Five hours earlier, Rebecca woke up with the radiant sun shining on her eyes, she looked around and found a man holding a knife in front of her ready to kill her.
"Do you realize what you are about to do?" She asked him but the man kept quiet as if he had been told to not communicate with her.
"Do you know what will happen when the Alpha finds me dead?" She questioned.
Once the man heard the Alpha, he had a quick reaction, he was shaken about it.
"Do you even know who I am?" She yelled at him and he shook his head in response.
Rebecca scoffed, how could they give a man who hasn't met her before the task of killing her.
"I will tell you exactly who I am,
I am the first wife of the Alpha and his special adviser which means that if anything happen to me then you would never be able to escape.
Let me give you a little hint of what would happen to you, you might think you would be able to escape after this but no, the Alpha will find you and then he would torture you, you will have your skin shed off you and burnt with fire.
Do you know how gruesomely painful that is?" She asked putting fear in the man's body, she wanted him to realize that she was important to the Alpha when in true essence she wasn't at all.
The Luna ceremony was going on without her and that just showed how insignificant she was to the Alpha.
"No one will come for you" the man boldly answered, Rebecca then knew that they had told him a few things about her.
"You think, they are already searching for me and it won't take a little while before they catch up with you" she reverted.
"Then I better get on with this" the man replied much to her surprise, he choosed to kill her immediately after her warning so that he could escape easily.
He walked to her and she stared at the knife in his in fear, she wasn't ready to die not with all the secrets that she knew.
She focused her attention towards the window and smiled which caught the man's attention.
"I told you they will come for me" she said and he looked towards the window.
Rebecca used her legs to grab the knife and she head butted the man to the ground.
She used her strength to break the chair and all that was left was the silver chains on her hand. She managed to squeeze one hand out of it and she wasted no time in stabbing the man in the chest.
She pulled out her other hand and was finally free, Rebecca ran like hell to the pack house, she had to stop the coronation at whatever cost.
Once she got closer, she found Hava and Ashton blocking her path,
"Move out of my way"'she ordered them.
"No, we can't let you sabotage this Luna ceremony" Hava objected standing her ground with Ashton.
"You told him that I know the truth right" Rebecca asked, she could see the disdain in Ashton eyes and she knew that Hava had told him everything.
Hava's silence meant yes to her and she smirked.
"Did you also tell him that I can spill the truth about the two of you to the Alpha.
Gamma Ashton, explain to me how you would try to persuade the Alpha that you hadn't gone into one of his mistresses.
I can bet he won't believe the story about you two being mates" she said laughing at them.
Ashton and Hava weren't an obstacle to her because she also knew their secret.
"We can talk about that later but for now you can't go in there and disrupt the whole event" Ashton answered her showing that he wasn't scared of her threats.
"Let me through" she warned but they wouldn't even bulge.
"Are you going to let that woman become the Luna?" Rebecca asked Hava, she thought she was her ally and was supposed to support her.
"She is carrying the Alpha's baby so she deserved it" Hava let out.
"The Alpha's baby!" Rebecca yelled furious, they didn't even know the truth about the child and they were stopping her from revealing the truth.
"That child doesn't belong to the Alpha" she barked at them throwing them into a state of confusion.
"What are you talking about?" Ashton asked her for more information.
Lily is not pregnant for the Alpha, she is pregnant for the chief guard Richard" Rebecca furthered explained to them but Ashton did not believe it.
"That's not true, you made that up" he objected.
Hava held his hand and whispered into his ears,
"Rebecca wouldn't lie about such things" she said.
"Are you sure about this?" Ashton asked her.
"Why don't you follow me in and you can find out if I am truly lying or not" she answered him and walked right past them opening the doors wide.
"I object" Rebecca yelled loudly, she could see the shock on Lily's and Richard's face as she walked towards the stage.
Alpha Reid looked so mad just from seeing her,
"What is the meaning of this Rebecca, I have told you to stop all this nonsense" he yelled at her.
Alpha Reid knew that something like this would happen and he had no one else in mind other than Rebecca, when he saw that she was missing among the guest, he had no choice than go on without her because she was a threat to the ceremony.
