"Are you sure of what you are asking me?" He sat back on the bed, he could see how much she was hurt from knowing the truth.
"Yes" she replied.
"Okay" he nodded his head and proceeding to changing his shirt.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked.
After Bella found out that he wasn't the culprit, she tried to figure out why he would let her think he was the one.
"It was better for you to blame a stranger than your uncle" he answered wearing a new shirt.
"Can you tell me the truth about what really happened?" she requested gazing into his brown eyes.
"As you wish" Alpha Coast obliged and kept a pillow behind her back to let her rest on it but she rather placed her head on his shoulders to listen to him.
A faint smile showed on his face from such sweet gesture before he began narrating.
"I had known your father for a while because he was a friend to my father. That fateful day he invited me over to meet his family for the first time and I agreed.
When I arrived I found your father at the mercy of a black wolf and before I could help him, his neck had already been slashed adding with the body of the woman on the floor who I assumed should be your mother.
I saw a little boy running towards him and he grabbed him, I may have let your father down but I couldn't watch him kill the boy but then I was attacked by the Gamma distracting me from helping the boy. After I had killed the wolf, I saw the boy's body being split in half.
I thought it was all over and wanted to turn away when I inhaled a perculiar scent running through the woods towards the wolf and I had to do something. You got thrown to the wall and he was about to finish what he started when I intervened and attacked him, he scurried away and left.
When you woke up, you saw my face because I was paying my last respect to your father and you thought I was the one who murdered them" He easily narrated the events that led to their meet.
"But the pack was attacked too, I saw the ruins" Bella remembered that her family wasn't the only home that was attacked.
"There was a Rogue attack that day and your uncle used that opportunity to kill your family" he explained.
"And the marriage contract" she asked.
"I wanted to do something to avenge the death of your father so I requested for a bride, specifically his daughter or I would attack his pack.
I had expected him to fight and if he couldn't then he would send his daughter to me of which I vowed to make her life a living hell before killing her in cold blood.
Little did I know that he would send you, I thought of returning you back even before you arrived but when I saw you the second time and realized that you were truly my mate, I just couldn't let you go" He replied.
Alpha Coast knew that Hava wasn't the one sent to him and he had planned to use that to attack Alpha Nathan's pack but when he saw Bella, he completely changed his mind.
"You let me blame you all these while for the death of my parents, why didn't you speak up".
Bella had accused him of killing her parents because she saw him there at the crime scene not knowing that he had actually saved her from death.
"I told you it was better to blame a stranger, your uncle was your only family and I am sure you looked up to him as your father too. I just couldn't take away the only family you had left even if you had to see him as a saint and me as the villain" he disclosed to her wrapping his hand around her waist.
Bella didn't resist his touch but what she did shocked him, she began crying all over again wetting his shirt.
Bella felt so guilty, she had hated the man who saved her almost killing him and hurting him countless times even though all he did was protect her. Now she understood why her parents were disappointed in her, she had been accusing the wrong person all these while, while the real culprit she had embraced as family.
"I should have know" she wept and he cleaned her tears. He lifted her face to him and smiled.
"How would you have known?" He asked, he had hidden the truth so well taking in all her anger all because he didn't want her to turn her back on her family, now that things had gotten out of hand and the truth was out, he swore to stick by her decisions no matter what that was.
"After all that I did to you, you still came back for me and saved me again" she said referring to the failed attempt of Alpha Nathan in almost killing her the second time.
"I tried hard to let you go, I was there when Lucian drove you out, I told myself that it was for the best and it was what you wanted but I was slowly losing my mind.
Everywhere I looked reminded me of you, it was at that point that I knew I couldn't live without you" He explained.
"When I got to the Crescent moon pack, I found your head popping out the window with Alpha Nathan's hands on your neck and I knew you were in danger. I ran as fast as I could to save you hoping that I wasn't too late" he explained.
"Did he tell you why he killed your family?" He asked her and she nodded her head.
"He didn't want my brother to be the next Alpha of the pack, he claimed only his bloodline could rule his pack" Bella says between each sobs and Coast got furious.
"How dare he say that when the title was just given to him by your father" Coast exposed and she raised her head in disbelief.
"What do you mean? Was my father the Alpha" she asked for more clarifications.
"Yes, your father was the Alpha and that was how him and my father became friends. When he met his mate, your mother, she wanted a simple life so he decided to give his title to his brother Nathan and live a peaceful life with your mother.
I am sure there was an agreement that your brother would be the next Alpha to replace him but your uncle was against it and killed them" Alpha Coast accessed it all and Bella believed every word he said.
"I wish he were dead, he would pay for what he did to my family" she sneered.
"If you want I can kill him for you" Alpha Coast was ready to do anything as far as she asked him.
"No, I want to kill him myself.
Just teach me how to do that" she replied with a cold expression on her face, he had never seen such cold look on her even when she didn't find out the truth.
"Was he given a far less hatred just because he was her mate" he thought to himself noticing that she wasn't that eager to kill him when he was the culprit but now her mind was completely made up.
"Training begins tomorrow, you should rest now.
I will be in my office if you need me" He said and she nodded.
