At the Red moon pack, Elaine waited outside for Arthur to give her a ride to the supermarket when a man walked past her slipping a letter into her bag.
Elaine was reluctant to open it but then she eventually did,
"Dear Elaine,
It's been months and I haven't seen your face, I guess I didn't create that much fear in you to make you come running to me.
Do you still think that Damn mate of yours would save from me, think about it, how do you end up getting these letters even when you think you are protected by your mate.
I will give you three days to come back to me or your mate dies" the letter stated.
After Elaine finished reading the letter, she could feel that she was being watched, her every act was being watched and that was why the letters were sent easily to her.
She had thought she would be scared after reading the letter but she felt nothing but hatred. She wished Alpha James was closer to her so that she could kill him with her bare hands and make him pay for what he had done to her.
Her one week of training with Arthur had finally paid off, those nights she spent kicking and punching, she trained herself so much making him the target of every hit. It was her soul desire to vanquish him and make him pay for what he had done to her.
"Why don't you show your face to me than send these stupid letters, let's see face to face and I will show you that I am no longer scared of you.
You can no longer put in fear because of your stupid threats, you can never see me break down because of you"
She muttered like he was closer to her to hear the words she had actually said. It was time for her to defend herself and stand her ground, she was tired of being scared of what he might do to her, to her mate Arthur. Arthur had proven to her that he could handle Alpha James and he would never be able to defeat him, she believed him and trusted that Alpha James can never harm her mate.
She looked around if she could see the man who ran past her but she saw no one she still felt like she was being watched.
A hand touched her back and she immediately turned,
"Who are you searching for?" Beta Arthur asked pulling her attention to him, when he arrived she was scanning around without noticing that he was right behind her.
"That darn idiot sent this" she pulled out the letter from her pocket and gave it to him. He read and squeezed it to pieces.
"Who gave it to you?" He asked, she looked around and that was when she saw the man from earlier hiding behind a corner, she pointed at him and Arthur immediately took to his heels chasing after him.
The man ran into a coffee shop that was still closed entering through the back door, he threw pan, plates and chairs at him but that didn't stop Arthur from pursuing him.
The man ran to the door and it was closed, he broke right through it and crashed to the ground, Arthur used that opportunity to grab him.
He punched his face three times then picked him up,
"Who sent you?" He asked though he knew exactly who did.
"You know the answer to that, he is going to kill you and take her away from you" the man answered him.
Beta Arthur was furious from hearing such information, he bore his claws out and slashed his neck to death.
A few meters away from them was a man in a green jacket watching them, after he found out that his partner was dead he walked away without looking back.
Beta Arthur returned back to Elaine waiting for him by the car,
"Are you okay?" He asked.
She saw the blood on his hand and thought it was his blood,
"You are bleeding" she pointed out.
"It's not my blood" he said and wiped it off with an handkerchief.
"Are you really okay?" He asked.
The last time she had gotten a letter from Alpha James, she was completely shaken up that he had to sing to her to sleep even though he was a rough singer.
"Yeah, I am fine.
I just wish we could end that bastard once and for all, he has done enough damage to me to still be breathing the same air as I am. I don't want to be in fear of him again, I choose not to act scared" she said and he felt proud of her.
"Your training did pay off, I never thought i would hear those words from you in a little amount of time" he stated surprised by how much she had grown.
"I am think I am ready, I am ready to face Alpha James, I want to watch him bleed to death" she muttered to him and he could see the determination in her eyes.
"Are you sure about this, are you sure you are ready to face him?" He asked to be certain, he too wanted things with Alpha James to be done and over with but he didn't want her to rush into making quick decisions out of anger. He was certain that she was angry about the letter but he didn't want her decision to be based on that but based on her confidence to face Alpha James which was quite a big determination.
"I am sure" she nodded.
"Okay then, I will talk to Alpha Coast about it" he said.

In Alpha Coast's office, Beta Arthur sat with him as they discussed.
"Elaine got a letter today from Alpha James, the same old story" he told him.
He could clearly recall that he had warned him to not hide anything from him again and he didn't wish to do that.
