that his father had a twin, and would have just ran into his arms, but he knew that, he wouldn't find him at such a place. When he saw his face clearly, with his mean look, he recognized him at once, but he wasn't alone, he was with Shadon, the evil sorcerer that he had heard about. He didn't need him to introduce himself, just looking at him, could already tell him that he is that person, that the entire pack loath, for evil was written all over him.
They were standing Infront of Jayden, but he didn't plan to stop, he couldn't shake the feeling that Blair was missing him too much, for he just could not see her face again, even in his visions.
"Stay away, I don't want to see your ugly faces now! He says, which greatly annoyed Shadon.
"Are you rushing home to see your human? Jayden paused to hear what he had to say about Blair, for already, he had been very worried about her.
Don't bother rushing home, for you will meet a dead Blair fire Jayden". He added, and that infuriated Jayden that he attacked him immediately.
Barthur also shape change, but Jayden fought like a skilled werewolf, he attacked him with his Claw and paws and hit him hard on the head, giving him a head injury.
"You are too weak, how were you able to defeat my father? He screams, as he jumped on Barthur, who was already on the floor, he made to jump on him again, this time, with the plan to crush him, but he was fast to dodge it, which hurt Jayden's paws, because of the force, with which he attacked with. He didn't waste time nursing his wounded paws, he rushed at him and attacked him with the same force, then he heard Barthur scream at Shadon.
"Don't just stand there, use the venom on him". Jayden didn't know what they plan to use, so he tried to use his wizard power to transport somewhere else, but it wasn't working at the time, but since he already knew they have plans to use something on him, he kept dodging.
He saw what Shadon was holding, and for then to believe so much in it, he is sure, that thing is meant to hurt him, so he concentrated all his strength on the substance, instead of trying to transport, he blew it off Shadon's hand, just by looking at it intently, there by giving Barthur a chance to get a hit at him, but never removing his gaze from what Shadon held with so much Joy.
When the substance fell off his hand, it poured on the floor, and poured, spreading like wild fire, and Jayden took the chance to hit Shadon, who was shocked at how the substance was able to leave his hand.
Shadon fell on the ground, on the substance actually, and started burning up.
He screamed in pain. When Jayden saw just how active it worked, he turned to Barthur, but he was able to transport immediately, there was no way, he would allow Jayden defeat him just yet.
Jayden took out his weapon, by the side of his cloak, and stabbed Shadon, who turned into dark flames immediately, and disappeared.
He doesn't know if he is dead, even If he were to be alive, he would be badly hurt, but if he is a supernatural, he will heal on its own, unless if the venom, that he had been trying to use on him, was an everlasting means of hurting him.
Jayden looked around him to see if there was anything he missed out on, and when he saw that there was nothing, he wanted to continue slowly, since his ability to transport was not working, but then, he remembers that Shadon had said something, and that was what have angered him. He suddenly felt blank, as he tries to remember what he had said, but he could not remember it, just like that of Blair, he could not see her, but as soon as he thought of Blair, he was immediately reminded of what he had heard earlier.
"Oh no! Did he say I was going back to meet a dead Blair, is that why, I have not been able to connect with her, I have not been able to see her face? He started running, but then, he stopped again, and tried his transporting power.
Sodom had told him that, as soon as he was able to free the spirits, he would be able to transport, or was it the effect of the evil spirits that he had freed. He remembered Hurricane, he would have known what to do to help him, but he too had gone back to his kingdom.
Apparently, he wasn't just a lost pet, he only changed into a per, looking for who will be able to save him.
He had been like that for years, his case was different, just like the python had said, he had great power, that his spirit could not be locked up, so instead of it being locked up, it took the shape of a puppy, who refused any one getting at him, and he only stay at places, where natural disaster takes place, when he saw Jayden, he recognized him at once, as a powerful being too.
He had gone back to his kingdom and now Jayden was alone.
He was hoping to get a pet for Blair, but if she is dead? He thought, then he shook his head against it.
"No, she can't be dead. Father won't let it, Sodom won't let it, he promised me, they won't let her just die? The entire kingdom is supposed to protect her, I left her to save them, they should save her.
What if Shadon attacked her, when no one was around?
What if it was when she went out riding or something? But will she even go riding without him or a guard? He had too many questions as he hastened his steps, he got to a meadow, which means he is still a long mile away from his kingdom, he bent down and tried his transporting power for the last time. All he was thinking was a village, that was the closest to his, that should just be a little work to his kingdom, and that final thought worked, he was able to get to River island instead, where he grew up. When he saw how close to his kingdom, he is, he felt happy, but then, the visions became clearer.
He could see her face, but she was not smiling, she had her eyes closed, and though she still looks as beautiful as if she is just sleeping, Jayden fears that Shadon might be right.
He swore to himself that even if Shadon was dead, he would look for him, and trap his soul, where no one would ever be able to bring him back to life, ever again.
