The Billionaire's Architect Chapter 26

“What are you doing?” Lyuna knocked on the door as she entered. “Are you busy?”

“No. I am just recording some songs.” I told her as she sat on my bed and looked at me holding my guitar.

“Woah. Is that for a Youtube channel? Are you finally going to make one?” She said hoping that I would do it because she had been telling me to start a Youtube channel since the dawn of time after hearing me sing.

I could say that I really have a great voice and I used to join bands and singing competitions but it never occurred to me to become a famous singer or create a channel. I just want to sing for someone like Gray and some people I am close with. Also, I am already done with my dream of travelling the world because of my voice. It’s just not for me, especially that my mother will never allow me to do it. There are really things that don't seem to be for us no matter what we do. Those are only my what ifs. Now, I’ve found someone whom I can share my voice with. I planned to make songs for Gray.

“No. That’s gonna happen.”

She pouted.

“How about publishing your book?” She added.

“Well…” I shrugged. “If there’s someone that will offer me. Why not, but you know…” I glanced at Lyuna and thought about saying who really I am and where I came from but then hesitated.

“Is there anything that you want to do?” I asked her. I might treat her to something nice soon so I might as well tell her what she likes.

“I mean, something that if you have the resources, you would definitely do it.” I added and she started thinking.

“Why are you asking?”

“Nothing. Just curious.” I replied. “Maybe, a genie will hear it and make it come true for you.” I smiled at her. I am that genie so I hope she would really think about it because I am willing to do anything for her. She’s my best friend and the only person I know I could count on no matter what happens.

“Hmm…why is it hard to think? I have a lot of things I want to do.” She twitched her lips while still thinking.

“How about three things that you want to do or wish you have?” I changed the question. Well, she deserves a lot of things so I might grant her three wishes like a genie.

“I want to travel to Europe.” She told me.

“Is there any particular place in Europe you want to go?”

“Spain!” She instantly said. “You told me it was amazing there so I want to see it myself.”

That’s an easy one. I will definitely buy her tickets and travel with me when I come back home.

“The other two? What are they? Come on, think like I am a genius that will grant your wish.” I urged her to think of something really big that she herself cannot grant, especially with the use of money. Of course, I want to share my money to her and to the people because where am I going to use them? It’s not like I can bring them when I am already dead.

“I want to see The Script!” He giggled. “Like, really meet them because they are so amazing so I am really hoping I could attend one of their concerts!”

The Script? Hmm. I might ask my friends in Spain if they have connections for me to do that. Well, it’s easy. I will let our staff do it for me. I might pay for their talent fee to sing for Lyuna soon.

“How I wish I could invite them to sing at my wedding.”

I can definitely grant that wish. I smiled at myself. Lyuna should ask me for a million dollars because I might give it to her but she’s really simple and small things make her happy.

“And, lastly…” She shook her head like it was impossible for her to actually get her last wish.

“What is it?”

“I want to own a clothing line.” She finally said it.

There you go! That is what I want to hear since I also want to give her something that she will cherish forever. I knew for a fact that she really wanted to become a fashion designer, however, her family didn’t allow her to become one also due to financial problems and they thought that fashion designers in the country aren't that great. But, Lyuna never stops designing and sketching. And, sometimes she sews her own dresses.

I should start talking to my friends in Spain so they could help me start it or probably my mother. I think I need to design new buildings so she would help me with this.

“If that happens, can you do me a favor?” I asked with a happy face.

“That’s quite impossible for now, but, sure!”

“You’ll be the one to create my wedding dress.”

She giggled.

“Even if I don’t have a clothing line, I am willing to make your wedding gown so long as you are marrying Gray.” She made me promise.

“Of course. He’s the only one I want to marry.” I replied, remembering Gray.

“Don’t you have a date with him today?” She said as she boredly laid on my bed. “Dio is busy right now. Are you busy?”

“He went on a business trip for a week so we won’t be seeing each other for a while,” I replied as I turned on my computer.

“I am recording songs for him so he could listen to them at night.”

