The news of Lily's baby being missing reached Alpha Reid's ears and he demanded Lily be brought to him.
"Where is the child?" He asked Lily kneeling in front of him,
"I will never tell you" she answered him.
Lily could never tell him where the child was because she knew he would end her child's life in a split second.
Alpha Reid got up on his feet and grabbed her by the neck lifting her up,
"Where is the child?" He asked again furious, Alpha Reid had promised to end the child's life and he planned on doing just that.
"I said I would never tell you" Lily retorted, she wasn't scared of him anymore because she knew she was going to die soon rather than die with her child she rather used her death to save the life of her child.
She just hoped Hava would be able to protect her son and keep him from harm so that the Alpha would not get to him and kill him.
"You are getting on my nerves Lily, I will ask you one last time,
Where is the boy?" He asked slowly losing his patience, he was mad that she would dare to defy him after all that she had done to him.
"Like I said, I will never tell you" She stood her ground without spilling a thing about her son to him, it was her duty to protect him, to make sure that no harm came to him. Even though she didn't know where Hava had kept the child yet she wouldn't spill that she had given him to Hava.
Alpha Reid was lost on how to make her tell him the truth, she was going to die anyways so there was no need to threaten her with death. He dropped her down and laughed.
"Do you think I would never find the child, this is my pack, my territory and believe me, I will find the boy and I will kill him. So don't think you have won Lily because I still have the upper hand here" he stated with bloodlust in his eyes, he wanted to end her bloodline to make sure that no one dared to deceive him again in such manner.
"Do your worst Alpha but you will never find my son no matter how far you search" she reworded and he nodded biting his lips.
"I want a house to house search for that baby starting from the packhouse, we might have a traitor amongst us.
If you stumble upon the child then don't hesitate to kill him immediately" Alpha Reid ordered the beta standing close to the Ashton.
"Yes Alpha" he obeyed and left his sight,
"Take her out and behead her" Alpha Reid ordered and Lily was taken out.
Lily knelt before Alpha Reid with a sword above her head, the pack members had been summoned and the few who could make it out on time were present to witness her execution.
Ashton stood in front of the crowd to stop anyone from interfering with the execution according to Alpha Reid's orders.
A handsome man dressed in a black jacket and blue jeans was among the crowd to see what was happening when he saw Lily, his body instantly froze when he saw her.
"Mate" his wolf purred.
He tried to understand why a woman who was about to be beheaded turned out to be the mate he was searching for.
His sudden urge to save her sunk into his head and he tried to break free through the crowd to get to her, he ran as fast as he could but not fast enough because Ashton grabbed him pulling his back, the man struggled to break free from Ashton but he couldn't, he was too strong for him to handle.
Lily inhaled an intoxicating scent and she searched for it, she found a gorgeous man struggling with the Gamma, after a few seconds his eyes fell on her and they were instantly locked into a deep stare.
"Mate" her wolf acknowledged him.
"How can he be our mate and why is he coming now?" Lily asked puzzled by why fate would play such a cruel trick on her.
Finding her mate at a moment like that was absurd to her, she saw that she could be of no help to the man.
First she was the mistress of the Alpha and then she fell in love with a guard, there was time to acknowledge a mate in her heart, she looked at him once again and smiled.
She turned towards Alpha Reid and she accidentally saw Rebecca by his side glaring at her,
Rebecca waved at her with a smile on her face and before she could actually do anything her head was cut off with the sharp sword.
"No" the man yelled but Ashton covered his lips she dragged him away before he could be spotted by Alpha Reid and be punished for creating a scene. Ashton dragged him away from there, with how strong he fought with him he could that the man had a deep connection with Lily.
'Perhaps he was his mate' he thought, or maybe he was a family relation who couldn't watch her die.
He dragged him to a corner and tried to calm him down.
