Iris's POV
"Hm!"
"I was worried that something bad might have happened to you since you didn't show up all day and it's..." He turned and look at me.
"You probably heard the rumor that the second prince of the royal family is cursed and last night it confirmed that, I am cursed..." He turned his back on me, I wondered why he is not comfortable with me right under the same roof as him, and his gesture is that of embarrassment. "Father and everyone called it, the devil in me while I called it, my taste for blood, whenever I got the urge, I go on a rampage, a war against she-wolves, I drill all the blood in the vein of whatever she-wolf that I came in contact with and I ended up killing them, I could only be sober, at the break of dawn. We got lucky last night, we might not be lucky the day.'
Although his voice is cold, I still felt sorry for him, he is hurting but he doesn't want to show it to me, I take a step.
"Don't come closer." His coarse voice came up, I sighed inwardly. You shouldn't be stubborn, I thought you must have left since you are strong enough.
"Do you want me to leave?" He turned and look at me. "If you want me to leave, I will leave but if you didn't tell me to leave then I will stay, I will stay till I think I am no longer safe here."
"Iris, you are not safe here, you are never safe here."
"But I feel like I am safe here, I feel you will protect me and I know that you didn't mean to hurt me, so I am staying till you throw me out of the castle."
"You are unbelievable and don't blame me if anything bad happened to you." He darted upstairs, I held my chest, I was thinking he is going to throw me out and I have also thought of leaving but I changed my mind, it's better to stay here than to go away and he had told me, about his curse and I will try to avoid him whenever he went on a rampage, I guess, I should pray that he doesn't go on the rampage again.
"Let's go to the room." Sally reminded me to go back to the room, and reluctantly I turned and goes back to my room, the night was fast, it was morning already, I jumped off my bed, and I decided to get an alarm to wake me up early, I washed up fast and the next thing, I grabbed my stuff and stand at the front of the castle, I waited for thirty minutes, he didn't come out, so I go to his room.
"Iris, why don't you let him be?"
"What if..."
"What are you doing here?" Rupert's voice made me turn to him, and his gaze met my eyes, instead of replying to his questions, I stare at his face, now I could see a trace of that handsome demon I had seen on him during his transformation.
"You are..."
"Iris!" I jumped from my thoughts. "Why are you here?"
"Oh! I was waiting for you downstairs but you didn't..."
"Oh!" I guess we will skip training today, I have somewhere to be.
"Uh!"
'Yes, we will start our training tomorrow, you should rest today and Ariana will be coming later."
"Perfect." I mouthed, he turned and look at me, then turned to lock his door, suddenly my wolf pushed its way, causing me to move closer to him involuntarily, as I inhale his sweet scent, my eyes were shut that I didn't know that he is looking at me now, the next thing, I feel a cool breeze on my face, I jerk from my action, only for my face to come closer to Rupert's face. "What is it?"
"Uh!"
"Where are you inhaling me?'
"Yes... No..." I slapped myself trying to get focus, he turned from me, taking a few steps stop, and turned his gaze back to me, I hurry back into my room, I can't believe I just let my wolf take the best of me, I was supposed to be the one controlling my wolf, not the other way round, I fall on the bed.
As Rupert said, at noon, Arianna came, she is friendly to me, and we have a wonderful time, she was good company, when nightfall, Mason came to take her way and he also checks on me saying that Campbell, wanted him to see that I am better, the next day was there, before I know it, although I was almost killed by Rupert and how I survive is still a miracle to me. I was first to wake up, I get a quick bite, and I hurry to the door, he was heading to my room when I saw him.
"Good morning!!!" He turned and look at me, I think he is better than yesterday. He didn't reply to my greeting, so he walked out, I went behind him, the ride to the training ground was quiet and when we get to the training ground no one is there.
"Is it just the two of us?" He didn't reply, he start taking off his shirt. "Rupert!!!"
"Prince Rupert." I wanted to laugh at his outburst, but after contemplating it, I just pushed that thought from my head.
"Fine grumpy old man."
"I am not an old man." He growls.
"All old men growl and give unreasonable rules."
"What did you just say?" I move closer to him and place my hand on his shoulder, his eyes go to my hand on his shoulder.
"I said you are..."
"Never mind." Yet again, he interrupted me. "Filled the bucket of water and take it to the hilltop with arms stretched without a drop falling."
"I look at the hill then the water."
"Two buckets." He said, I sighed and filled the two buckets, I grabbed after filling it with water.
"Keep it up.' I raised my hand
"Shoulder level.' I try to raise it to my shoulder level.
"Focus on the hill." Taking a few steps, I stand it's tiring.
"Don't stop." I sighed, when I couldn't do it anymore, I stand
"Don't stand!!!"
"Keep moving!!!" I wasn't able to go anymore, I drop, and unknowingly tears fall from my eyes.
"Are you crying?" I ignore him, he seat in the grass. "Let's take a break for twenty minutes."

"What?" Now is my turn to ignore him, I know ignoring him hurt his ego, he grabbed my hand, and his hair fall to his face, I stared at him, I don't know what is wrong with me, even with his monster face, I found him attractive and his smell, always leave me longing for him, I have no idea what he is doing to me but I think, I am attracted to him, not just my wolf that is attracted to him.
