Chapter 9:
Victoria came out from her thoughts and quickly shook her head "oh, no! I am fine! The foods are amazing!" She said, giving him a sweet smile..
It's true that the foods are absolutely very good, there is no doubt about that.. But the problem is, these foods doesn't taste like home.. Yet, she can't tell that, right?
Looking on her plate she started eating silently..
Alexander felt something was definitely wrong.. However, he did not say anything too.
After finishing their lunch, Alexander went to his study again and Both siblings went to Vincent's room..
Vincent went to the big verandah in his room.. He didn't get to see at the first time.. Now seeing it he was so exited.. He looked at his sister with his big bright blue eyes "Are we really going to live here, forever?!" He asked..
want to disappoint his little mind.. She smiled "You like it here?"
Vincent nodded "yes, I do very much like it!"
She bend down to face him "then, I will talk to your brother-in-law to let you live here.. After all, my cute little brother like it.."
Vincent frowned "I am not cute.. Heh.." He pouted..
"Ha-ha.. Okay sir, as you say.." Saying she ruffled his hair softly..
At the evening, three of them again met at the dinner.. After finishing their meal, Alexander looked at is wife "Victoria, from tomorrow Vincent's treatment will start.. But, he has to stop going to school.."
Both siblings looked at him silently, wanted to hear what he is going to say next..
After a brief pause Alexander again spoke "He will be going to 'M' School.. But, it will be after his treatment.. And before that, I have arranged his school at home.. He will complete his syllabus with the help of teachers, who will come and give him tuitions.. And when he will recover fully, he will join the school.."
Both Victoria and Vincent's mouth was hung open.. They never thought he would do these things for them! Specially Victoria.. She felt a rush of warmness inside her heart and started getting emotional.. Without trusting her voice she just nodded in response..
Vincent hugged him "thank you.." His voice was also broken..
Alexander nodded and patted his head gently..
After the dinner Victoria put Vincent into sleep.. Now, she has to go in the bedroom, where he and Alexander will be together..
She suddenly recalled, what happened in the study room at morning.. Her face flushed and She stared feeling uneasy.. But, she has no choice right?
Trembling she stepped towards the bedroom.. She never entered into the room before.. It was not far away from Vincent's.. Alexander made sure of it and about that she is very much grateful to him..
The room was more bigger than Vincent's.. Victoria looked around but didn't find Alexander.. She thought, he still might be in the study.. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.. Turning around she found butler Celeste was standing near the door..
"Yes, uncle Celeste?" She asked..
"Young madame, master has got some work, he might not come tonight.. Please be comfortable here and if you need anything, just ring the bell beside the bed and me or one of the servants will be here immediately.. Master apologised for this inconvenience.."
Hearing Celeste Victoria felt a pull of relief in her heart.. It might be too selfish for her but she is actually very happy with the news.. Her all nervousness vanished all of a sudden..
Smiling she nodded to Celeste "It's okay, uncle Celeste.. Thank you for letting me know.."
He bowed and said "Good Night, young madame.. Have a safe night.." With that he left..
"I don't know what will happen next. But for tonight, I am free.. Thank you so much God.." She murmured to herself..
She went to washroom and her jaw dropped on the floor.. The bathroom is so amazing that she felt she could only live here! With the happy mood, taking a quick shower she again went to see her brother and then came to her room..
One thing she noticed after coming here, they have all the necessary things here which can be needed for a person, as if they are living here for a very long time! Well, rich people can do anything..
In the bedroom. There were two more doors excluding bathroom and the entrance one, but she was feeling too tired to look at..
Yawning Victoria got in bed "God, thank you so much for all the things you gave me and solving my all problems.. Please, fulfill Mr. King's all the wishes and give him all the happiness because of the kindness he showed.. Ameen.."
And in just a minute she also sunken into the deep slumber..
At the middle of the night, Victoria felt a very gentle touch on her head.. With the sleepy eyes she barely looked at the person and could only able to see fuzzy features.. "Don't wake up, it's me.. Go to sleep.." Came the most gentle and soothing voice which made her close her eyes again..
Alexander watched her innocent face contently.. He wanted to give her sometime, that's why didn't come to sleep and send the news with Celeste.. But, he couldn't control his greed to see her and came back at the middle of night.. After all, he has waited very long only for this time to come..
He changed his clothes and laid beside her after freshen up.. Alexander hold her slender figure in his arms.. It felt perfect in his hands, as made for him only.. Dropping one last kiss on her forehead he closed his eyes, holding her close to his chest..
The next morning, Victoria Opened her eyes feeling the bright light on her eyes.. Suddenly, she felt hot breath on her neck which felt slightly ticklish.. She tried to move but felt trapped..
Suddenly, she realised that she wasn't alone on the bed! Her sleepiness were gone by now and panick run through her spines..
Slowly, she turned to look at the person beside him and her eyes widened seeing the most ugly face in the world!! A scream almost came to her throat.. But then "don't get scared, I won't harm you.." Alexander spoke while opening his beautiful grayish eyes..
