He seemed surprised but she had a trick tucked up her sleeve. Those people were his leverage against her so he dared not harm them.
"Okay, that was quick. I was expecting a little resistance from you to be honest. Alright, I won't kill..."
"No,tell these people to kill themselves."She said and he turned to look at her, shock written all over his face.
Just like she knew.
To her greatest surprise, the people reached out to their chest and ripped out their hearts. Blood seeped out here and there and soon the floor of the ground was covered in blood.
"No" this...isn't what I...I wanted."She stuttered and he looked pleased.
"You look shocked. Did you really think I wouldn't be able to do it? I owe you a beating, don't I?" He snapped as he advanced towards her to attack.
She made to avoid his hit but he got her anyway, hitting her repeatedly and more severely each time.
"Are you giving up that easily? Even a pureblood is no match for my power...It doesn't matter how strong you are. It's all over when I take control of your mind..."He laughed as he kept hitting her.
He stopped punching when a megrim suddenly hit him and he felt dizzy. What was going on? She heard him ask himself in his thought. She'd awaken her power right on time.
She made him move his claws to his chest and he slowly raised his head to look at her.
"Hypnosis..." She was saying as she raised her hand. "...is easier than it looks."
A movement caught his eye and he turned to look at the people he'd hypnotized dropping to the floor, breaking free from it.
He broke into a cold sweat. What was happening? He wondered. How was it possible? How could she have picked up his ability?
She smiled to herself amidst all of this. She could hear his every thoughts.
He probed himself further, asking how impossible it was to have copied his ability as he'd spent years pushing his brain to its' limits and snapping his fingers until they'd gotten sore.
It didn't matter, he comforted himself. He was going to break free as long as he put his mind to it.
She snapped her fingers and he sweated profusely as the dizziness increased.
"Why can't I break free? Not even my hypnosis was this powerful...I didn't realize when she'd put me under hypnosis..."He thought within himself.
"It all started...when I was begging you to let those people go.You told me you accidentally unearthed some traumatic experience.Thanks for that, anyway...I think, through that you may have awoken my true power." She replied and leaped towards him.
Her claws went to scratch his face as she threw hits to him, not waiting for him to recover before each blow. Blood spewed out of his mouth every now and then as she hit him and he made no attempt to beg for his miserable life.
She wrapped her hands around his neck, intending to choke him and he burst into laughter.
"Just bear this in mind.Whatever I dredged up today...was but a small part of your repressed memories.You'll never be able to handle them."
"Fine. But I'm sure you have bigger things to worry about now." She said and raised her hand to give him a blow on the stomach, causing the entire school to shake to its' foundation.
Kaiwan had made a report about the school's situation and the government swung into action and moved the students to an isolation center and Hannah texted her a couple of days later.
"Hi, Detective Zuriña." Zuriña read out from her tablet. "This is kinda awkward lol...
I'm not very good at this because I'm shy.
I'm in the government facility now. We are not allowed to meet anyone from the outside world so the only people I can see are students from my school.
Everyone's struggling, except for me so I'm trying to share food with the others and stuff like that.
I'm not sure if I'll be happy living here yet. There are a lot of faces I'm yet to get used to but for the first time in my life, I was able to sleep without having any nightmares.

"I'm a little disappointed that's she seems closer to you.The government decided to put them in a facility to monitor and protect them. after all it's not like the kids did anything wrong."
"I hope she'll be okay." She sighed, looking out at the view that night.
"They'll try to make sure their lives are stress free for the five years they have left to live...
Sahan was a real piece of work by the way. He became an angel of death because he was angry at his patients for not doing what he told them to do. That jerk was so obsessed with controlling others that it gave him the power to hypnotize."
"He....really was twisted. Does that mean all the potential vampire transformation hotspots has been taken care of?"
"That's right. I guess all the angels of death are rattled now that we're taking them out one by one. this is our chance to attack. I almost forgot..." He said and crouched to her level, bringing his face very close to hers.
"Have you worked out the full range of your abilities?I assumed that the extraordinary abilities that mixed blood vampires have were passed down from purebloods."
Her mind went back to the couple that'd flashed through her mind back in the school.
She'd probably gain more power once she recovered some of her lost memories.
Her mind went back to the white haired woman covered in blood and she wondered who that woman was and why she was covered in blood?

"Well, you'll figure it out. Anyway, the last few days have been a blur. It was such a big case that I had my hands full tying up loose ends and writing reports." He said and turned to look out.
She stretched as she rose. "Alright, I'm off to bed."
"Oh, did you know?" He was saying as she walked towards the door. "...I was actually holding back on smoking just for you...."She slammed the door behind her and he sighed as he turned to look at birds who chirped as they flew around.
"Boy is it hard to become friends with her... It's time to put the wheels in action."
