Alpha Coast woke up feeling lonely, the absence of Bella in his arms affected him. His brain played everything that happened last night.
He woke up in the middle of the night with Bella in his arms, she had turned her face towards him, she looked so beautiful while she slept and he couldn’t help but watch her with a soft affection on his face.
Her thick lashes and perfectly pointed nose, he looked down on her lips and smiled. She snuggled closer to him wrapping her hands around his waist, he could feel his heart pumping faster than before.
He leaned down to kissed her neck and she let out a soft moan making him continue, after he was done with the amount of bites he had left on her neck. He stole a kiss from her then went back to sleep.

A young boy suddenly walked into Bella’s home while she was reading a book.
“Luther” she called his name and hugged him, he had grown a bit bigger from the last time they met. The boy smiled at her looking quite happy to see his savior, the woman who had saved him from getting killed by the Alpha along with his fellow pack members.
“Have you eaten?” She asked and he shaked his head, he escaped quite early in the morning to come and see her.
“Would you love to have toast?” She inquired.
“Yes please” he answered respectfully and she made some and dropped it in front of him. Watching him eat, she felt her heart melt, aside from looking like her brother Nathan, he also ate like him baffling her by what more things could he actually do that would be similar.
Luther ate it all in a few minutes and lifted up plate to her, “More please” he peaked his big brown eyes at her and she couldn’t help but laugh, it was the same thing Nathan did to their mother.
She gave him more toast and he ate willingly until he was stuffed.
“Thank you ma’am, I have to go now” he wiped his mouth and bowed to her.
“Luna, you will address her as the Luna” a cold voice spoke walking through the door, once Luther saw him, he quickly ran and hid behind Bella.
“Must you scare the child?” she reprimanded him.
“It is not my fault that he is scared of me, besides I get that all the time. I wonder why you aren’t scared of me” he questioned.
Alpha Coast had quite a reputation of being strict and dangerous but somehow Bella never saw him as any of that and always challenged him all the time.
Bella turned to Luther and gently touched his face,
“You are right to be scared of this man, he is wicked and harsh, anytime you see him make sure to run away” she instructed and he nodded his head. She didn’t want him to fall a victim to the harsh treatment of Alpha Coast.
“Ouch, aren’t you turning me into a demon to the boy” Alpha Coast crossed his leg watching her throw her affection on the boy, an affection he also wanted from her.
“Glad you get my point, aren’t you a demon?” She answered and his eyes became dim in anger. He stood up, grabbed the boy by the collar despite Bella trying to stop him.
Luther was already crying at this moment, he didn’t want to get closer to him.
“Drop him down” Bella ordered.
“Why, why do you care so much for the boy and not me” he asked grumpily.
“Because he is human and has a heart of which you actually don’t” she yelled and grabbed Luther from his grasp.
“Are you okay?” She watched him tremble in her arms with tears dripping from his eyes. She wiped his tears and hugged him tightly when she was pulled away from him and dragged into the room.
“Wait for me Luther” she yelled being pulled away.
Alpha Coast locked the door behind them and pin her to the wall, he placed her hand on his chest to let her feel his beating heart.
“What do you call this beating underneath my chest?” He raised his voice a bit, he wasn’t happy with being compared to the child and made a worse person than him.
“A cold and dead heart” Bella sharply answered without thinking about the consequences of her words.
“A dead heart!” He thought he hadn’t heard her well, he furrowed his brows looking down at her.
“Yes” she replied.
“Would a dead heart beat this fast just for you?” He asked and Bella was dumbfounded, she couldn’t utter a single word after he said that.
She touched his chest against and she could feel his heart beating faster, somehow it also affected her and she could feel her heart skip. She looked up to Coast and he still had a frown on his face.
“I don’t care about your beating heart” she slid underneath his hands and stood behind him folding her hands.
“I have a request to ask” she quickly changed the topic.
Alpha Coast understood what she was doing and he reluctantly played along, “What is your request?” he asked turning to her.
“I want Luther to stay here with me, I can take care of him and he can be the company I never had” she said.
Alpha Coast felt a sting in his heart, the young boy was testing his patience even without trying.
“No” he blatantly refused.
“Why?”
“Because you are staying with me, you may want him as a company but can he protect you?” He asked making her eyes twitch in question.
“I don’t need your protection, I will be fine on my own” she answered.
“Says the girl who got poisoned”
“By an omega from your pack” Bella yelled back, it wasn’t Just a stranger who poisoned her but an omega from his own pack assigned to serve her.
“You are only doing this because you feel guilty that it was an omega from your pack who tried to kill me, you haven’t even found the real culprit yet” she stated.
“That’s why I want you closer to me, I can protect you if you are closer to me” he answered as he took one step to her, Bella easily moved back away from him and he felt hurt by her actions.
“Like I said, I don’t need your protection” she stated.
“The boy can’t stay here, if you don’t want any harm to come to him, send him back to the shelter he was, he can only visit but not stay” Alpha Coast commanded and she was baffled.
“You are so mean, why did I even think you would accept my request in the first place” she looked hatefully at him and opened the door.
Alpha Coast stood there for a while before he regained himself.
“Bella” he called walking out but she wasn’t in the house, he watched her walk with Luther as they chatted and laughed happily. He felt so jealous of seeing the closeness between them.