"I cannot let her become the Luna, she is a liar and a fraud" she let out.
"What nonsense are you talking about, stop this this instant" he warned her,
Rebecca was already ruining the event with whatever stupid reason she had, he wasn't ready to listen to it in the first place as he just stared at her in anger.
His blood was boiling and he wanted to teach her a lesson for pulling such strings at the Luna ceremony when he had strictly warned her not to.
"You have to believe me Alpha, she doesn't deserve the Luna title" Rebecca stated standing her ground against them, her eyes were firm on Lily and she wanted her to breakdown, she hated the fact that they tried to kill her in an attempt to cover up the truth.
She had been merciful to her when she gave her five days to tell the Alpha the truth, she thought Lily would be sensible enough to tell him everything but she tried to outsmart her by trying to kill her right on the day of the Luna ceremony so that the truth could die with her and she could remain the Luna.
"Guards, get her out of here" Alpha Reid ordered, he had had enough of Rebecca and demanded her out of his sight, he wasn't ready to believe any nonsense that came out of her mouth because he could bet they were all lies she was trying to say to take the title from Lily.
The only way he could actually listen to her was if she was pregnant and at the moment, Rebecca had gone beyond the stage where she could actually get pregnant, it was impossible for her to do that.
"Alpha, Atleast listen to what I have to say" Rebecca begged as three guards surrounded her about to drag her out of there.
She couldn't understand why the Alpha wouldn't give her a chance to tell him the truth about the identity of the child he thinks is his. He was blinded by having an heir that he wasn't ready to listen to anything else.
"I said get her out of here" Alpha Reid ordered.
The guard tried dragging her but she was quite stubborn and refused to leave, they had no choice than to carry her out of there.
"The child is not yours Alpha" Rebecca blurted out loudly, the whole crowd was in complete shock as they heard that, they all began whispering among themselves about themselves if it was really true.
"What did you say?"'Alpha Reid asked, Rebecca released herself from the guard and moved closer to him.
"The child Lily is carrying is not yours" she said once again to his hearing.
Lily was in a daze of having the whole truth blurted out that way, she had to do something about it.
"That's not true, this is the Alpha's Baby" she stated,
Alpha Reid's eyes were now on her and she was getting scared about it, she didn't know what to do but from the anger he had on the face she swore not to tell him the truth and by all means choosed to deny it.
"When are you going to stop lying to the Alpha, I am telling the truth and you still want to continue lying to his face" Rebecca yelled at her, she wanted her to look bad in front of everyone for all that she had done.
"I am not lying, the child really does belong to the Alpha" Lily said again.
"If it isn't my child then whose child is it?" Alpha Reid asked and Rebecca was startled that he actually believed her rather than kicking her out and claiming that she was lying.
"You are not going to believe the lies she is saying.
Alpha Reid, I can bet on my life that the child is truly yours" she screamed.
"Quiet" Alpha Reid cautioned her and everywhere became silent giving a Rebecca a chance to speak.
She looked at Richard and then pointed at him,
"The child belongs to your chief guard Richard".
The whole crowd went in a frenzy, Alpha Reid was in utter disbelief, he couldn't possibly believe that a guard he trusted so well would do such a thing to him, he could go as far as sleeping with one of his mistresses and getting her pregnant.
"She is lying" Lily yelled again and received a death stare from him, she instantly became quiet again. Her hands were shaken and anyone could tell that she was the one who was actually lying.
"Are you sure of what you are saying?" Alpha Reid asked Rebecca to be sure if what she was actually saying, he had just heard the most shocking news and he needed to know if it was actually true or not.
"Yes Alpha, I am hundred percent sure about this" she answered.
Alpha Reid got down from the stage and walked towards Richard, each step he took was long and heavy but he needed to know the whole truth.
"Is this true?" He asked Richard, the fear in his eyes was evident to him.
He then asked in his Alpha tone compelling him to say the truth.
"Is the child yours?" He asked him and the crowd went silent again to hear his answer.
Lily was wishing and praying in her heart that he would deny it.
