“What did you say?” Bella moved back to be certain of what she had just heard from her uncle, her ears were itching to know if that was really true.
“What did you say?” She asked again and he stared at her with a tainted look not uttering a word.
“You kill my parents” she said in a shocking manner and he just folded his lips in anger.
‘So she heard me’ he thought to himself thinking she wouldn’t be able to pinpoint what he had said.
“Why would I do such a thing to my family?” He denied yet she didn’t believe him, she had heard him too well to know that what she heard might have been true.
“You killed my parents” she flipped his table looking so angry and daring, the truth came in the worst way possible without giving her a chance to embrace it.
“Is that what you heard” he became all defensive.
“Don’t you dare lie to me Uncle, I heard you very well” she stated standing closer to him and breathing heavily. Finding out the truth had opened her eye and she was able to stand against her Uncle who she once thought was family.
“So what if you heard me, are you going to do anything, are you going to bring them back to life” He replied stunning her.
Bella took two steps back away from him, she hadn’t expected him to react to her like that and she didn’t know what to think or do again. She leaned weakly on the wall with tears in her eyes as she stared at Alpha Nathan, the real murderer of her family.
“What did they ever do to you to deserve that?” She yelled carrying a hint of sadness and hurt in her voice.
“You wanna know what they did to me huh?” He questioned moving closer to her while she stepped back from the wall and towards the window.
“You murdered my parents in cold blood” she muttered and he laughed showing his true self to her.
“Cold blood, your father saw it coming when he thought Little Nathan could be the future Alpha of this pack all because I didn’t have a son. Do you think I would let someone else rule a pack I had taken care of for years” he blurted out and she folded her fist in anger.
“Was that why you murdered my whole family, just so that my brother would never be Alpha. You killed them just for that” she screamed and tried to hit him when he caught her fist and dropped them down. He held her by the neck pushing her head out the window. Bella’s eyes looked down and she realized she would die a meaningless death if she fell from the window.
“What did you expect, I was so close to killing you too when that damn Alpha showed up and saved you or else you would have been dead like the rest of them” he explained and she was damn distraught.
All these while she had blamed Alpha Coast for what he did to her family not knowing that he was the one who actually saved her and the real culprit was still free moving around in the name of family.
“Now that he isn’t here, I can kill you too and that would end it all. You are already useless to me and would not be helpful to me anymore. I will get my daughter out of the predicament she is in and I will make sure to kill you first for refusing not to help her after all I have done for you” He emphasized squeezing her neck much tighter and Bella gasped for air. Her face was red and it was getting difficult to breath because of his grip on her neck.
He pulled her out from the window leaning her on the wall as he pressed harder.
“No one can take away my title except my bloodline, I could never allow a peasant like your brother try to take my title from me” he relayed to her and Bella was furious, so was Diamond.
Her eyes suddenly turned red and strength got back into her body, she held Alpha Nathan’s hand and pushed it off her neck, she twisted his hand to the back and broke it then pushed him away from her.
“You killed my family and you dared to call my brother a peasant” she said and a ice dagger formed in her hand.
She raised her hand to attack him but he grabbed her hand, he kicked her face and Bella felt to the ground hitting her head on the wall.
“I see you have powers, what kind of wolf are you?
A white wolf?
I have never killed a white wolf before and this would give me so much pleasure in doing so” he pulled out a knife from his drawers walking closer to her.
Bella watched in fear as he moved closer to her, she knew he was going to kill her so she scurried back dragging herself on the ground while he took his steps forward.
“I am guessing all this while you blamed Alpha Coast for the death of your family, such a naive little girl” he squatted in front of her keeping the knife at her neck as he enjoyed the fear coming off her.
“I will make your death swift and less painful” he said and she closed her eyes, she wanted to plead with him to let her go but she couldn’t bring herself to beg the man who killed her entire family, it would make her look weak before him.
The door flung open and a man stood there in full rage, his eyes were gunshot red and his muscles had popped out of his shirt, his once long hair flowing to his back was trimmed to his shoulder length and he was mad.
He glared at Alpha Nathan with a look of death in his eyes,
“You dared to harm my mate” Alpha Coast said.
“Mate?” the words got stuck in Alpha Nathan’s mouth as his hands shaked, he was now the one who couldn’t stop shaking in fear from seeing him.
Alpha Coast grabbed him and lifted him up in the air with his hands on his neck.
“You have some fucking nerves” he uttered punching his face with his right hand still tight on his neck.
“Alpha” Alpha Nathan called out,
Coast was much stronger than him making him look like a prey and much less of an Alpha to him.
Alpha Coast threw him and he fell on his chair breaking it to pieces, he then went over and picked up Bella in his arms,
“This is not over” he said and walked out with her in his arms. Bella’s body was still shaking and she was so hot, he wished he had come earlier to save her.
After seating comfortably in the car, he held her face in his hand,
“Are you okay?” He asked but she just stared at him with tears forming in her eyes.
She kept her head on his chest and cried,
“He killed my family” she sobbed.
Alpha Coast felt a stung in his heart, this was exactly what he was trying to avoid. He never wanted to see her cry but what could he do, he had to let her cry out her frustration. He pulled her closer to him allowing her to wet his shirt as the driver kept driving back to the Red moon pack.
Once they arrived, he picked her up in his arms again carrying her to his chambers then he placed her on the bed proceeding to prepare a bath when she held his shirt looking at him like she had something to say.
“Yes” he said softly.
“Teach me how to kill, I want to make him pay for what he had done to me” she says firmly.
Earlier when she fought with Alpha Nathan, her instincts had told her she wouldn’t be able to kill him and she believed it making her back down from the fight and surrendering herself but now she was ready to fight back, not just for her family but for his sake, he had protected her from the truth all these while taking in all her anger and hatred, she had to atleast try for him.