"How is she doing?" Alpha Coast asked worried for his mate. Elaine was once a frightful girl who was scared of Alphas but now her past had caught up to her and he wondered if she was doing well and how well she was coping with it.
"She is okay, this time she wasn't frightened by it and is okay" he replied,
Well I am glad that she is okay, she is facing her demons like we all do" Alpha Coast recommended glad that Elaine was doing better, he could tell that Arthur's fierceness had gotten to her and she didn't want to let him down by allowing him to save her all the time.
"She has been training intensively for a week and I think she is doing better" he added and Alpha Coast nodded his head, it reminded him of Bella and how eager she was to get her revenge on Alpha Nathan, she was much stronger now and is able to face him. She had trained days and night to get to exactly where she was now and Elaine was also doing the same.
"That's very good, very soon she will be able to confront him squarely" he said.
"She is ready" Arthur blurted out.
"Ready for what?" He asked.
"Ready to face Alpha James, she wants to get it done and over with" he stated according to what Elaine had determined.
"Are you sure she is ready for this, five days ago you told me she wasn't ready and now she is" he asked stunned, it was such a short space of time for Elaine to grow her confidence, it was too sudden for Alpha Coast to believe.
"Yes, that's why I am here, to get an official permission to attack Alpha James pack" he stated.
Alpha Coast folded his lips and sighed, he could feel things were going too fast but he couldn't stop them if that was what they wanted. He had threatened Alpha James when he visited that he was going to give him a war and he definitely would.
"Arrange the men, we March by dawn" he said.
"Okay Alpha"
"Arthur, don't hesitate when fighting with him" Alpha Coast advised.
"Aren't you coming with us?" He asked him.
"Of course I am but I won't be the one to kill him, my work is to destroy the pack, you and your mate are the once to face him and I won't interfere with that.
Just don't get killed" He warned him.
"I won't, I have a score to settle with him and I will make sure he pays for what he did to my mate" Arthur replied with a hint of Bloodlust in his eyes. That was the fierce Beta he knew, a man wouldn't let anyone harm what belonged to him.
Alpha Coast had see him fight with Alpha James and he could tell that Arthur was much stronger than him, he had trained him and Lucian so well.
Arthur returned to his room where he heard Bella and Elaine discussing, he just stood by the wall listening.
"Are you sure you are ready to face him or you just want him to disappear from your life forever?" Bella asked her, she also knew the feeling of wanting her revenge but it took her weeks to be able to face Alpha Nathan squarely and threaten but some of that wouldn't have been possible if Alpha Coast wasn't with her.
"Honestly, I don't know,
I feel I am ready to face him but I don't if my body and mind would take it lightly seeing his disgusting face.
I have to end the fear that I feel, I have to be strong or otherwise how would I ever be able to defend myself.
This man had hurt me Bella, he took everything away from me, he took my youth, my happiness, my sanity, I don't want him to live or breath anymore, I want him buried underneath the earth" she stated firmly.
She had made up her mind that she wouldn't stay another day knowing that Alpha James could still try to threaten her with his letters.
"How about your mate Arthur, he is risking his life to get the revenge that you deserve, are you sure you won't let him down by freezing in front of James" Bella asked.
Taking revenge was at easy, it took only the cold bloodied to actually take a life and Elaine just wasn't that tough. Bella had once tried to take her revenge on Alpha Coast when she thought he killed her parents but she just couldn't. Even now that she knows it's her Uncle murdered her family, she was still wasting some time because of the thoughts in her head.
"That's why I have to do this, I have to be strong for both him and me, Arthur has given me a reason to live and I want to show him that I appreciate that too.
I don't want him to constantly see me living in fear all because of Alpha James, he has claimed he would protect me and I believe him but I don't want to trouble him too. I shouldn't be scared of another man when I have him" she replied and Bella signed, she was now convinced that Elaine wanted Revenge more than she ever did.
Atleast she wasn't procrastinating like her and her enemy was a total stranger not hers who was actually family to her.
"I wish you good luck" she said ready to leave when Arthur stepped in.
"Luna" he greeted and she smiled.
