Bella and Elaine got to the Kitchen arranging the things they would need, Elaine was super excited that Bella couldn't help but ask.
"Are you really okay?" She wondered if she was just acting that way because of her or if she had really put what happened to her an hour ago behind her.
"The joy of being with you supersede my pain" Elaine answered, she looked up to Bella as a woman she wanted to be, strong and fierce and doesn't back down in the sight of an Alpha.
"I am glad that you are okay" she replied, they sat down waiting for the food as they kept on discussing.
"How is Alpha Coast like, I just notice he is not as bad as he thought" Elaine stated, her impression of Alphas was that they were abuser and hated weak women like her, after today she changed her thoughts about him.
"I just figured that out too recently, when I first saw him I blamed his for the death of my parents because of the misunderstanding I saw but now I see him differently" Bella answered.
"Do you still hate him?" She asked.
Bella relaxed on the chair folding her arms, "To tell you the truth, I never hated him as much as I thought I did, my mind was made up that he was evil but my heart yearned for him. I was blinded by revenge that I never listened to my heart" Bella answered her as she smiled.
It was at that moment she was able to let out that she had feelings for Alpha Coast but she covered them so well, there were many instances between them that she felt safe with him, she wanted to be with him, she would care for him and protect him but her mind easily took over reminding her that he was her parent's murderer.
Elaine listened to everything she said and blurted out her conclusion, "You are in love with him aren't you?" She asked, and Bella slightly nodded her head.
"A little, he is quite hard to look past" Bella answered.
"Enough of me, how about your mate Arthur, is he taking good care of you?" Bella asked her feeling like a protective sister who was accessing her sister's man.
"After all that I had been through, I had never thought that I would trust a man or even fall for a man, I had made up my mind to reject my mate if I ever found him but when I saw him all that changed.
He protected me from the first day he saw me and I was lost, I couldn't hate him because he had already showed me he was different by the actions he made.
I don't regret ever being with him because he is the best thing that ever happened to me" She disclosed her feeling lucky that she had Arthur as her mate.
"It feels good to share this kind of information with someone who understands me, why haven't we done this before" Bella found peace while chatting with Elaine, it was connection she has never had with anyone else except Coast.
"That's your fault, you segregated yourself making it impossible to approach you" Elaine answered as they prepared the dining room for the food to be served.
"That's not true, I just had a lot on my mind and I still do though.
But it was nice sharing this with you" Bella stated and they smiled at each other.
Alpha Coast and Beta Arthur appeared at the same time taking their seats with plates of food in front of them.
Alpha Coast was about to take a bite when a voice spoke,
"Got room for two more" Gamma Lucian said walking in with his mate, Denise.
They immediately knew she was his mate as he introduced her to them,
Denise greeted them respectfully taking a seat beside Lucian.
"Tell me Denise, how did you meet the Gamma?" Bella began the conversation while they ate.
"Actually he found me" she answered,
"Well our mates do have a way of finding us all" Bella stated referring to how Alpha Coast demanded for a bride and it turned out to be his mate and how Arthur found Elaine by the border wounded and protected her.
"No, he is not my mate" Denise immediately blurted out and they were shocked, Elaine almost choked on her food. They knew Gamma Lucian would never bring a woman who he had no connection with to the castle, they were now confused about who she really was to him but the men understood that Lucian hadn't gotten the courage to tell her the truth.
"But I thought..." Alpha Coast held her hand underneath the table and she understood that there was something wrong so she kept quiet, he had given her a signal that he would explain it to her later.
Elaine thought Bella was going to ask the same question that she wanted to ask but when she didn't hear her speak anymore she opted to ask in her place,
"Are you not..."
"Babe, this food is really good" Arthur cut her off and she paused forgetting the Question, the room became silent and awkward that Alpha Coast couldn't help but speak.
"How did you find her Lucian?" He asked him, he could notice the sad face Lucian had just by being rejected by his mate even though she didn't know that she was his mate. He had thought that they had a bit of connection after the times he often visited her but he was so surprised that she immediately denied him.
"She was looking for refuge and I helped her" he replied.
"You really have a nice heart to help strangers" Arthur teased making jest of him, it was something he knew Lucian would do to him if he was in the same situation.
"I do" Lucian answered facing him with a fake smile carrying a threat along with it that Coast and Arthur understood.
"Let him be Arthur" Coast reprimanded him.
He had Bella's little hand in his as he smiled at her, he had waited for her to finish eating so that he could hold her hand.
She didn't resist him and let him do what he wanted making him happy.
After breakfast, Bella beamed happily while she sat on the bed and he noticed it.
"You seem happy today, what's the reason?" He asked, he had just had a rough day by dealing with an Alpha who tried to force himself on his Beta's mate.
"Well I have a lot of reasons to be happy today" she disclosed to him and he hoped to be one of those reasons.
"Tell me about them?" He asked.
"I had a chance to speak to Elaine today and we shared a lot to each other, I actually felt relieved talking to her" She answered.
"Is that all?"
That wasn't the answer he expected but it was nice to hear that she had made a friend.
"And I was able to meet Gamma Lucian's mate today, she is his mate right?" She asked to be certain.
"Yes she is but she doesn't know it, she is human and has no idea about it" He answered.
"So that's why she seemed off, I could tell that she wasn't a wolf" Bella suggested.
"Is that all?" He asked again.
"Hmm, let's see.
I got to see my mate defend his Beta just like a good Alpha, you were awesome" she raised her thumb to him and he tried to bite it.
"Hey, you just ate" she quickly retracted her hand.
"What if I am still hungry" he indicated flirting with her.
"Well that is not my problem Alpha, I cannot cook for you until it is lunch time so you will have to wait a bit longer" she stated.
"I don't want that, I want something more" He hinted pulling her up from the bed and closer to him.
She stared deeply in his eyes and was mesmerized by him, his dark brown eyes fitted perfectly with his face, she wished to run her hands through his hair and let him kiss her body. She wanted his hands on every part of her body while he gave her pleasure.
"What kind of food do you want" she whispered to him.
"You" he boldly said and her heart began beating faster, this was what she wanted but she couldn't own up to it.
She smiled and pecked his cheeks then ran out of the room leaving him shocked.
"You can run Bella but you can't hide" he stated knowing she was shy about it but he could tell that she also wanted him because he had smelled her arousal.
