At Dark moon pack, Rebecca walked into Alpha Reid's office without notice and took a seat in front of him.
"What do you want Rebecca, speak and leave before i lose my patience" he groaned in anger of just seeing her face, he knew she was going with the same old nonsense claiming she was supposed to be the Luna and not Lily.
"I am just here to help you Alpha besides if I don't help you then who will" she insinuated with a smile on her face. Ever since she found out that Lily's child wasn't his but rather his chief guard, she has been feeling so good about it.
"What kind of help are you talking about?" He asked, she looked like she was up to something and he was ready to deal with her if she dared to try anything funny.
"Just a little help to make you see things better, I know you are eagerly waiting for your child to come to this world but have you ever sat to think why only Lily got pregnant for you?" She asked the question cockily raising her head with a devious smile on his face. She wanted him to see reasons why the child was carrying might not actually be his.
"What nonsense are you blabbing on about, is this your new scheme to get the Luna title.
You want to claim the child isn't mine" He asked not believing her.
Alpha Reid was too eager to have an heir that he couldn't think about anything else except the child being his, he needed an heir so badly and if Lily was going to give him one then so be it.
"I mean you have been sleeping with us for years and yet no child and all of a sudden Lily is pregnant, isn't that suspicious to you" she stated again, she was eager to see the doubt on his face making him rethink if the child was his bit there was none.
"There is nothing suspicious about being pregnant, just because you weren't able to get pregnant doesn't mean that others couldn't.
You have been bringing all sorts if nonsense from the moment Lily became pregnant, I am getting sick and tired of you that I don't know what to do with you anymore.
If I hear anymore of this nonsense Rebecca then I won't hesitate to lock you up, you should be the most sensible one among them all but here you are spewing rubbish each time you open that big mouth of yours.
Get out of my office" Alpha Reid snapped in anger much to her disappointment, she wanted to tell him the whole truth immediately but then kept quite about it, she still had Lily to threaten with the truth and it would be fun to see her bend to her.
Standing by the door was Lily covering her mouth in shock, she had heard the hike conversation from the moment Rebecca walked in and she knew she was up to something.
She ran back to her room before getting caught by any of them as she contemplated.
"No, she couldn't possibly know the truth" she doubted, her heart was beating so fast and she smiled as in total fear. She couldn't point out if Rebecca knew the truth or not.
"But what if she know the truth" she said pacing back and forth thinking about it, her stress level was so her and she was panicking.
She thought about the consequences she would face if Rebecca knew the truth about her child, after the recent things she had done to her and the foul play she had just attempted with Alpha Reid, she could tell that if Rebecca knew the truth then she wouldn't keep her mouth shut and would actually spill it.
Lily was lucky that Alpha Reid didn't suspect a thing but she began to think about the worst if he actually tried to investigate.
"No, it can't be.
Who could have told her" she questioned herself, only her and Richard knew the real father of the child and Richard wouldn't dare tell anyone because he knew the consequences of that. She was very thorough with her meeting with Richard that no one had actually seen her, she was confident that no one did.
"Did she follow me?" She asked herself in worry, she may have thought she was perfect in covering herself from everyone but maybe not Rebecca who must have followed her when she went to visit Richard a few times.
"No, I was very sure" she dismissed that thought knowing Rebecca couldn't have found out that way.
"Did Richard tell her the truth to her back at me,
No, he can't do that, he still loves me and wouldn't do anything to harm me" she stated, she doubted if Richard would do such a thing to her like spilling the truth to Rebecca just because she rejected him.
He loved her so much to even think of doing that to her or so she thought.
Trying to find out how Rebecca found out the truth was making her go crazy, she wax totally confused and lost on what to do.
Actually when she heard their conversation, she had thought the Alpha was going to summon her immediately to find out if what Rebecca was insinuating was actually true but she was glad that he didn't believe her. He was too eager to have a child that he immediately took her side despite the fact that the truth was right in front of him.
Lily couldn't take it anymore and needed to know if Rebecca knew the truth or not, she braced herself to confront her as she stormed out of her room and towards hers.
