It shocked me the way Aurora ran out of the room. One second we were having the best time of our lives- myself anyways- the next minute, she was running out of the room.
Rushing after her, I tried calling out to her to speak with her but she dashed away from me quickly. It was only after she had gone that I realized what I had done.
I fucked Aurora.
We had sex.
I found myself unconsciously walking and taking a seat on the bed, I brushed my hands through my face and went through everything that had just happened. I suddenly didn't blame Aurora for leaving, we had done something we shouldn't have.
We had sex… a forbidden intimacy that was supposed to die in our hearts.
“Have you fucked her yet?” Mom's words sounded in my ears, vibrating in the depth of my heart and I buried my face in my hands.
She hadn't meant Aurora, she meant Tiffany, my wife to be, but there I went going for who I wasn't supposed to.
I supported Aurora calling me an asshole because at this moment I truly felt like one. If the pack should hear of what we have done, there would be an uproar and it was exactly what we didn't need especially in a time like this.
But what do I do? What do I do about Aurora and the yearning in my heart for her. Do I just let it die or fight for it?

As early as I could, I arrived at Aurora's room and knocked on the door. I knew she usually leaves early to the hospital so I purposely came early to see her, plus others were yet to wake so I won't arouse any suspicion.
“Kelly, is that you? Come on in” I heard her say.
I exhaled and opened the door, it opened with a groan and I stepped in. My heart skipped to see Aurora again and images of last night with her rushed through my mind.
She also raised her head from what she was doing and I saw a little panic in her but it disappeared as soon as it came. She frowned and straightened before saying, “What are you doing here, your highness? You are not supposed to be here." She said in a low whisper semi-harsh tone.
I frowned as well. I didn't appreciate her attitude. And 'Your highness?' I could see she was purposely acting distant. Could we ever be distant with what happened yesterday?
“We need to talk” I pressed further despite her acting so unapproachable.
“Forgive me your highness but we can't talk. There's nothing to talk about and I'm very busy right now.” She said with a straight face while she continued with what she was doing.
I knew she was purposely avoiding me, I was calm because I kind of understood her point of view. Notwithstanding, I was starting to get a little irritated with how carelessly she was treating me.
“Look, about last night, we…”
“I said we can't talk."
I took a warning step forward and inched closer to her, "Aurora, stop doing this. Don't try to avoid this conversation."
Leo stirred inside, already riled up by Aurora's stubbornness. It was the one thing I noticed Aurora liked doing, she always tried to rile me up with her words, and I kind of found it sexy.
Images of last night flashed through my mind and I felt my junior in-between my legs twitch a little. Goddess! How can a woman infuriate me and still leave me wanting to lie with her at the same time. I was a mess, Aurora made me a mess.
“Oh I'm sorry my lord, I thought you didn't hear me so I thought to speak louder” she retorted with her voice dripping with sarcasm.
My jaw ticked hard and I was about to say something stern when the bathroom door clicked open and Arne walked out with a towel wrapped around his waist.
“Uncle Ethan!” he called to me happily immediately his eyes fell on me. He began sprinting to run into my hands and my hands were already open to receive him with a smile.
Just as he was about to run past his mother's side, she stopped him with her hands and said in a stern voice, “I’m already late for work, Arne. So get dressed quickly instead of playing around”
Arne face fell and his excitement to see me disappeared. He simply turned around and began getting dressed while his mother helped him. He was obviously not happy to cut short of his happiness but as a good son, he didn't argue and just went obeyed.
My frown deepened. What had Arne got to do in all of this? It was clear Aurora was trying to avoid me, I could see the desperation in her eyes, she badly wanted to forget what happened between us last night, but Arne? She shouldn't let the poor boy suffer for our mistake.
Ever since she came, she had been acting tough and being defensive whenever she spoke to me, especially about Arne. So I was kind of used to her attitude, she could never intimidate me with it, in fact it made me get curious and interested.
I didn't really care though, I still wanted to talk to her about last night, I only hesitated because of Arne or else I would have put her in her place and told her what I came here for regardless.
She completely ignored my presence and quietly attended to herself and her son. I didn't want Arne to hear our conversation, he was a smart kid so I decided to leave and find her some other time. She can't run away from me forever.
I turned to leave without saying a word and then I remembered something important that I hadn't told her yet so I turned and said in a clipped tone,
“I’m getting married in seven days” and then I left without looking at her reaction.
