Arthur could hear the voice and the cry, he suspected that he was trying to force her to admit to what she probably didn't do, so before he causes more harm, by bringing the witches, down to them as their enemies, he had to open the door.
"I don't want you here father". He says, but it didn't look like Arthur was ready to listen to Jayden this time.
"You are going to kill her, please leave her be". Jayden dropped Astra and faced his father.
"If she didn't kill her, then who did? He asked his father, who was trying to say, Astra had nothing to do with what happened.
This was the time she had dreamt of, the time to eliminate Tangy verbally, but when she opened her mouth to talk, she couldn't.
She had planned it so well, that she knows that with her not being around, if she open her mouth to say what she has in mind, she will say it well, but then, she tried speaking again, but all to no avail.
"You have hurt her, now she. ants speak, how will she tell you what she knows, if she cannot speak? At that instant, Sodom walked in.
Sodom was afraid, shy and scared to look at Jayden In the eye, for he had specifically begged him to help look after. laid, knowing that she is just a human, with no supernatural power, and if she is attacked, she might go down real hard.
"Why did you allow this happen to her? After I told you..
"Please my king, I know what you told me, but even I cannot explain, I have been trying to find who is behind this, but all I can see is a wolf, with no particular face, I think it is Barthur or Shadon.
Astra was still trying to get her neck straight, maybe that would help bring her aural ability back.
"Can you help her get her voice back? Arthur asked Sodom, who nodded his head, as to say yes.
He brought out something from his pocket, sat on the floor, mixed three things together and then gave it to her to drink. She drank it and then started coughing, soon she was able to get her voice, she just had to say Yes first, for her to know ghatbher voice was back.
Then she stared at Jayden and said caly.
"My king, I didn't kill Blair, and I am sorry I didn't say anything to you (She turned to the king, who looked confused at her) But I think I know who killed Blair". When she said that part, Jayden turned to her, wanting to forcefully demand that she doesn't waste time, and just go ahead and tell him all he needed to know.
She had better not say Shadon or Barthur, for they are their first suspect, but if there is a different name, even if it's his mother, he would travel to submarine now and kill her.
Since Astra was hesitating, tempting him to take her life away, he decided to help her.
"It's my mother isn't it? Astra was shocked, she had to immediately speak up fir the king, before he nurses such thought in his heart for too long, and then it starts to look like the truth.
"I was trying to gather my findings, so what I did was, I asked the maiden that served the meal that day, and I think I am going to have to call her, so that she tells you by herself, what she told me?
"Don't call anyone, just give us the maiden's name let me send for her.
"She is called Zippora". Arthur was shocked at the name called. She doesn't serve meal, she is I'm the drink section, she makes all sort of wine for the palace. She isn't alone, she works with others, but she is more like the head. She had learnt how to make fine wine from her father, who served the palace diligenty, until he was too old to hold the cup and he died.
He is still seen as a hero, for he too, fought along side Arthur, against his brother Barthur.
"I need to see this maiden this very instant". Jayden ordered, while Arthur took the initiative to go and get her.
He had asked her himself, as a matter of fact, he had asked every one about that day, and they all claim not to know anything, how come Zippora was able to talk to a witch, instead of talking to him? When he got to the kitchen, they all looked shocked. He would have rang the bell and they will come out, but for him to come into a place so hot as the kitchen, then they have offended.
They bowed their head, but he didn't wait, he grabbed Zippora by the hand and pulled her away.
Marinara followed him, inside.
"Are you Zippora? Jayden asked. Already by now, Astra was beginning to enjoy how everything was going to play out. She cannot wait to be seen as the person that brought the suspense and mystery to a stop.
"Yes I am". She answered with a shaky voice. She could already suspect that Astra had told them, for she had asked her too before.
"What can you say about the death of Blair? Jayden asked, trying very hard to be calm, for the maiden, looked so innocent.
She dare not look into the eye of a royalty, while talking, so she bowed her head down and spoke.
"I will tell you all the truth I know I king.
Ok that fateful day, Princess Tangy came into the kitchen, instead of ringing the bell, she said she needed a blue cocktail, instead of the maroon wine I was making, I thought that was because of the colour, so I changed my plan immediately. Already the king had been feeling sick, and blue cocktail, have always been his best, but after Princess Blair, took it, I watch her from the window react to the drink in a different way.
I was scared, I couldn't tell the king that day because I thought that I might have made a mistake in the mixing.
Proncei Astra confronted me, and I told her the truth". Then she went down in her knees, before adding.
My king, if I am the one that have killed her unknowingly, please, you are free to do whatever you please with me, for I don't deserve to live. I shoukd never make such a mistake".
Jayden didn't know what to do. The way Astra had expected him to react, was nit the way he was reacting, instead, he asked.
"Astra, are you saying that you think that Zippora killed Blair? This was a second chance for her to sell Tangy.
"No my king, just as you too do not think she killed her, but I think that the one who had demanded for the blue cocktail did.
I believe, Tangy killed Blair!