Rebecca heard a knock on her door and she knew extremely well that it was Lily, she had expected her some minutes earlier she knew she was eavesdropping on her conversation with the Alpha but either way she still came.
She opened the door and found Lily looking worried but trying hide it from her.
"How may I help you Lily?" She asked letting her into the room.
"What was that nonsense you were saying to the Alpha about the child not being his, Is that the next dirty game you have in mind just so that you could be the Luna" Lily sounded furious, it was better to act mad than to make Rebecca know she was shaking underneath.
"Why do you think I was spewing nonsense" Rebecca replied back toying with her. The fear in her eyes was evident and she knew she was scared deep down.
'Does she really know the truth' Lily thought to herself,
"Yes, you were spewing nonsense, this child belongs to the Alpha and we all know that" Lily replied.
"Are you sure it's the Alpha's baby or not someone else's?" Rebecca asked circling her,
Lily was totally confused, she needed to be sure if Rebecca knew the whole truth and exactly who the father was.
"Whose child would it be then?" She asked back,
"You tell me" Rebecca answered.
"I am still trying to figure out how we all have been sleeping with the Alpha for years now and it is only you who turned up pregnant" she added.
"If it were you who became pregnant, you wouldn't be saying the same thing you are saying now.
So why is my own now different" Lily asked still dealing on the fact that Rebecca might not truly know the whole truth.
"You can't fool me Lily, we both know that the child doesn't belong to the Alpha" Rebecca whispered into her ears and Lily was shocked. She couldn't actually believe that Rebecca knew the truth.
"How dare you, this child belongs to the Alpha" she defended not wanting to give in at the first accusation, Rebecca might just be toying with her to get her to confess the truth to her.
"Tell me, how does the chief guard Richard feel after he betrayed the Alpha and went into one of his mistresses, does he feel regretful about it.
Is that the reason why he stopped visiting you and you stopped going to his place" Rebecca blurted her to her that she knew she everything.
Lily was distraught from finding out that Rebecca actually knew everything.
"How... How did... you find out" she stuttered in fear, things were beginning to look ugly for her and bright for Rebecca.
"You don't need to know about how I found out, what you should be more concerned about is what I could do with such information I have in my grasp right now" Rebecca teased laughing sinisterly, it gave her great joy to see Lily shiver.
"Please don't tell the Alpha, I will do anything but please don't tell him" Lily pleaded with her getting down on her knees in front of her.
"You should have thought about that when you decided to humiliate me in front of the Alpha and took away a title that is supposedly mine" Rebecca reverted and pulled away from her.
"If you want the title then I can denounce it and give it to the you, I don't mind" Lily pleaded for the sake of herself and the child.
"Do you think the Alpha sound accept that?" Rebecca asked, she had already tried to make the Alpha think that the child wasn't but he didn't believe her, If Lily suddenly denounced her Luna title then she would instantly be blamed for it and she didn't want to get on the bad side of the Alpha.
"Please don't tell him, I will do anything you say or ask me to do" she begged her and it sounded good to Rebecca.
"Anything?" she asked.
"Yes, anything" Lily replied.
"Tell the Alpha the whole truth" Rebecca answered and Lily suddenly stood up startled by her words. Here she was begging her to not tell the Alpha but she requested that she told him herself, how was that helping her in anyway.
"I can't do that" she objected.
"Would you rather I tell him because things would look much uglier for you, it would be tolerable if you told him yourself but if I did then he would be mad" Rebecca persuaded her.
Lily thought about it for a second, was it really a bright idea to tell the Alpha the truth herself, wouldn't it be the same punishment as if Rebecca told him, Alpha Reid wasn't known to be merciful and she knew about that very well.
"Okay, I will tell the Alpha myself" she stated.
"I give you three days or I will tell him instead" Rebecca warned and locked the door immediately after Lily left in despair.
"Go ahead and tell the Alpha and you would regret ever doing so" she reworded sitting on her bed as she smiled.
Lily walked slowly towards her room not knowing what to do, she now had three days to tell the Alpha the truth or things might get ugly for her. The last thing she wanted was to tell him the truth but she had no other option at the moment.
