The Billionaire's Architect Chapter 27

Isaac Gray Holster Elizalde’s POV

“What do you need?” I irritatingly said upon seeing Vivian in front of my door.

Before her mere voice could already made my heart jump for joy, now I could only feel hatred whenever I see her. I am just trying my best to not be rude in front of her since I know how to respect a woman even though she hurted me a lot.

Without saying anything, she went inside my room as if we’re still together. She was already wearing her pajamas as she laid on my bed.

“You know, I cannot sleep that easily with new beds,” she told me. “And, you also know your presence beside me can help me sleep so I will be sleeping here with you.”

I raised my brow. I really couldn’t get the nerve of this girl. She should be thanking the universe since I am still treasuring our friendship or else I would probably be hurting her right now. Well, I really don’t know how to hurt a woman, not intentionally. I was always taught to respect them.

“What do you really want, Vivian?” I directly asked. “We are already done.”

“We are still friends, right?” She confirmed.

“I don’t know what is the meaning of friends if you are the one talking about it, but this isn’t something a friend would do.” I eyed her. I am really getting impatient.

Staring at her made me hate her. I could no longer feel the love I had for her before. All I could see was a stranger trying to ruin my life. She’s really good at ruining someone else’s life. I should have known that.

“What? I am just sleeping here unless you really want to sleep with me just like the old times.” She licked her lips and here she is again.

“Why are you doing this? You chose Ethan and now that I am over with you, you are doing this again.” I face my palm. “Get out, Vivian!” I ordered her.

She crossed her legs and stared at me seductively. I would admit that I once fell for that. She already chose Ethan but we slept together. I thought she would choose me after that, but it turned out she wanted to keep us both. She wanted us both and she just couldn’t let go of one of us and she wanted a secret relationship with me.

I almost fell for that but eventually realized I am worth more than that. I am so glad I never agreed to her. She’s just a bitch. I want to tell my brother about it yet I know he would not believe in me. It would create another chaos so I would just leave it to them.

Why am I even stuck with her? Damn! I need to ask for a new interior designer. I hate it. We still need to finish some projects together. Ugh! Damn! Should I change my work now?

“What are you going to do if I break up with Ethan?”

I faked a laugh.

“Are you expecting me to accept you?” I scowled. “I am already over you, so get out while I am being nice!” I threw her the pillow because that’s the only thing that wouldn’t hurt her much even though I want to throw her the vase.

“Yes. You still love me, right?”

I smirked. “Don’t be too proud. I am over you.”

She stood up and tried to kiss me but I immediately pushed her away.

“I love Deanara and I won’t let you ruin us, so get out!” I pulled her and opened the door.

“You will regret this.” She warned me.

“I will not regret finally freeing myself from you. Go find someone to fuck!” I closed the door and I heard her yell from the outside.

Not that I care. I already stopped caring about her and I was just being nice because at some part we’ve been together. Also, to make my brother jealous before and to ruin them, too. Now, it doesn’t matter to me.

Deanara is what matters and I won’t ruin the second chance that she gave me. I will be someone that she truly deserves so she would never have to look for someone else. I will be a better person for her.

Speaking of her, she isn't’t picking her phone. She must be enjoying her trip to Tagaytay. It was spontaneous that I was surprised when she told me she was already there with Lyuna. Well, Lyuna needs a shoulder to cry on since she had a fight with her boyfriend.

I just grabbed my phone and texted my Deanara a good night message because I don’t want to bother her. I hope Lyuna is fine too.

I went to check my laptop for emails and then started opening a document. I have decided to write our love story. This time, I have a plan of publishing it, making the whole world read our story but still thinking about how I am going to write it. Of course, it will be a happy one without an ending.

I woke up with the sun already up. I opened my phone and was expecting her reply but got no one so I decided to call her. She wasn’t answering the phone which made me a bit worried so I continued calling her, though there was no response.

Is she still sleeping?

I leave a message for her hoping she would reply yet I was already prepared for work and she hadn’t even checked my messages.

What happened to her? Did they drink all night? Ugh! She is making me worried. Lyuna isn’t responding, either.

“Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?” Mateo, one of our engineers asked me as he saw that my mood wasn’t great upon entering the site.

“My girlfriend isn't replying to me. I am a bit worried.” I told him as I checked my phone again. Still, no calls or texts.

What the hell did they do? It’s already past ten. Are they still sleeping? How many bottles did they drink and did they even go home? Ugh! I told her not to drink too much, especially that they’re both girls.

“Maybe she’s busy or still asleep?” He said.

“No. She will still leave a message if she’s busy.” I clicked my tongue.

I kept my phone for a while and focused on my work even though my mind was already running miles to where Deanara is.

