Rupert's POV.
She glared at me, as soon as the door flew open and my face came into view.
I was at the office with my beta when she mindlink him telling him to send Ariana to her, that she wants to go clubbing, that is irresponsible for an alpha but that is not the reason I am here, I couldn't let my girl goes out all alone, dress and probably get drank and end up dancing seductively with a strange man, I am not going to let that happen. She is mine, and she is not allowed to do that with any man but me.
Even if she is mad at me, I don't care, I have made my decision to go with her because I know there is no way I could stop her from going, and now seeing her wearing such a gown that covers almost nothing on her skin, makes me want her more and I am glad that I did choose to come in place of Ariana.
With this dress hanging just under her bum, there is no way those male-wolves wouldn't ogle at her like some predator ready to jump on their prey.
"What are you doing here?" She asked trying to see if Ariana is there. She wasn't smiling at me, I understand her, she is mad at me, she doesn't want to see me, I hurt her and she probably thinks that I hate her, I don't, I have always loved her and I will always, it just that I am too afraid of breaking her heart, I already have a fated mate.
"She is not here, she is busy."
"Oh, then I will just go alone." She try to pull from me, I held her hand.
"I am here to go with you."
"Don't, I could handle myself, and come to think of it, I am not going alone, I am going with Drake, he is my beta." My face darkened when she said Drake is her beta.
"Are you crazy, why will you pick a male as a beta?" I Snarled at her unknowingly, she looks at me all shocked, and that was when the realization was done on me that I was mad at her for picking a male wolf as a beta.
"Yes, and no because I am hundred percent sane, so get off my way." She try to push her way off me but I jerk her hand causing her to fall on my chest, she wasn't wearing a bra, and her soft mounds press my chest, while my hand goes to her waist.
"Kiss her Rupert, come on let's feel her lips, I want her." Storm growl in my head, trying to force himself out, when he inhales her sweet scent, my lips fall towards her.
"Alpha Iris, is there a problem" She pushed me off herself, I clenched my fist, stepping aside from her while releasing her waist.
"No beta Drake, you are here?" She asked taking a deep breath.
"Yes, is he..." I turned and look at him, I was glaring at him, he is handsome and I hate it. "Alpha Rupert, I didn't know you are here?"
"Hi, I didn't know that you are the beta of Iris." I mouthed with gritted teeth.
"I too didn't know alpha Iris will pick me to be her beta and I am grateful for it. So what brought you here?" He asked smiling sweetly at me.
"I am here to discuss something with her." Iris turned and look at me, I lied, yes I know.
"Oh, that means Alpha Iris, you are canceling?"
"No, he can always come back at another time. Right?" She turned from her beta and look at me. I stared at her confused.
She is not expecting me to agree to this. Beta Drake turned and look at me.
"I could go with you, I will love to see your pack club, I heard it's amazing, so I am in." Iris glared at me, yet my face is unfathomable.
"Fine, it's your call jobless Alpha." She mouthed the last words, I smirked, and beta Drake stared at me, he is the lost one among us, I watch her swing her waist in front of me, I only waited for her to get in front of me, so I could watch her backside.
"Rupert, can you just reject Celina already?" Vernon speaks in my head.
"And why will I do that?" I know the answer already, I only want to play cunning.
"You already know, I want Iris back, I want to meet her wolf, we only communicate, I want to see her."
"Vernon, you shouldn't think of what you cannot get, she is no longer that naive little girl, she is a full-grown female, she will never give herself to us like that, even if she is in her heat and unbearable for her." Vernon sighed, he wasn't interested in my words, he was dying to be alone with Iris.
"Alpha Rupert, can you please unlock your car." Beta Drake said, my eyes bulge, is he planning on riding with me?
"Do you..."
"Yes, it's only right that the alpha rides with her alpha guest." I didn't even question whatever he is saying before I unlocked my car and Drake pulled the door for Iris. "Alpha Iris, you should ride with him, I will ride behind you." She nodded to him and walked in, I take on the driver's seat.
"Thanks for letting me drive you." She turned and look at me.
"I do not have a choice, if I do, I would had kick your ass." She was serious, I turned my gaze and smirked.
Long silence goes on, as I drive her, to the club, the car is silent and the awkwardness is becoming unbearable and I am not finding it fun.
"Iris..."
"Alpha Iris." She corrected me, I look at her confused. "Yes, don't call me Iris, it's Alpha Iris." I smiled, pushing my fingers into my hair, knowing that she is trying to pay me in my coin.
"Fine, talking about you being an alpha, how are you coping with the position of an alpha and your Coronation when is it coming up?" This time she turned and look at me.
"In a fortnight, I am announcing the pack beta as well and also my mate."
"Your mate, you have a mate as well?" I clenched the wheels, my wolf growl in my head, as I fixed my gaze on her, forgetting I am driving
