She ended up going home early, her mind racing, heart hammering. Her mind flashing to that awful moment with Theo a few hours ago.
His cold breath tickled her ear and her throat as he spoke.
“You haven’t been successful in finding the cameras have you? I know you haven’t.”
She stilled. So there were cameras in her apartment. And he knew she had been searching for them.
No. He was just fishing.
“Should I tell you how many there are?” A smile clearly on his lips. Her own silent.
“There are five of them. One in your bedroom, one in your closet, two in your bathroom and one on your work desk.” He said.
An expression of anger and uncaring fixed onto her face. “You know its really disgusting that you could make up something like that and really stupid of me to just stay here and listen. Get off of me Theo.”
“Oh you think I’m making this up?” He asked moving his face away from her ear and neck to look down at hers.
“Yes, now let me go or else.”
His face went smug. “Or else what?”
“I’ll scream the roof down and that wouldn’t bode well for you especially with what is in that drawer.” She said. She had not told Mrs Trin about him but he did not need to know that.
“That’s why first thing Monday morning you are going to cancel that complaint or…”
“Or what Theo? Are you going to kill me?” She asked, daring him.
Theo just gave an angelic smile before it reverted to the devil’s personal toy while digging his phone out of his pocket with his right hand, the left one holding her securely.
He opened his phone and started playing a video, turning the screen to her.
What she saw put her in shock and brought back the urge to vomit. She just stared at the screen.
“H-how did you get that?” She asked her voice trembling.
Theo had a victorious smirk on his face. “I told you. I put cameras in your apartment and out of all the women I’ve filmed I gotta say, you are in the top three.
Before videos were the only thing that did it for me but with you even pictures work just as well. Want to see?”
He moved to his camera roll and she fell into a deeper pit of shock. There were pictures of her in the shower, bending down right into the camera while wearing her underwear, pictures of her trying out the new lingerie she had bought a week ago.
Everything from the video to all of these were in high resolution. She saw everything.
The lasagna was coming back up. Along with every other thing she had in her stomach.
“The videos of you getting freaky are the best, got me through a lot of times when everyone got boring and when Talia gave me a hard time. You’ve got a really nice ass.
You get what I’m trying to say right? Either you withdraw the complaint or I’m going to share this with a few NSFW groups. They’ll love you. I sure did.
Come to the engagement party tomorrow.” He said, digging out an invitation card from his pocket and putting it in hers. Smiling with a mixture of victory and smugness.
“I’ll exchange what I have for your silence. And let’s keep this between us alright? Or you’ll become the internet’s new love doll.”
She threw up the lasagna more than a fair share landing squarely on Theo before he could move.
Luckily for her she usually spat vomit clean away from her. The only one covered in anything was Theo and he was taken aback before being filled with shock, rage and disgust.
She ran before he could do anything. Luckily she always kept her car keys in her pocket, she took her car and drove out.
She had personally looked everywhere and did not find so much as a camera lens. She was very thorough. Then how did he get his hands on those pictures let alone those videos.
She felt like killing Theo, she felt helpless. Violated.
Her house keys were on her bag and she had left that at the office so she could not go home. Not that with everything she just found out she would be going back there anytime soon.
She did not know what to do until a name popped up in her head. Lucinda. Jennifer. They had gone through this crap before they must know what to do.
She made for Lucinda’s place, she just hoped she was around.

“Got all that?” Mrs Trin asked through the headset.
“Yes Ma’am” The agent on the line replied.
Mrs. Trin or better yet agent Gern had watched the entire exchange the two employees had.
The guys with the cameras were just as good as hiding them as the bastard was too and this time they had gotten something much more substantial than nudes.
All they needed was to know which crime he committed aside from illegal surveillance and blackmail.
“That sure was a lot of yak.” The agent said.
It was not the best or usual thing she or any other person in that situation would have done but it was a strike back.
And the look on the bloodsucking bastard’s face was gold.
Ever since the arrests yesterday as expected a lot of vampires were looking for a way to escape the fire through bullying and blackmail and this one was no different.
Her guess was that the vampire had broke the no drinking law and if it went to that level of blackmail then he had violated it several times.
That was the most common law broken within the company.
“Send a squad to remove all the cameras in her apartment, it’s unlikely she’ll be there after this. Make it seem like they are still place and operational.”
“Yes Ma’am.” He replied
“Agent Corry, is the sniper anywhere in sight?” She asked.
Agent Corry was on lookout from the next building. “No ma’am, not hide or hair.” She replied.
‘That was odd’. Agent Gern thought. ‘He should have been here by now.’
“Everyone keep your eyes peeled. I want Alexius Elias spotted the moment he steps foot here–“
“That won’t be necessary Agent Gern.” One of her agents said.
There was silence.
“Davis, don’t tell me he’s dead.” It was always the inevitable outcome. If that was the case she was going to turn in her badge.
She had been on Alexius’ trail for years and everytime she was this close, he would disappear leaving a dead person or persons in his wake.
“No Ma’am but Alexius nearly is.”
The shock was evident in her voice and in everyone else’s silence.
“Come again.”
“Mr Princeton is doing just fine and beating Alexius to a badly messed up pulp.”
Agent Gern grabbed her tranq gun and started making her way to Princeton’s office. Four other agents behind her. “All units close off the area and move in on code blue. Now.”
For all intents and purposes Alexius’ capture was crucial. The only reason they carried tranq guns was to fit that purpose alone, each agent carried a real gun in case the situation ever arose.
By the time they got to Princeton’s office, the door was open and waiting for them. Princeton was on his laptop working, a gun in a ziploc bag sitting on the desk while Alexius was on the floor awake and whimpering without so much as a cut.
What damage Princeton did not do on the outside he made up for with damage on the inside.
Their target looked like a misshapen and awkwardly tied present with black, blue and purple bruised flesh as wrapping paper showered in sprinkles of human suffering.
