A brown set of eyes stared at Bella as she slept, it was full of admiration and longing.
Alpha Coast sat there watching her like his whole world revolved around her, Bella could feel her body heat up and she immediately woke up, once she saw him she frowned.
"What are you doing here?" She asked harshly, she avoided his gaze even though his was knitted tightly on her.
"Can we talk?" He said too calmly, he knew what he was facing and he couldn't afford to get her angry than what his presence had done already.
Bella sat up, crossed her arms and stared back at him with a serious look on her face.
"What is there to talk about?" She asked avoiding the fact that he spoke calmly to her so she replied harshly.
Alpha Coast sighed, he had stayed up all night thinking about what to say to her but now that he was with her, the words suddenly got lost and he couldn't utter anything.
"I" he opened his mouth and could bear out just one word.
"I what?" She replied eagerly, she wished to have the conversation done with.
"I know you are mad at me for what I did and I get it but could you try to listen to what I have to say before you judge me" he requested of her. Bella had always been the harsh one with words between them, she let out whatever was in her mind without a slightest thought and he blamed himself for being too soft on her to let that happen.
"Did you or did you not kill your father in cold blood?" She questioned him causing him to stare blankly at her.
Coast was at the verge of explaining things to her when she shocked him with such a direct question.
He wished he didn't have to answer but she kept waiting quietly for him to answer, this was actually the first time she had listened carefully to him after she found out the truth.
'Was she expecting him to say yes' he thought.
"Aren't you going to answer?" she asked him again and he twisted his lips in anger.
"Did she have to make the question so direct making him look bad" he thought.
"I did" he answered and she drew away from him, Coast watched her reaction with weary eyes, she was acting repulsive to him and he hated it.
"What kind of son would kill his father in cold blood" she stated and he bent his head down in Shame, when she arranged the words like that he already felt that she had painted him black in her mind.
"Could you please listen to me" he pleaded, he wanted to clear her thought of him but he doubted if they would actually work, she looked like she wouldn't care about anything he said.
"Okay, I am listening" she knotted her lips together and raised her eyes up.
"I didn't mean to kill him" he explained himself,
"Yeah, the same way you didn't mean to kill Denise earlier if I hadn't stopped you" she reacted and he got mad.
"Bella listen to me" he yelled at her clenching his fist, why did she always have to do that, ruin every single moment he had in trying to explain himself.
"Why, so that you can cover the truth up with another lie.
You know I have had enough of you acting like you were the victim, are you trying to act weak so that I can look past what you had really done.
Do you think I will change my thoughts about you, you are nothing but a cold blooded monster" she cursed at him.
Alpha Coast lost it and he pinned her down to the bed,
"I swear, I am really at my best behavior right now and you are just trying to tick me off, don't think that because you are my mate they I would actually allow you to walk all over me" he warned her.
She was overstepping her boundaries by thinking that he would never harm her.
"Go ahead then, kill me like you killed your father" she whispered daring him, he could feel his blood boiling and he just wanted to seal her lips so that she would stop talking.
"What are you waiting for?
Kill a weak and defenseless girl lying underneath you at your mercy.
How did you kill your father though?
Did you slash his neck, stab his heart or did you go for the big leagues by burning him with fire?" She said fueling his anger up a notch, Alpha Coast just couldn't take it anymore and he raised him hand to hit her and she covered her face in fear and that was when he stopped mid-air, this was not what he planned to do, he had gone there to talk to her and not fight with her, she might be making him get mad but he couldn't lose control of himself and be a beast in front of her.
He pulled back from her and took a deep breath,
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to do that" he apologized.
Bella got up from the bed laughing,
"I must be out of my mind, I am sorry Alpha but your apology is not worth it, please leave my room" she pointed at the open door.
"I can't leave now, I haven't said what I wanted to say?" He objected.
"I think your actions spoke louder than your words, please leave" she requested and he slowly stood up.
Refusing to go would only end up in another argument and he wasn't ready for that. He walked out of the door and she locked it right after he left.

