Ashton had been locked up since last night after the incident.
He was beginning to get worried about what was happening with Hava, he hadn’t been able to speak with anyone and neither had he seen the Alpha too.
A sound of chains being carried down the dungeon was all he could hear and in no time the Alpha and two guards were standing in front of him.
He could tell that the chains were meant for him because they had been used once before for Richard when he had deceived the Alpha.
The guards got into his cell while Alpha Reid just stood in front of him staring at him with a dark gaze, he didn’t uttter anything to him so Ashton didn’t see the need to talk. He was more focused on the amount of beatings he was about to get.
The next thing he knew his back was burning from having the silver chain hit on him, Ashton had never witnessed such before and the pain he felt was unbearable. One strike turned into two until it was more than he could count because he was more consumed by the pain to be bothered about how many times he was hit.
“Stop” Alpha Reid ordered and the guards stoped, Ashton could feel blood dripping from his back and he wasn’t healing quickly because the chains were silver, it was burning him within.
Alpha Reid moved closer to him accessing him then he stepped back once again and ordered the guards to continue.
Once again Ashton’s back was on fire from having silver graze on it, he wanted to scream out in pain but he couldn’t because it would only make him look weak. Ashton already knew that with what he had done he would be stripped of his title as the Gamma but that didn’t mean that the guards or anyone around didn’t know his position before so it would only him look incompetent if he yelled in pain.
“Stop” Alpha Reid ordered again and he tried to catch his breath, he was slowly losing himself to the burning pain allowing it to consume him.
Alpha Reid moved closer to him once again and he wondered what exactly he was checking. He moved back again.
“This time I want you to beat him all over” he commanded the guards. Ashton was beaten mercilessly at all parts of his body and he felt like he was in fire still he wouldn’t break because this was the price he had to pay for betraying the Alpha but if he was given such circumstances once again, he would still do it.
“Stop” Alpha Reid commanded after a while and Ashton was brought down from the chains holding his hands. He curled in a corner withering pain when Alpha Reid squatted in front of him and squeezed his jaw to make him look up to him.
“This is just the beginning, I will make sure that you die here” he said and then left with the guards leaving him to hold back his screams of pain and agony.
In Hava’s room, Rebecca brought food for her being the only one allowed to enter into her room.
Have wasn’t concerned about the food but wanted to know how Ashton was doing,
“How is he?” She asked indirectly yet Rebecca knew who she was taking about, Ofcourse she would be bothered about her mate’s well-being.
“He is not doing well, I just saw the Alpha and two guards step out of the dungeon with chains. I think he was tortured” she relayed to her.
Hava covered her lips in shock, this was not what she wanted for him, everything had taken a wild turn from what they had imagined.
“Why don’t you eat, you would need your strength” Rebecca said pushing the food towards her but Hava wouldn’t dare to eat while Ashton was being tortured.
“Everything was going according to plan, we were about to leave, how did he find out?” Hava stated but she was more of asking herself about it. After she had told Alpha Reid that the child was his, he had no doubts and immediately believed her but all of a sudden he snapped and had to ask for clarification.
“I told him” Rebecca said and she instantly glared at her.
“You did what?” She questioned.
“I just gave him a slight idea that the child might not be his and he got the clue. You cannot blame me for your mate overreacting and telling him the whole truth” Rebecca said standing up from the bed and folding her arms to look at her.
Hava watched everything play out in her head, she was damn certain that Alpha Reid wouldn’t suspect her again but still he did, he wouldn’t have been able to do that if someone hadn’t triggered him.
“You are the cause of all this” she said with widened eyes and Rebecca smirked.
“Don’t blame me for what is happening to you, you are the cause of this. You saw exactly what happened to Lily yet you and the Gamma went ahead to do the same thing over again even after I had warned you two not to cross me” she answered.
“Is that why you betrayed us?” She yelled struggling with the chain holding her hands to the bed, she wished she was able to beat the hell out of Rebecca for doing that to her.
“What other reason would I have, no one can take away what is mine, not even you” she hissed and walked out of her room.
Hava screamed loudly, now she understood why she was in her current predicament, it was all because of Rebecca, she was the one who betrayed her.
“I will kill you, you bitch” she yelled but Rebecca was long gone.

At a nice and cozy house in the Bluemoon pack, Lucian was having a good rest when he suddenly had a nightmare.
“Lucian” he kept hearing the voice of his mate calling him while she ran through the woods, before he could get to her Cabello had already caught unto her and sliced her neck.
“Nooooo” he screamed in the dream finally waking up all sweaty, the thought of losing his mate gripped him that he clenched his fist in anger.
It had been a while since he had such nightmares about her but now that she was back with Cabello he began having them once again.
He sat upright thinking about it before he noticed something familiar, the house that they lived in and the house in his dream was the same. It has been the same house in every dream that he had and he was begging to panic.
‘What if the dream was coming true?’ He asked himself.
What if his mate was about to die and he didn’t know how to save her and could only watch her get killed by Cabello.
Lucian could feel the dream was coming true and he feared for Denise now more than ever, he knew he had to warn her of her Uncle but how was he going to do that without coming off as the bad guy and making it not seem like he didn’t want to separate them and have her all to himself.
Lucian could feel that Denise wouldn’t believe him because Cabello was the only family she had and she trusts he would never do such a thing to her.
He ran his hands through his hair wondering what next he must do to be able to convince Denise that she was in danger.
“How about not telling her” his wolf suggested to him.
“We can protect her by ourselves without telling her” his wolf added.
“I have to tell her, it would better if she knows, if she doesn’t believe me then I am fine with that but she has to know about it.
“Fine, you can do as you wish” his wolf said and retracted back into his subconscious.
“I just wish she would believe me” he muttered to himself staring at the evening sky through his window.
