The once booming Dark moon pack was now destroyed and in ruins, the pack had been attack for about an hour and a lot of damage was being done to the pack.
Houses were on fire including the packhouse which was almost crumbling to the ground.
Rebecca had hidden herself from the attack by hiding in the secret room, when she stepped out, everything was in ruins.
The kitchen was a total mess, there was blood everywhere, dead omegas were lying on the floor with their bodies being torn to pieces, it was horrifying to look at.
She stepped out of the kitchen and out into the open, the walls were being broken down and a dozen guards were lying dead both in their wolves and human forms. She could also see the bodies of her fellow mistresses killed too.
Whoever must have attacked the pack showed no mercy and Rebecca knew that she would have been dead if she hadn’t hidden herself.
After the Alpha had gotten news from the guards that Hava and Ashton had escaped, he sprinted as fast as he could into the woods to stop them and that was when the pack was attacked.
With the Alpha and Gamma being absent it was easier to subdue the pack because the Alpha wasn’t there to motivate his men.
She found a familiar wolf bloodied and from the look of it she could tell who it was, it was Beta. He must have fought as hard as he could but that wasn’t enough and he had to die trying to protecting the pack. She searched around and there was no traces that Alpha Reid was back.
If he went after Ashton and Hava then he should be back by now with either the probability that he had caught them and Killed Ashton or that they had escaped him.
She traced his marks into the woods and went far deeper,
“How far did he have to go to retrieve them” she thought to herself.
Rebecca was well aware how obsessed Alpha Reid was with having an heir and she didn’t want to be the one to stand in his way so she accepted his offer to be the Luna and also act as the mother to Hava’s child just to make him happy and to keep the Luna title she had fought so hard to get to herself.
The smell of blood filled her nostrils and she ran as fast as she could towards it, as she got closer it was mixed with Alpha Reid scent and she wished and hoped in her heart that he wasn’t dead but that wasn’t the case.
She found him lying on the ground lifeless,
“No”’she yelled rushing to him as she knelt down by his side keeping his head on her laps.
“Alpha Reid” she called out to him but there was no response. He was out cold and definitely dead.
She couldn’t believe that he was actually dead, she couldn’t believe that Ashton would be able to kill the Alpha.
“Alpha Reid you have to wake up” she shook him but he was long gone.
Rebecca sat down close to this dead body thinking of what she could do with her life now that he was gone but she was completely blank. Alpha Reid was her first love and the only man she had ever loved. When she met him, his mate had just died and he was lonely and desperate to have an heir. She promised to bear a child for him if he would make her his own and he did. Rebecca abandoned her pack and family and stayed with him and in a few days time her pack was attacked by rogues killing them all. She had no one to go to so she stayed with Alpha Reid for support, months turned into years and she was not able to give birth to an heir for him as she had promised. He slowly became desperate again and lost all hope in her.
One day he brought home another woman and laid with her, he told her that she was going to give birth to an heir for him and she felt bad about it, she was given a chance to leave but she didn’t want to because she loved him and also had no where else to go. She stayed back and watched him bring one woman to the other until he became possessive of all of them and would never let them go.
She watched how she had to share a man she thought would be his with other women and also hide her emotions from him as he grew colder by the years because he wasn’t able to get what he wanted.
Her whole life had turned sour still she wasn’t able to leave and decided to stay by his side until the day he recognized her.
On a unfaithful day, Lily announced to him that she was pregnant with his child causing him to be extremely thrilled, she could see how happy he was ti have an heir and she wished she was the one who was able to give him that. Little did she know that he would try to give Lily the title of the Luna causing her to be by his side being the exceptional one amongst them. She couldn’t accept that so she make her ways to eliminate her and keep her out of her way because she wanted to be the only one by his side.
These past few days her prayers were slowly coming true and he was beginning to confide in her and want her which made her feel good again but all that has gone to the drain now that he was dead. There was nothing she could live for anymore.
She found a rod just a few distance away from her and she picked it up,
“What was her life without Alpha Reid?”
She asked herself and pierced her heart with the rod killing herself as she laid by his side.

Ashton and Hava had gone far beyond the borders of the Dark moon pack to avoid being seen by the attackers of the pack.
“Where are we going to Ashton?” She asked unfamiliar with the roads.
“To a safe place” he said, Ashton I rented to carry her away from all the chaos going on and give her a peaceful life that she deserved.
“But I want to go home?” She complained pulling her hands from his.
“You want to go back there” Ashton asked thinking she was referring to the Dark moon pack. They had just left there because it was ruins, how could she want to go back to it.
“No, I want to go home to my father, to my family” she said.
Hava had been so far away from home that she was missing her parents and wanted to be with them again, she knew they would be happy to see her and welcome her with open arms as always.
“Oh” He remarked, Ashton had never thought of returning to the Crescent moon pack after the discussion he had with Alpha Nathan when he was still an omega, how he forced him to give up on Hava and claim he would never be an Alpha even when he didn’t want the title.
“I really want to go back Ashton, we could start our peaceful life there in the pack” she said holding his jags trying to persuade him to agree with her.
“But I don’t think your father would accept me” he said.
“He will, my father would do anything for me and if it means accepting you then he will also do that for me.
Please, I just want to see them again and be with them. We can be reunited as one family” she had tarnished his dreams of being alone with her and start a family with their child quietly. Ashton had always wanted a simple life where he could live peacefully with her and not have to worry about anything.
“Please” she pleaded with puppy eyes.
“Okay” he finally gave in to her request and she beamed happily as they returned back to the Crescent moon pack.