Alpha Coast didn't return back to the castle after his fight with Bella, he got so annoyed that he went out for a sprint in the woods.
He took off his clothes so that he could have something to wear while coming back,
He changed into his wolf Knight and they ran ahead with no direction.
He just wanted to be away from it all, he felt suffocated after talking to Bella and he wished him to let his anger all out, he sometimes wondered why his mate of all people was always harsh to him when he did something wrong.
"Relax Coast, she will forgive us eventually" Knight his wolf said.
"When, she wasn't able to forgive me last time even when I wasn't the culprit and you think this time would be different" he answered, he knew Bella too well to actually believe that she would forgive him so easily, he had tried last time and no matter how close they were she never admitted to forgiving him.
"Once we get to explain what really happens then she will forgive us" Knight answered.
"Does it have to be that way, do I have to explain before she could open her heart to me, I am her mate for damn sake, she should have a soft spot for me, no matter how angry or what I did she should forgive me" he yelled back frustrated.
"If I were in her position I would forgive her, I could never stay mad at her irrespective of what she's done but why does she have to be so cruel to me.
All I wanted was to talk to her and make her see that I am not as bad as she claims me to be" He sounded broken.
Bella's actions hurt him, it took him a lot of courage to speak to her but she just wouldn't listen to him.
"I know but you should try to understand her too,
From the first moment she saw you, she believed you were the one who murdered her family, she had so much hatred for you that she couldn't believe you. After she found out that you weren't the victim, the hatred didn't just go away but it was transferred to the main culprit but that doesn't mean that it was all gone.
Now that she knows the truth about our past, that same hatred she had suppressed finally came back" Knight explained to him thinking far beyond his horizon.
"So you are saying that she still hates me?" Coast asked.
"Yes, before No.
Finding out the truth just made her mad and to think that she heard the news from someone else after she had asked you several times to tell her.
You are partly at fault for this if not fully" Knight transferred all the blame to him.
"Oh really, so the other part belongs to who" he asked back groaning in anger.
"Well to the sirens who actually told her the truth making her mad.
If they had kept their mouth shut then none of this would have happened, I am still yet to see my mate but your constant fight with Bella makes it longer than expected" Knight expressed his depression in not being to meet Bella's wolf, she had always wanted to meet her and touch her but things were harder than he thought.
"I'm sorry pal, I will settle this sooner and give you a chance to meet her.
But for now I am still mad that she can always be like that whenever I do something wrong, is she expecting me to be mr nice guy, how does she think I became the Alpha, the world is cruel as it is and no one is nice anymore" Coast yelled.
"Bella also has a lot to handle, watching her family die made her lose trust in everyone. She wouldn't have believed it was her uncle who killed her family if you had told her the truth" Knight replied.
"Whatever man, I am done trying to explain myself all the time, if she doesn't want to forgive me then it is fine but I will no longer cling to her to listen to me.
I am so done with that" Coast decided.
He was tired of having to explain himself each to Bella,
"Does she have to be so judging all the time, I would forgive her if she were in my position" he continued.
Alpha Coast had sworn with his life to always try to protect her and understand her irrespective of her flaws but she never did the same for him.
"Give it time, I believe this time she will forgive us, I am with you if you say you don't want to explain what happened anymore but what we have to handle now is to get rid of the sirens and bring back our Gamma's mate" Knight instructed him.
"I know and I am working on that, I just need a little bit of time to find a solution, I don't want it to have to go down to burning the body like last time" he replied.
"You are right, I didn't like that idea either but I am sure Lucian can get to her much better than any of us could, besides she is his mate" Knight stated.
"If there is anyone who could get to her then it would be him, I hope I find a solution before he is killed by them" Coast replied and they returned back after the long discussion.
Alpha Coast stared at Bella's home again with sadness all over him, he wished she open the door and yell that she had forgiven him but he knew it was just a dream.
He turned towards the Castle.
