|| VALENTINA's POV ||
I was sobbing all throughout my ride to the craybirds Hostel avenue. So astonishing, I received the call from her hostel right after I left the cemetery. The hostel manager waited for days for someone to collect her stuff. However, years passed but no one came to collect her stuff. I mean, who would come?
Lily was an orphan like me. After her parents demise, her brother had kicked her out of the house. Thankfully, she was a fighter and survived after struggling so hard. I bet that her brother didn't give a shit about her which was the reason that her hostel bills were still on due. That ungrateful brother didn't even come to collect her stuff.
I didn't repeat my mistake again. Before getting on the way, I made a quick call to Lorenzo and told him that I was heading for my best friend's hostel. In short, I explained the reason and he allowed it because my security guards would always be around. After what Jenny had done to me, Lorenzo trusted no one. He was scared that someone would like to hurt our baby.
I placed a hand on my stomach, rubbing circles subconsciously to tell my baby that he would be my first priority. The car honking tore my attention from my stomach. Glancing outside, I spotted the bold lettered dashboard " Craybirds Hostel." Sighing softly, I regained my calm mood and went outside. The guards started following me but I stopped them there, not wanting to draw some attention,
" You guys stay here! It's a hostel not any dangerous place. I will call you guys if I need anything."
They were hesitant but considering the fact that it was not too far away, they waited for me there whilst I went into the Hostel.

" Miss Avery, am I right?", the hostel manager lady asked me, pushing her glass down. I nodded dropping my eyes on my palms,
" Mmm, yes!"
The lady spoke politely, smiling,
" Oh dear! I am so sorry for bothering you but after going through her staff, we have gotten your contact only. You were best friends probably?"
I nodded my head heavily, tears threatened to fall from my eyes. She continued in a sorry voice,
" I am sorry for your loss but it has to be done. We can't keep the room on hold forever. It must be hard for you but..we don't know where to deliver the goodies."
Taking a deep breath, I smiled back weakly, memories of us continued to haunt my brain,
" It's okay! I can really handle it. She has no one to send those staff more likely. Show me the way. I will pack it up fast."
The lady manager smiled back in relief, stood up to point away,
" Come with me! She used to live in room No.601. Lily was a sweet girl. I don't know why she had killed herself. All I wish is that she is at peace."