Gray spent the night with me and we slept together, just sleeping side by side, not what people think when they hear the word sleep together. And, since it was my first time really sleeping beside him because he used to sleep at the our spare room before, I learned that he couldn’t sleep without listening to songs. Instead of him listening to some bands, he should start listening to my voice so that my voice would be the last thing he’ll hear before he will go to sleep. I hope he will like it.

“Can you suggest some songs I could sing? I am making an album for him.”

“How sweet!” She giggled. “I am really happy that you finally found him.” She glanced at me and I almost teared up when I remembered how obsessed I was with Gray.

Now, we are together. Who would have thought, right? I never even foresee this but life really gives us something we don’t actually expect.

“I cannot explain my feelings, too.”

“That’s love. We cannot explain what we feel.”

“Oh. Are you done with your paperworks?” I added. “Instead of lying there, finish it.”

“What? Are you done with it?” She glared at me.

“Yes! Gray helped me last night. So, I am wasting my time right now.”

She rolled her eyes. “K. But, I want to go out! Can we go to the mall?”

“And, what are we going to do?” I raised my brows.

I am not really an outdoor person, especially if I am just going to waste my time walking around the mall when I could buy the whole mall. Should I buy Lyuna a mall so she would stop going to the mall? She really likes spending her time window shopping.

“Wait, do you have a problem?” I said when I realized that something is bothering her.

“Dio and I fought.” She sadly replied and started talking about her boyfriend. “Well, we fight sometimes, but this one is really a big fight and…”

Before she could continue what she was thinking, I pulled her up on my bed.

“Let’s go shopping. Don’t cry! I don’t want to see you crying and I will also not listen to your story for now. Tell me when you have already settled it.”

She pouted. “C’mon. Aren’t you gonna say something? Don’t you wanna hear it?”

I shook my head. “We’ll drink it later, but we will go shopping so fix yourself and I will buy you everything you want.”

She wiped her tears and her eyes widened.

“I thought you didn't have money.”

Oh! She doesn’t have any idea how much money I have in my bank that I don’t even know how to spend it. Should I really buy her a mall?

“I have for you, to make you happy, so don’t cry!” I pushed her out of my room. “Get dressed and we’ll go in a minute.”

“I love you, girl.” She was about to cry when I pushed her again.

“I love you, so go!”

After a minute, we were both ready to go to the mall. Since, I am pretending to be a low-key and someone that came from a normal middle class family, I don’t have a car. I enjoyed commuting, too, since I could meet a lot of people and I could get some ideas for my stories.

Although, I felt like buying now.

“Let’s buy a car!” I told her as we entered the mall.

“What?” She blinked. “I thought we are just going to do some shopping like dress, but a car? Are you serious?”

Lyuna widened her eyes when I nodded.

“You are serious about buying a car?”

“I will buy you a car if you want to,” I suggested. “Let me buy you a car.” I pulled her and we went out of the mall to walk to the nearest car shop.

“You are not kidding? Where did you get the money to buy this?”

For a second, I thought of telling her who really I am but that would be for next time.

“My mother gave me some money to spend and I’ve been keeping it so I guess I can buy myself and you a car.”

“I will not accept it!” She shook her head. “That’s too much! You should keep your money for emergencies.”

“This is an emergency!” I joked. “C’mon. Let me do this for you!” I pleaded. “You’ve been very supportive and were always there for you. I am not really good at comforting you, so how about I just buy you a car and we drive together?”

Lyuna shook her head and really tried her best to convince me not to buy her a car but I have decided.

“Okay, fine!” She stopped. “Buy me a not so expensive car. Just hundreds and no to million!” She said to me.

I nodded. “Deal.”

“I cannot believe we are shopping for a car!”

“We are also going out of town, so you better get ready!” I winked. “Go tell your department head that we’re not going to work tomorrow.”

“Where are we going?” She asked.

“Somewhere cold.”

“The drink is on me, then.”

“I’d love that.” I replied. “Did you bring your license?”

She nodded. “I used it as a valid I.D and now I can really use it as a license.” She clung to my shoulder. “I want a red car.”

“I want a black one.”

“Alright! Tagaytay, here we come!”

I chuckled as we went inside the car shop.
