Rupert's POV
"What did you say?" My teeth gritted as I glared at her.
"He didn't rape me, he was only here to help me."
"Help!" I turned and at the lifeless male wolf on the floor. "I thought you said rape?"
"I didn't say he raped me, I only said it..."
It felt like, ice fell from the moon on me and voices were ringing in my head, voices I have no idea of whom they belonged to, and my face hurt, I could feel my gum hurting, I don't think I was transforming into my wolf because it's just my face that is hurting, my eyes run in circles and my headache, I try to cover my face with my hand, the pain was just too much, I wish it could stop, I wanted it to stop, I howl, as the pain becomes unbearable, I wish it's just some seconds, but it lasted for more than five minutes, after twenty minutes of torture, I fall to the floor, with my face buried on the ground.
Celina rushed to help me, but my scary face was what visited her, she jumped from me.
"Monster!!!" She shouts.
"Celina, what is wrong with you?"
"Don't come anywhere close to me." She yelled distancing herself from me, the more I moved closer to her, the more distance, she created between us and fear was written all over her face. Her eyes weren't showing love but fear and disgust.
"What is wrong with you?" This time, she didn't say a word, she pointed at the mirror in fear, shaking her head, I turned just to see the new me, my handsome face was gone, and left with this, I had been cursed by the moon goddess. I howl, screaming for it to go away running my hands on my face, It's there, a voice in my head, it's different from every other mind link, anyone had made with me.
"For passing judgment on an innocent boy and Killing him, you will wear this scary mask that you will feel it's a mask that could easily be pulled off yet, you can't, it will remain there and your heart will be taken away, you don't deserve a heart. It's of no use having a heart when you don't use it. You will walk with this for the rest of your life till your Redeemer comes, that is if you ever find one."
"Wait!!" The voice in my head fades away. "Celina, do you..."
"I said don't come near me, you beast." Calling me a beast, I couldn't bear it, Celina had made me kill an innocent man, he didn't rape her, slowly I retrieve my step from her and run through the dark, suddenly I was thirsty for blood, not the ones that father always provide for me, the ones that the pack members donated for me, but the ones from the main source, she-wolves, their blood were the ones that invade my nostril, it always smells nice, I wanted them and I got it.
"Rupert! Rupert! Rupert!" Mason's voice pulled me away, the grip was strong, pulling out of my pain. "You are getting agitated, you should stop thinking about what happened that night, all you should be thinking is how is it that your mask, is getting pulled from your face and you should forget about Celina."
"Did you think it's because I didn't kill that man?"
"Maybe but how is it that, you were about to control yourself from not killing him?"
"Iris."
"What?"
"Yes, it's Iris, she is the one that stops me, she is the one that mind links me to stop."
"Hm! You seem to be listening to her..."
"Shut up, why did you even think of taking her to the city, you should know that, she is not supposed to stay out of the pack, it's dangerous for her and did you know she was attacked after you left her at the tournament?"
"What?" I could see the guilt on my cousin's face.
"It's a good thing that silly Russell helps her."
"How is she now?"
"I don't know, she is sulking, she must be packing her stuff now to leave."
"You sent her out when she needed your protection more?'
"Ariana, stop questioning me, you should know better that taking her out of the pack is dangerous and you should be happy that, whoever attacked her here at the pack didn't do that in the big city.'
She runs her hand through her face.
"I am sorry."
"It's fine, I was only protecting you as well, I know if that monster that is after her attacks her when she is with you, he is going to hurt you as well."
Mason pulled Ariana to himself, if anything should happen to Ariana, I don't think my best friend will survive it.
"Mason, can you come with me?" Ariana looks at us. "Please, let me borrow your mate."
"No problem, I will just check on his patient."
"Since when did you become a doctor?" Mason pulled Ariana to himself and pressed soft kisses on her lips before he joined me at the car.
"Have you finished, with your lovely Dovey?"
"I learned from the best."
"The best?" I stared at him.
"Stop staring, you should know when it comes to love and romance you are the best, I saw the way you care about Celina..."
"Mason stop.'
"Fine, what is it you want to discuss with me?"
"I want you to help me, get information about Damien."
"Who is Damien?"
"The new alpha of the gold fang pack."
"That is Iris's pack?"
"Yes, I need to know, the strength of their warriors, and what is his weaknesses, and the relationship between him and Iris..." I kept keeping instructions to Mason, although he is the pack doctor when it comes to getting information, he is very fast, and no one, I could trust to give me, this information, I think he is better being a beta than being a theta. Every pack physician is called a theta, in the wolf world.
When I got home, I didn't smell Iris, maybe, she had left. I wanted to pull her door but I felt I shouldn't, I walked straight to my room, and after taking my bath, I went to bed, the next morning, I went to the training ground, I didn't bother to take the car, I transform into my wolf form, then jump through the wood, combining my wolf strength and my vampire speed is something amazing, if I am not a monster, it would have been awesome, having those two in one body, I wasn't expecting anyone to be there, I shifted back into my human form, so gross in transforming that I did know some is watching me, when I stand on my filled length, those pair of eyes are watching me.
