"So the winners of this project would be announced tomorrow, I'm pleased with all your research,so I would bring out the results tomorrow"The teacher said.
Kyle wasn't even concentrating on what she was saying,his mind was just on Melissa and he is hoping she didn't gets a detention from the principal.
"So I would be leaving your class now anf I would see you tomorrow"The teacher said and left the class.
Well,it was already closing and everyone began to walk out of the class.Kyle took his book with his bag and went out of the class.
He walks to the school hallway and walked towards the direction of his locker.
He opened it and kept some books before closing it back.
He placed his bag in his shoulder and walked to the detention room to see if she was there.
He peeped through and searched for Melissa with his eyes.
But unfortunately for him,he didn't see her which made him surprised.
**Mr Hart always give students who aren't in their various classes detention and Melissa wasn't in the class but why wasn't she given a detention**He thought.
"Are you searching for me?"He heard someone asked and at this moment Kyle didn't need a soothsayer to tell him that it was Melissa who called him.
"Were where you?"Kyle asked and she smiled.
"I wasn't given a detention by Mr Hart but instead he helped me"She replied.
"He helped you?,How?"Kyle asked.
"Well,he knew my mood and didn't gave me a detention,so he took me to an ice cream shop and bought me my favorite flavor"She narrated and Kyle was surprised.
"He took you to an ice cream shop?"Kyle asked in surprise.
"Yeah,he did and I'm so happy right now..I guess I would be seeing you tomorrow,I need to go"Melissa said and walked away leaving Kyle in confusion.
He was surprised,he couldn't just believe that Mr Hart would take Melissa to an Ice cream shop.
**This is so unbelievable**He thought and began to walk through the hallway with the same thought in his mind.
He got out of the school and went to the school's parking lot, where his car was.
He unlocked his car and entered inside it,he turned on the ignition and drove out of the school with full speed.

"I'm home mom"Kyle said as he entered his house.
"Oh sweetie, welcome back,how was school?"His mother asked as she came out of the kitchen which she was at.
"School was great today, but way to stressful"Kyle replied.
"Don't worry, you would get used to being in senior high school"His mother said.
"What abou Jenny?"He asked.
"Jenny us sleeping right now,she got back home an hour ago"His mother replied.
"She shouldn't be sleeping by now, it's too early"Kyle said.
"You should know the kind of sister you have, she's a sleepyhead"His mother replied with a smirk.
"I would be in my room"Kyle said climbing the stairs leading to his room.
"Kyle"His mom called.
"I need to have a discussion with you"His mother said.
"Discussion?"He asked.
"Yeah, it's important"His mother replied.
"You can just tell me here"Kyle said.
"It's an important issue son and you know , there are ears in the wall"His mother replied.
"Okay,I would be right back.let me drop my bag and change my clothes"He said and continue to walk through the stairs until he got to his room.
His mother watched as he goes to his room,she was just nervous to break the news to him.
The news was gonna make him never like her again,it would make him more depressed... but she has no choice than to tell him.

Melissa got home few minutes later and met her dad the same spot he was before she left for school.
She wondered why he didn't go to work today.
"I'm back Dad"She announced as she walks behind him.
"Welcome home Melissa,how was school?"He asked.
"It was good, but why didn't you go to work?"She decided to ask.
"I'm on a week leave"He replied and she was surprised.
"A leave?"She asked.
"Yeah,I took a week leave because of you"He replied and Melissa was surprised.
"For me?, Are you kidding me dad?"She asked.
"No, I'm aren't kidding you.I know you would feel weird about it because I've never told you that before",He replied and turned back and he was facing her.
Melissa just stood she didn't know what to do or say,she was just surprised on what he just said.
"I know how it sounds, but I came to think of it..I know I haven't been to best dad for you,I know I haven't been doing the work of being a dad,I just leave you alone without even taking care of you like I'm supposed to do.. I'm really sorry about that and I hope this idea is gonna make you forgive me"Her dad said and she was stunned.
She doesn't know what to say at the moment,she just kept wondering about it and it was making her emotional that her father was really saying this to her.
She moved to where he was and gave him a tight hug.
"I can't believe you are saying this to me, bur thank you so much dad"She muttered.
"You are welcome dear,go prepare so we can get going"Her father replied and they bother disengaged from the hug.
Melissa smiled and get father did the same.
She walked through the stairs leading to her room and immediately she got there she dropped her bag and went straight to her dressing room.
At this moment,she was just so happy that she didn't know the cloth she would wear.
It was something fascinating to her, but are had to believe it.
After minutes of searching for clothes to wear,she finally chose the one she would wear.
It was blue shirt and a black jean trouser..
Afterwards,she walked out of her room and went back to sitting room but she didn't see her dad.
"Dad?"She called.
"Are you looking for me?"She heard her dad ask behind her.
"You look so handsome in this dress"Melissa said making a compliment on her Dad's dress.
"Thanks for the compliment, and you look so gorgeous on this dress"Her father replied and they both smiled.
"We need to get going before it gets late"Melissa said.
"Oh, that's true"Her father spoke and they both walked out of the house.
"So whose car are we using?"Melissa asked.
"We are using my car"Her father replied with a funny tone.
They both entered his car,they tightened their seat belts and then he turned on the ignition.
"Are you ready for this ride to a shopping mall?"He ask smiling.
"Yeah, I'm absolutely ready"Melissa replied and her father drove up

"I'm tired of making research on this,I need to get a rest"Gerard said.
"Please don't sleep,we need to sort this matter"Ria replied.
"I need to rest Ria, this book is so big and confusing..it would take a week or two weeks to understand it"Gerard said.
"That's if you give up on it"Ria replied.
"I don't need your encouragement Ria, I'm not searching for anything else on this book"Gerard said.
"Please Gerard, let's continue this..I promise to help you with what you want,just help me with this"Road pleaded.
Gerard remained silently for a while.
"Nah, I'm still not helping you"He said.
"Please, please, please"She kept saying.
"Nah,Nah, Nah"He replied.
Suddenly a bright light began to shine from a little openings.
Ria was aware of it and then she tapped Gerard to take a look at it.
"What the hell is this?"Ria asked.
"I don't know, but I think it's signifying us about something which is about to happen"Gerard replied.
