Iris's POV
"I..." he wanted to say something but then I didn't hear what he said and the next thing, I heard was Excuse me, I have things to attend to. Then his voice faded away, he was in a hurry, I wondered what could be so urgent that made him leave.
Still, I didn't move, I was so weak, and I just lay there, waiting for strength to come back to my body.
"You should rest, I told you, he is not going to let us go till we are strong," Sally said, I rolled my eyes, when did she ever say that?
"Go on and sleep, remember Mason, said we should rest," Sally said, without being told, I should know that I need to sleep, I am tired, this time when he arrived, I should make sure that I can give him the proposal.
"I should tell him, I know he is the one living in this castle and that I want his help."
"Is that how you are going to say it?" Sally asked.
"Oh mine, why will the moon goddess gift me this?"
"Can you stop acting like you don't like me?"
"Of course, I love you, I will always love you." I said to her, she smirked. "What is it?"
'That smell, is what loving?'
"What smell?" I asked, pretending not to know what she was saying.
"That hot chocolate and mixture of coffee."
'Oh Sally, are you in love with him?"
"No, I am not, his face is scary."
"But his eyes are handsome when it is not bloody." I found myself commenting, then I closed my lips.
"Oh my, so you noticed his eye color? Those green eyes of his are breathtaking, his voice is sweet and his scent is intoxicating, and less I forget, his arms are strong, did you see how he pulled us into his strong am, his skin is fine, covered with hair, is just his face that is..."
"Sally, you should stop already, I need to sleep." I could hear her grumbling as I pushed her behind my head. This wolf of mine could be dramatic, I don't care what he looks like but then again my mind wandered to his face, if seriously, the moon goddess had worn him this scary mask, why can't he just pull it off his?
"Iris, sleep your thoughts are disturbing me." I scoffed, at Sally's words, after a few seconds, I was lost in dreamland, I slept for hours, and the growling of my tummy was what woke me up.
"Hello!" A voice accompanied by a knock on the door, made me almost jump from the bed. "Can I come in?" The voice came up again, this voice was different, I don't think, I have heard that voice before.
"Who are you?"
"I bet I should come in first, so you know who I am."
"Sorry come in, the door is not locked," I said with a hint of fear, the door opened slightly, and a young beautiful woman walked in, she should be around my age, and she was carrying a tray of meals, that soup is inviting.
"It's a good thing, you are awake, how are you?" I stared without saying a word. "Oh, I am Ariana, Rupert's cousin, and Mason's mate."
"Oh! Where is Prince Rupert?"
"He went out, he has some stuff to deal with and Mason had to go with him, so he asked that I come over to see, he said you are sick and have no one to care for you."
"Hm!"
"Sure, so you are?" I pinned my lips together, the two men didn't ask for my name, she was the first person to ask about my name and I didn't know what to give to her, for now, I didn't want to reveal the truth about myself.
"Is it for me?" I asked changing the topic she nodded, and I grabbed it without even saying a word to her. I devoured the meal, I was really hungry, and she just sat and watched me eat. Although I was hungry but that is not the reason, I didn't answer her questions, I just don't have a name yet to give her.
"How are you, Mason said you are badly hurt and that you are running from those after your life, did you..."
"No, I have no idea who they are, and I can't even remember anything not even my name."
"Did you lose your memory?"
"No oh..." She looks at me. "Sorry, yes, I just don't remember."
"Anyways, you don't have anything to worry about, you should stay here, Rupert will protect you."
"Are you kidding me? Those are the words I wanted to say to her. I don't think he will want me here, your cousin..."

"I need to be at the field, the pack is holding a feast, and the alpha just completed the packed school, so the opening is later today."
"Is it that far from here?" I asked.
"Yes, it's far, this place is out of the main town, lest I forget, maybe you will like to join the rest of the she-wolves sometime, maybe when we have the tournament, or the females showcase of beauty."
"What is a showcase of beauty?"
"It's a show where the she-wolves show their skills, where they crown the most beautiful she-wolves for the year, if you want I could..."

"It's not now, it's still have few weeks to the time, so you can relax, I will check on you later, but there is still more food in the kitchen and please take your drugs."
"Thanks!" I try to stand.
"Relax, I could walk myself to the door. Bye." I gave her a sweet smile as she walked out of the room and then the castle door, I gasped for air, she was beautiful, she had this gold hair that was when I realized, Rupert's hair was gold as well then again my thoughts wandered to his look, maybe I could search the castle, the picture of his real face before the curse must still be here.
'You would have just asked his cousin, instead of wandering about it." Sally's voice came up.
"Did you think she would tell me?"
"I don't know." Sally replied, I sighed since I couldn't take my mind off him, his hurt face, his next move, what he would do to me and his cousin what was she trying to say before she stood up, could it be true that he killed she-wolves, oh my, it's feel like my heart is going to burst off my chest, thinking about him, everything will be alright, you have nothing to worry about, let's explore the castle.
"Sure!!!" I am not the type that stays in one place, even though I am not too strong, I made my way to the living room, and I pulled the door of the castle to go out.
