Rupert's POV
"Get your hands off her." I yelled, pushing that idiot off Iris, he was going to rape her.
"Who are you to tell me what to do?' He stands on his feet and kicks me. His speed is much, I could feel it, he is not just a wolf but also a vampire, he is like me, no, he must be a vampire that has lived thousands of years.
"She is mine, so get off her."
"Really?" He asked sarcastically, as he swung his sword at me, I didn't leave with a sword, so right now, I am without a sword. Only I decide whom she belongs to. At this point, I want her and I desire her, eating my food makes me want her more.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Boy vampire, I am someone, you shouldn't provoke."
"Did he just call me a boy vampire?"
"You should leave now, she is all mine." I tittered at his words.
"I am not going anywhere without her."
"So you want to fight? You want to fight for a she-wolf that is not your mate."
My eyes meet the sword, that was among the things, we brought here, it's a good thing that, it's close by, I rake it up. "Yes! I will fight till my last blood for her." I struck my sword, it went into the air, This was my first time, the first time since I learned the art of war to strike the air when I attack
The ancient stranger was enraged, although he looked all young like he was the same age as me. His smell is that of an old man.
Suddenly he stood behind me, kicked me from the back, caused me to crash to the door and ended up landing outside, I stood in a hurry, ready to attack, but a strong wind threw me back to the floor, the man wasn't even making any move, he places his hand behind him, taking a step to me. I stand on my feet with the fast speed of my vampire.
Began launching an attack on him, yet none got to him, he kept dodging it and I think he found it funny, as I struck endlessly and failed.
He knocked the sword off my hand, and he grabbed my neck, with one hand, lifting me off the floor, his claws elongated, piercing them into my neck, and blood spurting out.
I struggle to get out of his grip, with my legs dangling in the air, kicking him off me, it seems effortless, there is no sign of him ever going to get affected by this.
"Stop, don't hurt him, I will stay with you." Iris's voice came out softly, she was still lying on the bed. "I will let you claim me.'
The idiot laughs and loses his grip on me, I fall to the floor, and he hurries to Iris, which is subconscious.
"I have always dreamed of having a princess, being a rogue for years, I didn't get to taste a woman like you." He brought out his tongue and cleaned her face skin with it, I growled, forcing myself from the floor, as I howled, I threw that beast off her.
"Didn't I warn you to stay from her?" This time, I threw my dagger at him, it went through his chest, and he dropped down, I ran to Iris.
"Come on, let's leave." I pulled Iris's hand, but the beast was back on his feet, although he was still bleeding, he didn't look weak.
"I will let you have her, If you could defeat me, in the first fight, or I will have to kill you."
"No..." Iris wanted to protest, I understood that she was scared for me, and her eyes were filled with worries, I pushed her slightly from me, dragging the spear from the sword, ready to attack, I hoped I could defeat him and keep my Iris safe, I can't take it if anything happens to her.
We began to fight, I knew I was no match for him, but I was not giving up, I was already badly hurt, but I wanted to keep Iris safe, I could hear her wailing, she was hurting because I was hurt, this only happens between two people that are mate, but we are not mate, yet she felt my pain.
This man here moved as fast as the wind, his speed was on another level, vampire have the fastest speed but this man here, his movement is not detected, he is too fast for anyone to calculate it.
Why did I even bring her here? Why do I feel that I have learned nothing in all my years of living? Beating another hybrid like myself had always been easy but this one is like the one lord that will bring me to my grave.
Now they were no sword, it was just our claws and fangs that we were fighting with, his claws were sharper than mine, and I couldn't even feel my skin anymore, they were covered with blood.
I could feel the pain that Iris was going through right now, instead of my unbearable pain, the fact that my Iris was crying badly broke my heart, and the thought of what he was going to do to her after he killed me broke my heart.
I will have to make sure, I kill him, I promise Iris, I promise to protect her and help her get her pack back, till she is not strong enough to control her energy, I am not leaving her.
The stranger pushed me to the ground, and he pulled out his dagger he was going to end my miserable life, Iris ran from behind, her speed was fast, I was praying hard, that she wouldn't shift into her wolf, but she placed herself between me and the stranger, her hand was covering her face.
"Stop it." She yelled, waiting for the stranger to finish her, but the dagger didn't meet her, he stopped midway, and he looked at her in pain, I couldn't figure out why his eyes were saying that and portraying betrayal.
"Let him go, I will..."
"No!' I pushed Iris off me, but I was too late, the stranger buried his claws on my shoulder, ripping it with his claws, he moved his fingers to his lips, and he licked my blood. 'It's tasty, I think I want it all."
"Tasting the blood of a hybrid Alpha." He commented as his fangs sink into my neck, he suck on it, he is sucking my blood and there I couldn't do anything.
"Iris run!! You should run!!!"
