Rupert's POV
"Are you still sleeping?"
"Mason, what is wrong with you? Why did you..."
"Come get the door, I am here to check my patient."
"Patient... Shit!" I cursed then jumped out of my bed, I forgot totally that I have someone in my castle, when I pulled the door of my room, I made my way downstairs, then to the entrance, I pulled the door, and Mason pushed his way in.
"Idiot, did you drink yourself to bed?" I rolled my eyes at him, as I closed the door behind him. *Where is she?"
"In the room."
"Your room?"
"Mason, why will she be in my room?" He is annoying, I walked towards the door, where she is, and I pulled out the door.
"Aren't you..." Mason wanted to say something, I know he wanted to tell me to knock before entering, I too thought of it but the deed has been done.
The young lady jumped from the bed, and immediately as the door pulled open, she held her chest seeing that it was me.
"Don't you know how to knock?" She yelled.
"Pardon?" I question, but she kept quiet. "Did you just ask me to knock On my house?" She look at me, then rolled her eyes.
"Hi!" Mason said from behind, she turned her gaze to me, I could see the fear in her eyes, and the next thing, she jumped off the bed towards me, seeking refuge in my arms, my eyes bulge, as her hand circle my waist, that scent coming from her, hit my nostrils, it's tempting, how can I possibly stay under the same roof with one with this delicious scent and her blood smell like fresh rose flowers. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare, you, I am Mason, the healer, you can call me Mason or Doctor, I was the one who took care of you last night when you arrive here, when you passed out."
"Oh!" That was all she said, moving back to the bed, she is still in pain, I could feel it but I want her to leave.
"How are you today?" Mason asked her.
"I am fine."
"Perfect, you can leave me, get your stuff and leave." My annoying hoarse voice came up, Mason look at me, as she curl back into the bed. What are you doing? I said get off the bed.
"Will you stop, I am still sick."
"But you just said you are fine?"
"Isn't what everyone say when they asked them that, now, Mason, how are you?" She asked, I turned my gaze to Mason, who just replied her fine, and smirked at the same time.
"No way, this is not happening. She can't be here." I said, get off my bed. I grabbed her hand, ready to drag her off my bed, she slump the very minute, my hand touches her.
"Rupert, get off her." Mason yelled, pushing me off her, I pushed my hair backward in frustration, waiting for him to get done with all the examination he is acting like he is doing.
"What is going on?" He look at the girl on the bed, then turned his gaze to me.
"She needs rest, a lot of rest, I guess she is not strong enough to leave the castle at this point."
"How long with it takes?" I asked, but Mason, didn't reply to me, he pick his stuff.
"I have to be at the healing center, and I guess you should come with me, so you get drugs for her." Mason said although I find it strange that she will just pass out like that and Mason didn't bother to apply anything on her or even check her vital signs.
I will just wash up and come with you, after taking my bath, I pulled on my hood, I am in no mood for those disgusting whistling and murmuring about me, and to think that, I am the only vampire and wolf that walked under the sun like a normal wolf in the pack.
Iris's POV.
"Gosh!" I gasped for air, the very minute Mason announced their leaving, I didn't pass out, I just fake it, I was thinking the man that introduce himself to me as Mason, is going to run me out, but he didn't.
I try to figure, out what happened to me last night, I know I had crawled up here, although I never thought I could end up here, in this monster house but then I ended up here.
I felt relieved that he didn't throw me out, even though I had passed out right in front of his castle when he was about to do that.
I try to sit up, but the pain in my foot hurt, and those bruises on my skin seem tame, oh no! I screamed, seeing that I am on his shirt, the first thing I did was grabbed the shirt, to stare at the mark on my thigh. Did he already see this? I hope he doesn't, no one will want to keep a harlot in his house. I must try to hide this worthless mark, I am not going to let anyone see it.
Then his scent invade my nose, they were strong, hot chocolate and a mixture of coffee, he is the one, the one from the pack, wait; what did he come to my pack to do? could he be that he is friends with Damien? No, I am not going to let him take me back, I don't want to go back, I will not leave here, I know, no one will come looking for me here but if Damien is his friend then I am finished.
I try to convince myself, but slowly I pulled from the bed, it's a good thing he thought of getting a doctor for me, this pain would have been much unbearable for me.
I pulled the curtains of the window, and the sun smiled at me, maybe today is not going to be a bad day, just maybe, this castle is going to be my heaven.
Then again my mind wandered to Rupert, I need to look for a way to convince him to let me stay there, I need to give him a reason why he should accept my proposal.
"What are you going to propose to him?" My wolf, Sally asked.
"What do you think he will not say no to?"
"Marriage proposal." I tittered at her words, Sally is crazy, who will want to marry someone like me, if he is the alpha son, that means he might be one of the princes, there is no way he is going to marry a woman with the Mark of a prostitute.
Even the worse person in the bloodline of an alpha family is better than anyone with a mark of a prostitute.
"I am hungry, aren't you hungry?" Sally speak, and that was when I lower my eyes to take notice that my tummy had been craving food.
I found my way to the kitchen, I hope to see things, I could use in preparing something, at least with my little experience at the castle of Damien and Hilary, I had learned some skills to cook and do ask chores, I prepare something really simple, as I eat the food, my face brighten.
"What are you smiling about?"
"I finally got what to propose to him."
"And what is that?"
