"I think I've found Mrs Chloe daughter"One of the young men,Chris told the others.
The way they spoke to each other was through a phone,not an ordinary but phone mainly specified for Armed force.
They had to purchase just to make sure they communicate with each other.
"Really?"Fredrick asked through the phone.
"Yeah, but I'm not really sure she is the one."Chris doubted.
"Those she looks exactly the way mrs Chloe described her?"Theo,the last of them asked.
"She is kinda short and chubby"Chris replied.
"She isn't the one,Mrs Chloe said she is tall,slim and have a scar next to her left eye"Theo replied.
"Ohh"Chris muttered.
There was Silence between the three of them until Fredrick spoke up.
"I need to go,I would see you guys later", Fredrick said and disconnected from the call.
Theo also did the same l and Chris continued his journey of finding Mrs Chloe daughter.
**Where can she possibly be?,I've searched the whole city and I'm damn tired**Chris thought.
He sat on a grass and placed his two hands on his chin.
He was tired of searching for Mrs Chloe's daughter and all what filled his mind was to quit from finding her.
"Hey"Chris heard someone said.
He turned back and saw a little girl.
She was alone and there was no one like a sister, brother or her parent with her.
"Hi, cutie"Chris replied with smiles.
"I can see you are alone on this grass,I was behind you and saw how tiredly you laid on the grass..so I brought you some food and water.",The Little girl said.
Chris was stunned,he wondered why the little girl would bring food and water for him.
Cheerfully,Chris collected the food and water,the girl smiled.
"Thanks"Chris muttered.
"You are welcome,make sure you eat it and be satisfied..so that you can continue your journey"She replied.
Chris became more surprised"How do you know that I'm going on a journey?"Chris asked.
She smiled"When you get to know me better,I would answer that question, but for now,eat and enjoy my superb meal"She replied.
"You cooked this?"Chris asked.
"Yeah,my mom taught me how to cook it because it's my favorite dish.. and anytime she goes out without taking me along,I would sneak into the kitchen and prepare it without the maid and her knowing and that's how I became perfect in it"She explained.
"Wow, you're such a bad little girl, I'm sure your mom is definitely going to give you some whooping once she finds out that you've been doing all this"Chris teased.
"If she does,she won't beat me because I'm ain't seeing her"The Little girl said.
Chris stopped eating for a while and thought about the word she just said.
"Why did you say that.. aren't you with your mom?"Chris asked.
"I'm ain't with her anymore, it's a long story though, but I'm totally fine without her and anywhere she is,she should know that I'm fine"She replied Chris and then she sat next to Chris on the grass.
The first thought that came into Chris mind when the little girl said her last statement was that*is she Mrs Chloe's daughter.
The second thought was telling him**it can't be her,she is to small to be Mrs Chloe's child.
So anxiously and with doubt he summoned the courage to ask the little girl about it.
"Your mom whom you are talking about,is she by a way bearing the name Chloe?"He asked and he noticed a change of expression on the girl's face.
"Chloe?, that's the name of my mother,do you know her?"She asked and Chris beamed.
"Yeah,I kinda..she sent me to look for you,are daughter"Chris replied
"Really?"She asked.
"But I'm not kinda sure, you are daughter though because when she described how her daughter looked like, I'm not sure you are the best description for that"Chris replied.
"I'm aren't even the one"She said with her heads down.
"Don't be sad, you are gonna see your mom one day.i was once a little kid and I once had a challenges,my mom abandoned me because she was a single mom and couldn't take care of me,I was just eight years old and I know nothing by then.. though I cried and locked myself up for a week,but then I took the courage to walk out of the apartment we had both stayed,I met two friends which we were both facing the same challenges,we all became friends and found out that we have powers, magic which no child had.
He continued"So we began to perform,go live,go for shows and that's how we all forgot our pain..so cheer up my lady, everything is gonna be fine"He concluded.
The little girl smiled and hugged him,he was surprised she did so, but he hugged her back and patted her on her back.
"Thank you so much, uncle"She said.
"I'm Chris, since you don't know my name"Chris said after disengaging from the hug.
"I'm Anabel, and it's a pleasure to meet you"She replied.
"You have such a wonderful name,I would give my first female child your name"Chris teased.
Anabel smiled"I would beat her if she doesn't calls me aunty because we are both bearing the same name"Anabel teased and they both laughed.

Suddenly,the clouds begin to change and Chris and Anabel were still on the grass.
"It's about to rain,we need to find a shelter"Anabel said with her beautiful tiny voice.
"Yeah,do you have a place you do stay when rain falls?"Chris asked.
"Yes.i do, with a good woman who loves children so much..she rear snails and fishes and she always accommodate me, and that's where I did the cup cake you ate"She replied with a smile.
"Can we go to get place and stay until the rain is gonna be over?"Chris asked.
"Yeah, let's go.. follow me"She said then stood up and began to run.
"Wait for me, Anabel"Chris said and began to run after her.
Few minutes later,Chris catched up with her and he began to breathe heavily.
"You are such a naughty girl"Chris said.
"I can't ear you,can you repeat what you said"She said in pretence and used her both hands to cover her ears.
"Let's just go"He said and they continue to walk to the place where they could get shelter.
