Someone's Pov
"Doc! Nurse! Tulungan niyo po ang nanay ko!"
I tried to get the attention of the nurses inside of the Hospital. I couldn't hold back my tears as I saw my mom rush on the patient's bed and put her inside of the emergency room.
I can't breathe. I don't know what to do. As I've tried to calm myself, I find myself looking at my Mom's while browsing his number. I know he will help us. He's still responsible for us.
"H-hello."
I tried to stay calm but couldn't hold it back because I'm afraid of what he will say.
"Di ba ang sabi ko sayo wag ka ng tatawag pa?! What?!"
"P-pa."
Hindi ko alam kung ano ang mararamdaman ko ng marinig ang galit na boses niya.
"N-nasaksak s-si M-ama, hindi...hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko. Hindi pa nalabas ang Doktor pero kahit na maliit na pang pa-ospital ay wala ako. Please, kahit n-ngayon lang."
Halos palunok lunok pa ako bago matapos ang sasabihin. Sigurado akong malaki ang gagastusin sa hospital. Kahit na nag aalala ako para kay Mama hindi pa rin ako mapakali kung sakaling kakailanganin ng malaking pera. Mahirap lang kame kaya kailangan ko si Papa kahit na galit ako sa kaniya.
"I still have a meeting. I can't go there. Kakahingi lang saken ng nanay mo noong nakaraang linggo. I have to go."
Hindi pa man ako nakakapagsalita ay agad namang pagpatay ng kabilang linya.
Natauhan lang ako ng bumukas ang pintl ng emergency room na agad ko naman ikinalapit sa doktor at mabilis na nagtanong.
"Doc! Kamusta po ang nanay ko? Gawin niyo po ang lahat doc! Kahit magkano pa iyan basta iligtas niyo lang siya!"
I can't afford the cost but my mother needs me. Kahit pa magnakaw ako ay gagawin ko mailigtas lang siya.
"I am very sorry, she can't stay for long because of the stab she got. Her organs aren't in a good state anymore. We did everything we can do. I am sorry."
Matapos sabihin ay mabilis siyang umalis sa harap ko. Sinubukan ko pang pumasok sa emergency room pero pinigilan na ako ng iba pang nurse.
"Mga wala kayong kwenta! Mga naging nurse at doktor pa kayo! Pagalingin niyo ang nanay ko!"
That day, my mother died. I can't resist my anger towards the people na dapat sana ang tumutulong sa amin. Halos latang lata akong naglalakad papalabas ng entrata ng hospital. Napatigil lamang ako ng makita ang dalawang doktor na nag uusap.
"Who told you I can't drink? Lets celebrate! File a leave now, ako na ang bahala kumausap kay Mommy."
Unti unting kumulo ang dugo ko ng makita kung gaano sila kasaya. Hindi ko nga kilala ang lalaking doktor ngunit sigurado akong siya ang kausap ko kanina lang. I tried to watch them far to memorize all of them. I know who that doctor with. Natigil lang ako sa masamang pagtingin ng umalis na silang pareho.
"Hello."
"What again?"
"She died because of you. I can see your wife over here, Pa. I don't think telling her everything is a good idea. I can't be quiet after my mother died without proper medication."
"What do you mean that you are there?! Are you really out of your mind?! If you tell her everything, I might do something you won't like! If you want money, I'll give you some!"

"What about now? We can go on a trip too if you want."
I drink another glass of wine while still looking up at a dark sky.
"We can start. I am ready to unsee the past."
I take a deep breath before looking at him. Maybe everything got to change. I wouldn't mind if she ask things like that. We have the same father but we were different. I could finally meet her without worrying if I am ready or not. Maybe she will think I am the darkest of her darkest self, but she will realize I am also the darkness behind her mother's death.
I slowly walk towards him put my hand on his shoulder as I smile at him.
"Those cards are wasted part. Do you know why I like playing her?"
I asked trying to act like a cool woman. I am proud that I live this life without that old man's help. No wonder, namana namin sa matandang iyon ang ganitong pag uugali. Well, maybe I will visit first that old man. He needs to see another daughter. At least he won't be curious where I am right now.
"Do you think I need to send flowers to her grave?"
As he tried to get to me closer, I remove my hands on his shoulder and walk to the bar stole, and drink another glass of wine.
"No grave. We can use her to remove the Vice President."
"No grave? Or you still care for her?"
My forehead creased because of what he said.
"I needed her for my shares. Since the account already passed to her years ago, I couldn't claim mine," Mautak ko pang sabi bago muling tumanaw sa itaas. There is a diamond luxury chandelier.
He goes on a sofa and picks up his coat and then faces me.
"I think I need to go back to the hospital, I thought we could have a cuddled here."
Pasiring pa siyang kumindat sa akin bago lumapit at humalik sa pisngi ko.
"I'll be back tonight so don't hope na nakaligtas ka sakin ngayon," may pang aakit pang bulong nito bago ako muling hinalikan sa tungki ng ilong.
"Stop it. I need to call a flight now. We should be getting ready."
He even tried to tease me again before leaving me thinking of what he said.
Maybe I still care for her. When I looked at her, I can see her mother feature. They also have the same second name. I can change the fact that I am her older sister. Maybe, we don't have the same mother but I am always longing to have a sister back then.
After drinking another shot of alcohol, I needed to shower before continuing the plan.
