“What's going on?” I heard a familiar voice say behind me, her voice had pulled me out of my stunned state. I couldn't believe Aurora had spoken to me angrily and the things she said, they made me feel so guilty I could hit myself.
Deep down, I knew she was right, I was an indecisive asshole, but I had no idea she was that hurt and now I felt like a fool for asking her what her problem was when it was so clear it was me.
“I just saw Aurora storm off and she looked angry, what happened?” Tiffany asked again and then I realized I had zoned out again.
“Um, it's nothing. Don't worry about it." I said as I turned around to look at her with a forced welcoming smile.
“You sure? the atmosphere looked quite tense,” she said, clearly not convinced.
“It’s nothing for you to be worried about.” I said in a dismissive tone and changed the topic immediately , “So what brings you here? I didn't know you were coming today”
Tiffany's lips stretched out in a smile, "I was missing you, so I decided to come and see you. My soon to be husband." Her smile made her already beautiful face brighter.
Tiffany was admittedly a stunning woman and very opinionated, she had the ability to take charge and lead, perfect for a Luna.
What about Aurora? She was a goddess, stubborn and deeply opinionated, she could lead so damn well, she did supervise the hospital for 3 months and led the production of this cure. She was perfect for a Luna too but… the problem was her past and connection with me, the pack would find it hard to accept her… but do they really matter?
“You are zoning out again!” Tiffany pointed out with a small whine, drawing me back to reality.
I chuckled dryly, “My apologies, being an alpha at this trying time is mentally challenging. Come on, let's go up to the room to talk." I said and took her hands, leading her to my room.
“I can understand the stress, that's why I highly respect you, being a leader is not an easy job.” Tiffany replied. In a few minutes, we were in my room, I shut the door and we both sat on my bed to chat.
I sighed tiredly, “It really isn't." Due to my position, my personal preference and that of the pack were always on the line, I couldn't just do whatever I liked, that was what Aurora failed to understand.
“Well, in a few days, you will have me to help you relieve the stress and share responsibility. You won't have to do it all alone.” She said with a genuine smile and I smiled back.
Goddess! Why can't I just be satisfied with her? Everyone will be happy if I did.
“Meanwhile, I could help by giving you a massage,” Tiffany added as she slowly stood up and turned to sit behind me. Then with her manicured soft hands, she began to massage my shoulders, arms and back expertly. I didn't know when I released a relieved sigh, I really needed that because of how tensed I have been for the past few days.
“Thank you,” I muttered as I closed my eyes and relaxed more into her touch, she only stiffled a chuckle and continued. After a few minutes, her hands began to trail down my chest. I could smell her from our close proximity and she smelt lovely, I could only feel her chest rubbing against the back of my head and it made my junior jump in alertness.
I was contemplating if I should pull away and prevent things from getting out of hand when I remembered my mother's words about having intimacy with Tiffany. Maybe this was good, if I could get my mind off Aurora through this ,with Tiffany, then everybody would be happy and all will be well.
As if Tiffany could hear my thoughts, I felt her soft thin lips on my mouth. She was outrightly kissing me with her head bent over mine. I opened my eyes when she pulled back and turned so I was facing her, then I pulled her in for a kiss.
She was very responsive, following my lead as we entangled our tongues. My hands roamed her body and I grabbed her ass which earned a surprise gasp from her but she didn't pull away, instead she came even closer.
I received little flashbacks of Aurora soothing moans that made me want to make her moan more. She somehow spark the primal lust in me, it wasn't just because of the mate bond, it was deeper than that. I wanted to claim her, mark her as mine, have my scent embedded in her.

I grunted and raised Tiffany so that she was lying on her back on the bed and I was on top of her, I went for another round of kissing while tugging at her shirt. I didn't like that I was thinking about Aurora when all I wanted to do was forget about her in this moment.
Tiffany paused and took off her clothes like it was an irritating material obstructing her from getting a full experience. Her lacy red bra on her pale white skin was left on full display for me. I noted that Aurora's breast was fuller than Tiffany’s, maybe it was because she had birthed a child.
I groaned loudy and face palmed my face physically.
Aurora, Aurora, Aurora!
Somehow she managed to sneak into my head everytime.
I wanted to see if I could erase her with Tiffany but this only proved that she was stuck with in my mind. I suddenly lost interest in my current activity with Tiffany. There was no point continuing when I knew I would always long for Aurora, I needed to things right and I needed to start now.
Aurora, I'm coming.
Lost in my head, I pulled away from Tiffany and muttered, “I’m sorry, I can't do this,” then I walked out of the room without waiting to hear from her.
