Alpha Reid returned to his office to find Rebecca waiting for him.
"How may I help you Rebecca?" He asked with a glad face, finding out that Hava's baby was his child and she wasn't successful in abort it makes him very happy.
"I should be asking you, why are you so thrilled.
Did you get any good news" she asked him raising her brows.
"The best news ever Rebecca" he said and sat down on his seat, he crossed his leg while playing with his fingers.
Rebecca was so curious about what happened, she could guess it had something to do with Hava because she was the reason why he left the pack house.
"What news are you talking about?" She asked him desperate to know what would make him happy in such manner after being depressed and furious by being deceived by the likes of Lily.
"Hava is pregnant" he blurted out and she was shocked.
"She is pregnant?" She asked again with doubt, it all sounded like a joke to her.
"Yes she may have tried to abort my child but she wasn't successful" he said smiling cockily.
Rebecca couldn't quite understand what was going on, first Lily was pregnant and now Hava,
'what the hell is going on' she thought.
"She is pregnant with your child?"
She asked him again and he nodded in response, Rebecca instantly scoffed, she thought Hava and Ashton were wise enough to not cross her after what happened to Lily.
"Excuse Alpha" she let out and awkward smile as she left, her main goal was to challenge Hava and figure out why she would dare make the same mistake as Lily.
"You have some damn nerves Hava, I had warned you to stay off my path" he stoned into her ward without caring if Ashton was in or not.
"Hava had no choice, she was threatened to say it" he answered instead for her.
"You should have stopped her, I had warned you two to never cross my path, I don't care if you are the Gamma I will crush you and your mate.
You two would end up like Lily if you don't fix this" she threatened them.
"We will leave so you don't have to worry about your damn Luna title" he reworded standing tall in front of her.
"You better because if you don't, then I won't hesitate to tell the Alpha and you know exactly what would happen after" she threatened them.
Rebecca was so furious, she had just tried to take away the first threat that was in her way which was Lily, she was able to sustain her Luna title and tried to get closer to Alpha Reid using his grief to get to him but all that was about to prove abortive because Alpha Reid thinks he has a second chance with a child from Hava.
"Why can't that bastard ever learn" she grunted by how gullible Alpha Reid was to believe the child was his even after what had happened last time to him.
"Rebecca" Ashton called her before she could walk out of the ward,
"The title you want so much for yourself may not be the best for you.
Do you think the Alpha would make you the Luna without a child?" He asked and she retracted her steps to face him.
"You know nothing about what I want and as for having a child, I am working on it and I will bear the true heir" she stated.
Rebecca didn't want to fall a victim like Lily and Hava by entering into a relationship that wasn't with the Alpha and bearing him a child.
She wanted to hear an heir for him and not lie to his face just so that she could be the Luna. Rebecca had always had dreams of being the Luna of the pack and staying by Alpha's Reid's side.
In the next two days, Hava decided to visit Lily when she heard her grunting and groaning, she rushed down thinking that she was in danger when she found out that her water bag just broke and she was in labour.
"Help me" Lily pleaded looking helpless, her water bag had broken five minutes ago and she struggled to push her child out but she couldn't do it on her own.
Hava ran to a guard to help her open the lock so that she could help Lily give birth but he refused without getting a direct permission was the Alpha. He was the only guard responsible for safeguarding Lily and he would be held accountable if anything happened to her or if she eventually escaped.
He only granted Hava visits because the Gamma had ordered to.
"I can't do that" he said.
Hava ran back to Lily and asked her to move closer to the bars, Lily did as she did spreading her legs out the spaces so that Hava could reach her stomach and push.
"Lily I want to push as hard as you can" Hava instructed.
"What do you think I have been doing now?" Lily yelled back, she wanted to her things over with.
"I know but you have to push harder" Hava instructed placing her hand on her stomach, she pulled down and the leg of the child cane out.
Hava pushed him back in and rearranged so that his head could be pulled out first.
"Push" she ordered and Lily did with the little strength that he had, she pushed as hard as her body could actually carry and almost passed out.
The child was not coming out and Hava panicked if she was doing the wrong thing.
"Lily listen to me, you have to push much harder than vet before if you want this child to be born alive" she encouraged her.
Lily took a deep breath and pushed with all her strength, the child's head popped out and Hava immediately grabbed him pulling him pulling him out lightly.
"He is such a handsome body" Hava commented giving the child back to Lily who held him in her arms. She was overwhelmed by having her child that she didn't notice the child hadn't cried.
"Lily, he is not crying" Hava addressed and she froze.
"What do I do" she asked thinking her son was already dead before she could know it.
"Slap his ass" Hava instructed and she did that immediately, the baby began crying in her arms and they both felt relieved that the child was alive and not dead.
"Richard" Lily muttered, she choosed to name her son after his father so that he could be remembered as him.
There was beautiful resemblance between Richard and the child, a tear drop rolled from her eyes in pain, she wished Richard was able to see his son with his own eyes and hold him in his arms. She felt remorseful for what happened to him.
A few footsteps were heard towards the dungeon and with the cry of the baby, they both knew that the child has caused attention.
"Take him and leave this place" Lily tossed her child to her.
"What?" Have was dumbstruck.
"Please Hava, don't let anything happen to my child, if the Alpha finds out about the child then he would kill him. I can't let that happen, my son is the evidence of my love for Richard and I wouldn't want him to die in a minute that he came into this world.
Please protect my child Hava" Lily pleaded with her.
"Lily, I can't..."
"Don't think I don't know that you were the one who tried to poison me" Lily blurted out and Hava was shocked, only she, Rebecca and Ashton knew about that and Ashton would never tell anyone.
"How did you find out?" She asked.
"Rebecca told me at the hospital" she replied.
"I am really sorry" Hava apologized.
"I can't accept your sorry until you get my child out of here, it is now your duty to protect him" Lily stated and pushed her away to save her child she couldn't afford to have the child killed and she could bet that a guard was coming to check on them.
The guard arrived and saw a baby in Hava's hand,
"I must tell the Alpha" the guard hurried to leave.
"Wait" Hava called him and he turned back. She walked towards him and placed the child in his hand then stole a knife from him.
She stabbed his neck and quickly grabbed the child from him before he could drop him. Hava couldn't afford to let the guard leave, it was either the child died or the guard died otherwise news of her helping Lily and take her baby away would reach the Alpha's ears through the guard. She snuck out of the dungeon without anyone seeing her.
