Bella returned back to Coast’s chambers but she couldn’t find him there, she checked his office and he was no where to be found.
She decided to read a book to passing time, ‘who cared if he came back’ she thought to herself.
After waiting for another while she heard his voice but it sounded more like groan. She followed it until she got a room secluded from others. Hearing his voice again, she was certain something was wrong, she quickly open the door and found him kneeling on the floor.
A pair of green eyes turned to her and she was terrified to the bone from seeing it, she watched it drag its claws on Coast’s body and yet he didn’t fight back.
She moved closer to him and touched him, Coast could feel a hand on his shoulders and he looked up surprised to see Bella.
“How did she get here” he thought to himself, the sirens tried to harm her as he watched one aiming to dig its claws into her back. He let out a dark roar and held her tightly, they could hurt him but not her.
With the presence of Bella, the fight became more intense, Coast had found a reason to fight back giving them a new surge to attack him more.
Since they were shapeless creatures, all Coast could do was claw them and they would disappear but that didn’t mean they wouldn’t come back again. He kept on trying to defend Bella until he was completely weak, the torture he had gotten from before had taken a toll on him, he could hardly hold himself and almost collapsed.
Bella hid her face in his chest while closing her eyes in fear, she had never seen such creatures and wished she could get away from them. The door was sealed shut after she walked in and there was no way she could see through the darkness to open the door again.
“Coast” she called his name and he was surprised, his attention changed from the sirens to her and he missed the siren which tore his hand.
“Please get us out of here” she requested shivering in his arms, Alpha Coast tried all he could but they wouldn’t let him go nor allow him to move an inch, the constant attack became more faster and he could barely keep up this time.
His knees knocked out and he fell to the ground, Bella almost hit her head on the ground from the share fall but he kept his hand under head to prevent that. He closed his eyes even if for a second to not see the sirens anymore and it worked.
“Did he just pass out at a time like this” Bella asked puzzled, his eyes were sealed shut and they wouldn’t dare to open again.
A siren got closer to her and she would see its green eyes staring directly at her, she tried to look away claiming they weren’t real. Once she opened her eyes, a siren was so close to Coast ready to dig his claws into her neck.
“Stay away from my mate” she lost control and fire erupted around her burning the creatures close to her.
She helped Coast up and opened the door, the sirens wouldn’t dare to touch them after seeing the fire revolving around her and Cane, once they were out Bella was back to her normal self.
“Thank you” she said to her wolf Diamond, it was because of her powers that they were able to get out of there.
She dragged Alpha Coast lifeless body until they got to his chambers, she gently placed him on the bed and flinched when she took it his shirt. The wounds on his body were dreadful to see,
“Why didn’t you fight back” she muttered to him but he was long gone in his sleep. She touched his head and he was damn hot.
“Another fever” she emphasized tired of him trying to make himself sick as if he were some human.
Since it was late in the night, they were no omega’s around in the kitchen, she could quickly get what she wanted without having so many uncomfortable stares of shock on her.
She picked up a pack of ice and went back to his room, she found Alpha coast sleeping on the floor and she couldn’t help but laugh. He had rolled off the bed and fallen to the ground.
“Such a big baby” she said.
She sat him up by the bed and dragged him by the hand until his back was on the bed then she carried his leg and he was now lying comfortably on the bed.
Placing the ice pack on his head, Alpha Coast folded his lips licking them. She saw his movement and her eyes were now on his succulent pink lips. Wondering how sweet they tasted, she wished to have a little taste.
She drew closer to him until she was just an inch away from him, it was then she regained herself and tried to get off the bed when he opened his eyes and caught her red-handed.
Alpha Coast didn’t waste any minute and he crashed his lips on hers, Bella’s eyes opened in shock. He closed his eyes and whispered something that only she could hear.
“Please don’t leave me Bella, I can’t live without you” he muttered.
Bella felt her heart flustered just by his words and her face turned red.
“Why is it so hot in here” she blew some air to her face with her hands to cool down the steams.
Bella stayed by his side for a while before she decided to give him some space and return to her house for the night, she gazed at him one last time and attempted to stand up. A pair of hands pulled her down and she fell on Coast’s sturdy chest, he wrapped his hands around her snuggling her into his tight embrace.
“Please don’t leave” he whispered and slept off again.
Bella could feel tingles in her body from being close to him, she felt like her head would explode in excitement, she closed her eyes and let the darkness engulf her too.

The morning was crisp and clear and Bella woke up in Alpha Coast’s arms, she crept off the bed and walked out to make it look like she was never there in the first place. She closed the door and turned when she saw Gamma Lucian staring at her.
“Is he still sleeping?” He asked, he had something he wanted to discuss with him.
“Yes” she nodded her head in response and he raised a brow.
“Did you keep him up all night?” He teased.
Bella bluntly ignored the question keeping a serious face,
“What did you come to see him for?” She asked and he smiled.
“Acting like the Luna you supposed to be” he added.
“No, I need to talk to you about something, let’s go to my house” she said and led the way as they walked out.
Bella gave him a cup of coffee and sat opposite him,
“What is it you will like to talk about?” He went straight to the point.
“The room at the end of the hall, what are those creatures?” She asked him.
“They are called Sirens, they have been trapped in that room for a long time” he relayed to her, if she already knew about it then he was certain that it was Alpha Coast’s fault, he might as well just tell her the whole truth.
“How did they get there?” She asked surprised.
“They were there during his father’s reign, they tortured his father and now they are torturing him” he answered her.
Bella thought about it, why would they torture him, what exactly did he do to deserve such thing. If Diamond hadn’t intervened that night then she was sure she would be a victim of them too.
“Why him?” She inquired more concerned about it.
“You can ask him directly, he will tell you about it more than I do but know that he only goes there when he is in so much pain” Lucian said staring intently at her neck.
“What is it?” She noticed his stare.
“You guys much have done a lot last night, you have love bites all over your neck” he said laughing. Bella immediately ran to the mirror and he was right, there were about a dozen marks of kisses on her neck.
“Shit” she grunted, how could she not have felt it while sleeping.
