Cygnus' POV
I cleared my throat.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
She looked at me.
"I will make things right, Cygnus. And I will make you mine," she said and came inside the hospital.
She shouldn't have barged in! Oh, sh*t!
I was trying to hold her back but she was too fast!
Luckily, Harry wasn't in the room anymore. Maybe they finished talking. Is that how long I stayed with her outside?
Stacey's POV
2 weeks have already passed after we buried Mom where our grandparents lie.
It's been so fast. But Yul Matthew is out of nowhere to be seen. Since the day of my mother's death, he's not trying to see or compensate me.
At this moment in my life, he is the first person I want beside me. Yet, he is missing in action.
As always, he disappointed me again.
"Tch. Then don't assume, girl! You're more than a hostess girl who married a CEO. You're more worth it," Kate said.
Yep, we're okay now. She was the one to explain everything, including Yul's actions. She said that it was her and Faith's fault.
It may be too hard to believe, but his sickness is true.
"Says by the girl who's addicted and assuming to be a multimillionaire," I said.
Cygnus told me about his assets. God! If I had only known about it sooner, then I should've married him.
Just kidding! Haha! I just thought that if the situation is kinda different, maybe, Yul and I don't need to cross paths.
"Hmph. He has already unloved you, and fallen for me either! It's true!" she said. I just smiled.
I know how in love Cygnus and Kate are with each other now. He's really over me, and I'm glad he found the girl he deserves.
People make mistakes, and if you don't forgive, you're the one who's burdened, not them.
"Okay, okay! I'm not going against you, guys! Just keep it slow," I said.
"So, let's go home?" Harry said. I smiled and nodded in response.
But I felt like I want to puke.
Again...
"I told you, you should test yourself. Who knows? Maybe you're pregnant," Kate said.
"Here, I bought one for you," Cygnus, who just came in, said.
"You guys are working together for this, aren't you?" I asked. They just laughed.
But I didn't expect this will become our reality.
I am pregnant.
Yul's POV
I should fix all of this sh*t before coming back to her. But I have no energy at all.
Faith has been by my side ever since I left her and took leave in our company. It's at stake, but I can't handle it at this state. I'm just too emotional to put things back on track for our company.
My father sent Faith away to Korea 'cause she'll gonna put me and my reputation in danger.
"What is this report, Servano? I inherited you my position 'cause I know your potential. Yet, you're acting like a child!" Dad said.
My actions infuriated my father to an extent.
"Hey, Yuno, don't scold him again. You've been doing this for a whole week," Mom said.
"Then talk to your son and give him a lesson!" he said.
"I'm sorry, Dad," I responded and went straight to my room.
Maecey followed me, but I don't have the energy to send her back.
"Do you want to eat something luxurious, Kuya? I'm a big girl now, and I can make you one!" she said. I just smiled.
"Thank you for your offer, Ms. Chef! But I want to rest. You'll help me if you leave me here alone, baby girl," I said.
She frowned for a minute but then agreed and left.
My phone suddenly buzzed.
"I'm outside your mansion," she texted.
I almost jumped!
My heart is thumping so fast! Am I dreaming or not? Is this true?
I immediately washed my face, changed my clothes, brushed my teeth, and sprayed perfume.
"Oh god, brother! Your perfume is so strong!" Mane said after I bumped into her, running outside our house.
I ignored her.
"Wow! Sorry, huh?!" she sarcastically said.
I was about to open the door, but she did it.
"Stacey?" I said and immediately hugged her.
She pushed me away.
It's like someone stabbed me a needle. Why is she still like this?
"It's George," she said.
"W-what? George? Wait, that's not the issue. I thought--"
"---we're okay? No. I was about to, But I discovered you're still doing sh*t behind my back. Still f*cking everyone else!" she said.
"I thought you understand my situation? That's the reason why I locked myself here so that no one would be able to invade my drinks," I said.
She suddenly tears up.
"I'm sorry. It's just too painful. I couldn't feel you're fighting the spirit inside you," she said and came in while wiping her tears.
"Hey! Don't leave me here we're still talking!"
"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Servano," she greeted my parents and bowed.
"Come on stop being---"
She cut me out by taking out a piece of a rectangle from her bag and showing it to my parents.
"I'm pregnant."
What the f*ck!
"I'm going to be a father?" I asked.
"And our separation is getting near," she said.
My father suddenly went wild!
"I'm sorry, but your separation will happen now!" my father said.
"Huh?" I uttered.
Dad took out an annulment paper from his room.
"Sign it. I will abort your child, and terminate our contract," he said.
"We have a contract," she confidently said.
"You didn't read it thoroughly. It says, once there's a valid reason to break it, we will."
"What are you saying?"
She looked troubled.
"In the first place, you knew she was a hostess girl. Yet you continued bugging and torturing her. Both of you deserve punishment," he said.
"Yes, I did. But no Dad, I won't let you abort my child."
"If so, you have to leave the company," he said.
"Well, if that's the only way to save my child and wife, I will."
