The confidence, she had been using to look at them, was not the confidence, she used in saying it, she bowed her head, like a slave, before she said it.
Queen Marinara, slapped her immediately.
"Shut your mouth and stop spouting nonsense. How can you call someone's name, bases on what you think? She asked.
Astra held her cheek, but still did not look up.
"I am sorry, but he asked me for my thought and I just gave him my thoughts ". She responded, while Jayden, he didn't want to even think about it, he kind of like Tangy, it will break his heart, if she was able to nurse such an evil, against Blair.
"Get me Tangy! He commanded. This time, Queen Marinara, was the one that offered to go and get her.
She too didn't want to believe it, she held her heart tight, guarding it from breaking into shreds. The moment of truth is always like that. A window period, where on fears for what is about to come.
She opened the door, without knocking, and Tangy jerked.
"Good day my Queen".
"Didn't you hear that Jayden is back? Why are you here? She asked, trying to see if she too could find the truth from her, before she goes there.
"The king ordered us all to go back to our rooms, and never to come out, till she asks us to, so I obeyed". She still looks innocent to her. She doesn't know if she should go ahead and ask her, but she changed her mind about it, she just nodded and said.
"Jayden wants to see you". The spark in her, that seem to have been dead, arose. as if he was seeing her for the first time.
He is at Blair's tomb room". She added. As soon as she heard that, her looks changed, guilt flushed her like a stream would wash off the surface of the surrounding shore.
"Why do you have such look? She asked her again.
"Nothing, I am on my way". She says, as she got inti her slipon. Surprisingly, the Queen held out the door for her, and kept watching her, till she stepped out of her room.
She followed Tangy behind, hoping that it would all be a misunderstanding, or some kind of big lie from Astra.
She could lie, after all, she is the princess from the witches coven.
Tangy opened the door, and that was when Astra looked up.
"Welcome home my king". She greeted, as she bowed her head down, and wanted to go on her knees to greet him, when Jayden stopped her half way, she had to go back up, and stood appropriately.
It was difficult even for Jayden to Question her, but he just had to do it. He had promised himself that even if it were his mother, that had slayed Blair, out of annoyance for humans, then he will slay her, even if she is the one that gave birth to him, but now, if after everything, it turns out that, of a truth, Tangy is the one that had slayed Blair, he is yet to think of what he will do to her.
"Tangy, look at me in the eye, and tell me you didn't kill Blair? That was not how he asked Astra, which only angered Astra the more, she winced in anger, staring at Jayden like he just offended. Why was he asking her, like she lied against her.
Tangy didn't think that was the reason she was summoned, it shocked her, as she looked up at him, and then at Astra. She stammered.
"I... I. didn't". She was expecting Astra who had helped her eliminate her, say something to help her out, but it was the same Astra that raised her voice.
"Lier! You killed Blair with a poison, and I am sure you out the poison in the blue cocktail you gave to her to drink. You wanted to kill me too, in my dream, but I was too powerful for you.
You wanted to be the Luna, you wanted to be the only one with Jayden, and that was why you did it, why are you lying? She asked her, and every where went dead.
Jayden was waiting for her to defend herself, he was hoping she would speak up for herself, but she only stammered the more.
"Astra, but you said you didn't want Jayden, why then are you saying this?
"I said, if he didn't love me, then I might just leave, but is that the reason you should kill Blair, whom he loves? And here, all the pack think that the witches are the bad ones. My Queen was shamefully sent away, when she only showed she loved someone with just charm, but a werewoman was able to kill". Tangy was about to say who gave her the poison, when Jayden held her by the neck.
"Tangy, you really killed Blair? He asked with a broken voice. Tangy looked into his sad eye and wish she could deny it, but she had been caught. She had been betrayed, by the same person, that gave her the poison to kill Blair.
She told her that she wasn't interested in him, and she made her believe she had a chance with him, but unknown to her, she never wanted to leave, she had planned it all from the beginning, she knew what she was doing, and she had planned it like this.
Jayden punched her hard on the throat against the wall, making a whole on the wall, where she entered.
"Blair could never hurt any one". He screamed, at the top of his voice, that his rage, shook the ground.
He went to hurt her again, but her father stopped her.
"She will definitely, be punished.
Queen Marinara, stared at Tangy, and could not believe what she was looking at.
She had watched Tangy grow, she was like a daughter to her, and she had told her many times to be patient with Jayden,for already, and naturally, Jayden had a soft spot for her.
"To think I actually liked you, and if things had been different, I would have been with you, but you had to hurt me like this? He asked. Tangy was also heart broken, she just kept staring at Astra, who wouldn't meet her eye, she got up, and was about to speak, but she lost her voice.
Sodom took her away, but at the hall way, she turned to look at Sodom, but he wouldn't look at her. She knows that he wants to hand her over to the general pack security. That was Sodom's job. If he did that, she would be beheaded, and burnt alive, so she never comes back. She needed to come back somehow, and clear her name. Not like she was faultless, but she shouldn't suffer alone, so she forced herself to scream, but she could only hear her scream inside of her. It exploded to the ground, which pushed Sodom to let go of her hand, and she shape change, and ran into the woods, never to be seen again, but she sure hopes, to pass her message to Jayden, by any means possible.