“Maybe, she’s busy with another guy.” Vivian interrupted.

“Don’t even compare her to you,” I said, which made her jaw drop. If she thinks I cannot hurt her then she should think twice because I am willing to hurt her if it’s about Deanara.

I avoided Vivian and joined Engr. Mateo. We still have months before we could finish this hotel and I am praying it will be done soon. I don’t want to be with Vivian.

“By the way, when are we going to start the glass house you want to build?” Engr. Mateo asked me

I smiled upon picturing the glass house Deanara drew as her dream house and I intend to build it for her. It would be a surprise.

“I am already done with the plan and we could start it next month,” I replied.

I know it’s too early but I am sure about her. I am even more sure about spending my life with her forever than I was sure about Vivian before. I had doubts about Vivian but I never felt that when I met Deanara. It’s like I knew it was her and will always be her though it sounds cheesy.

“The design is so classy and elegant. Who’s your architect? She’s great.”

“My girlfriend.” I proudly said.

“Let me meet her. I want her to design our house.” He added.

“Yeah, sure, if she’s okay with it.”

“Why not hire her as our architect?”

I shook my head.

“She’ll be an architect soon. Wait for it.” I smiled perfectly, picturing my Deanara.

Damn! I missed her so much. Why is she isn't picking my call?

"So, she's an architect?" He asked. "Cool. What's her name? C'mon. I really want a glass house, too. Can you tell her to make me one? I will pay no matter how much it costs."

I chuckled. "Sure. She's Deanara."

"Deanara?" He wrinkled his brow. "You mean, Louisana?"

"Yeah, that's also her second name. Deanara Louisana Samaniego."

"Oh…" He said in amazement. "No wonder."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked, and that caught my attention. "Do you know her?"

"Of course, I know her." He grinned. "Every guy on our campus knew her. You can ask your brother about it. I could say you are really lucky because a lot of guys tried to win her heart and she never said yes to any of them."

I blinked. Woah. So, she was really telling me the truth. She must have dated a lot of guys and yes I am lucky. And, I will forever be lucky because I don't have any intention to let her go. I will keep her.

"Don't tell me you tried to court her, too?" I asked, joking.

"Not me. It was my brother." He smiled. "But, I am in no position to tell the story so you could ask her."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Dude!" He tapped my back. "Don't get jealous. You already have her. My brother is just someone from her past."

"You are making me curious…" I clicked my tongue. "Go, spill it."

"Ask her, dude." He firmly said and I know he had no intention of telling me.

"Fine. What is the name of your brother?" I asked. I would just confirm it with Deanara. It must be the guy she's busy with that is why Ethan and her never worked out. Is he that guy?

Tch. I need to know who the hell is that guy?

"What does your brother do?" I added.

"My brother's name is Mattel."

Mattel? I think I heard that name before.

“What does your brother do?” I repeated my question. “Mattel Dela Merced, right? I think I heard that name before.”

“Well…” He chuckled. “He’s quite famous.”

“Hmm…” I scowled. Surely, I am more handsome than him. Although, I couldn’t help but get jealous. He must be the guy, the reason why Deanara never entertains my brother. So, he’s a threat. I wonder what happened to them.

“Why didn’t they work out? What happened with the two of them?”

He shrugged. “I really don’t know the story but I could say that they did try it. We were also able to meet her family and she’s really close to our family, but then…” He paused when he realized I am no longer in the mood. Fine, I am getting jealous since I never met her family. It felt like she never wanted me to meet them.

“What?” I asked.

“I don’t know. One day, they stop seeing each other.”

“And, your brother didn’t tell you why?”

He sadly smiled. “I haven’t seen my brother since then.”

“What do you mean by that?” I raised my brow.

“He has not come home since they ended their thing.” He said. “So, just ask her because I really don’t know. I want to know, too.”

“You are saying like they really had a thing. Like, it was something really perfect,” I reacted since I saw the sadness in his eyes like it was his own love story that ended.

“It was so we felt bad when it ended.” He brushed his hair. “C’mon, don’t put me in a hot seat. Okay? I shouldn’t be the one telling you this.”

“You are making me curious.” I sighed. “And, jealous because it felt like your brother is her the one that got away.”

“Would you be jealous if I told you that my brother is her almost?”

“The fuck! Who the hell is your brother. Let me meet him!” I urged him. “Did he hurt Deanara? What happened?”

He chuckled as he tapped my back.

“Nothing happened like that, that is why it was perfect.” He said before leaving me although he stopped and faced me again to say, “My brother promised her that he will be back but seeing that you are together...my brother no longer has the reason to come back, right?”

Indeed. She’s mine alone now and I will not let anyone get in our way.
