|| VALENTINA's POV ||
Not just a single Lamborghini..
Around ten cars came to receive the lady who earned criticism earlier for having a shallow mind. After her departure, I really once again trusted those words that meant " Don't judge a book by its cover." I couldn't understand why she showed such a casual state if she really belonged to a rich family. I had also seen a black uniformed guard, opening the door for her. Everything happened within just a few seconds. I couldn't analyze much more before her cars left, honking loudly.
Dismissing my thoughts from the unknown lady, I decided to head back for my store absentmindedly. In a few months, I will have a bigger belly which would make my walking difficult. It was best to visit her at this time. Putting my mind on that thought, I left early from the store.

The graveyard felt too lonely today. It was empty without any single noise except for the crows nearby. The sun was hiding behind the clouds today, blocking its hot rays from coming on earth. Gripping the white roses in my hands, I paced into the graveyard, feeling sad each moment of walking into the graveyard. Until I finally saw her, I stopped to stare at the tombstone,
" Lily Williams!!"
Lily was my best friend, a soul sister who passed away three years ago. We both were happy together when she lived in this town. Three years ago, she received her approval letter from her favorite university. It was stated in a different reign. So, we had to break apart eventually. However, Lily kept her promise by keeping in touch with me always. She was very excited to join the University. I was glad for her as well and supported her decision although it was hurting me. Lily was more like a sister than a best friend to me. We were so close that the teachers at high school thought us siblings. Lily was the only girl who stayed by my side when my parents were struggling. To be honest, she was the most brave girl that I had seen in my life.
I didn't understand what happened to her all of a sudden which led her to take her own life. I still remembered the time when I received the news of her suicide. Before taking her own life, she texted me a single line ' I have failed, Val.' That was the last words of my sweet sister who was my strength, a person that I could trust blindly. I had a feeling that it had something to do with her mysterious boyfriend. Lily told me that she was dating a hot guy whom she knew from her workplace. I had no idea who it was because she said that she would like to meet us from face to face. So, it was kept as a secret, a hidden secret.
Crunching next to the tombstone, I placed the flowers carefully. Tears blurred my vision when I recalled our happy days together.
Why did you take your life, Lily? Why didn't you tell me that you were struggling? Was our relationship so weak?
A part of me felt guilty because I was busy with my stripper job and studies at that time. Maybe I didn't give her that space to speak from her heart. Sobbing silently, I prayed to God for her peace and wished to find spare time to visit the place that she used to live.
Spending a few more minutes over there, I got on my feet to leave to head back to the car. Lorenzo would be worrying if I didn't return on time. When I was walking back to the car, my phone suddenly began to vibrate. Tapping on the screen, I saw a call from an unknown number. I answered it anyways and a lady spoke from the opposite end,
" Am I speaking with Valentina Avery?"
" Yes, who is it?", I mumbled, furrowing slightly. The lady replied politely, shocking me for a while,
" I am calling from Lily Williams's hostel. Do you know her?"
