3rd Point of View.
“I’m afraid we lost them, Alpha King,” said the manager of all the hostages, his name is Spencer, a mere human.
Alpha King wreaked havoc inside. He was desperate for getting the moonstone, obsessed with Faye! He was near to getting the moonstone in his very hands, but his stupid people are just reminding the Alpha King what’s their nature— a useless and nonsense human.
This whole thing stirred old beliefs Alpha King has for humans. He wolfed out. The cape that’s been covering the scars on his back and the crown placed on his head is now removed.
Joseph, Alpha King’s name, disrobe his royal title, only to bring chaos in the middle of the sea where innumerable species have been caught and are still inside the ship.
One by one, using his large and sharp claws, he tore apart the human’s body in two. His only target is their heart, and he eats it. Every time he eats a human heart, his strength multiplies, his body is growing large, and his wolf ability is increasing.
On to the last human, he attempted to take his heart and it eat, but he stopped just in time and laughed like an evil.
“I will save you this time, ant,” the Alpha King, now in his human form, slurped the last drops of blood crowded in his sharp claws. “But you will find Faye for me.”
Trembling human bowed before the King and kissed his disgusting feet.
“I owe my life to you, your highness. Thank you for showing your kindness,” said the human.
“Raise and tell me your name,” said the Alpha King. The human raised and showed his face.
Slowly, but surely. When the Alpha King reached his eyes, the human shifted into a woman, showing the face of Mia, the Omega of the Sombermane Band pack.
“Y-you?!” stuttering Alpha King said. “H-Have you trick me!? Is that why I smelled this different sensation of blood from you?!”
Mia laughed devilishly.
“So, is this enough evidence that I can follow Damion?” asked Mia.
Alpha King’s face looked perplexed. “So, you mean…”
“I know you’re just making your wife believe that you created this ship just to capture humans and eat them for your own. And I know that you know where Damion is, and he has in his very hands, the one thing you’ve been looking for,” Mia paused and gave Alpha King an evil smile. She leaned forward and whispered, “The Moonstone.”
“You’re a sly, little dog. A sly.” Alpha King turned his back on her. “I will let you follow him. But that's if he accepts you to be his companion.”
Mia’s eyes turned wild. “What are you saying?” she asked.
“It’s for me to know.”
“Did you tell him what we did?”
Alpha King smiled and disappear. Leaving Mia confused about everything.

Damion’s Point of View.
“Why? Don’t I have the right to say that to you?” I said, walking forward.
Ralph was going along with the rhythm of my feet, he was stepping back as I move my feet forward. When I reached Faye’s hand, I took it from him and pulled her.
“Hey!” said Faye. “You should’ve called me. Refrain from being arrogant with Ralph.”
“Why? Are you starting to like him? Does it hurt when I’m acting like an evil dog around him?” I said, smiling and teasing him.
Woosh.
Faye rolled her eyes upward. “That’s not what I mean, but if that’s what you want to believe, why not?” said Faye.
Faye walked past me and went inside the hut.
“You!” I started with Ralph. “Where have you been?” I asked, now my raising voice a while ago subside.
“I was with the woman you’ve been hurting all this time, giving her pleasure of conversation you couldn’t give,” said Ralph. Now he’s the one who turned his back on me and started to walk forward.
“How did I hurt her?” I asked.
“You forgot?” said Ralph and snorted. “Then I guess you don’t deserve to know why.”
Ralph continued walking out, leaving me alone.
I was about to go after them, but I smelled something familiar.
It’s near this forest, I think she’s inside the forest!
Am I correct or this is just an illusion?
This place is quite dense so I went out and followed the smell. I run faster and faster, and the smell is getting stronger. My heart skip a beat. I was hoping it was her, I was hoping it was not.
It’s troubling. I’m feeling anxious, hoping this would stop. Using my right hand, I rubbed my chest to make it calm. What is this? Why am I in pain?
Crap…
Faye. Is she alright?
Crap this whole thing about life mate! It was Mia that I sensed! I could have met her, I need to meet her! But I was stuck in checking up with Faye because she was hurting me. If I am this weak, how could I protect the love of my life?
I need to check for Faye. I need to check her first before anything else.

But when I met her, she was perfectly fine. I was gasping for my breath, I was losing myself. I rubbed my chest, massaging it as if it would help to ease my pain.
"Ahhck…" I grunted.
So if Faye wasn't hurting me, who would? I stepped out of the hut to breathe fresh air.
"What happened?" asked Ralph. His brows furrowed, but his eyes were full of worries.
"Who did this to you?" asked Faye.
"What do you mean?" I asked, my brows met.
"You were penetrated by a spear!" said Faye. "AH-AAHHCK!" Faye yelled, now she was kneeling as she endured the pain. I'm sure she's in pain twofold like usual, like how the moon goddess plotted everything.
My heart is tearing apart.
"F-Faye…" I called for her name and kneel so I would be on the same level as hers. Caressing her cheeks, my eyes tear up.
"Let me do something about this, Damion," said Ralph. "I will find a particular leaf to lessen the pain. Bite this for me in the meantime. Hold on real tight…"
Ralph gave me a piece of an enchanted towel. I did as he asked.
The weight of his voice when he speaks every word is heavier than I thought. He was serious and he cared more than I imagined.
There's only one reason he was acting like this.
This is all because I caused Faye pain. My pain is her pain.
"How come you didn't realize you were in pain?" Faye asked while her voice was trembling. I barely hear every word she says. Holy goddess, I feel my heart shredding into pieces.
I let her submerge her head to my neck. She was shivering and this is all my fault.
"Stop talking. It will increase the pain," I said.
"It's all because of your numbness, idiot. A Beta, are you? You're proud of it, aren't you? Now look, you put us in danger," she said, chortling at every word.
"Just stop talking, will you? I'm tired of removing this towel out of my mouth to respond," I said, rolling my eyes upward. But she amazes me, really. She still acts as if nothing happened and she was about to die.
"But you still did?" she said, teasing my inner child, laughing as if she wasn’t in pain.
When I looked at her, I can see the obvious trace of pain in her ocean eyes. She was deeply in pain, not just physically, but emotionally. She’s sucking me with a simple gaze.
I’m starting to feel the pain Faye felt. There was a pang of guilt that lingered in my chest. It was stinging painfully like a piece of a knife penetrated my heart. Holy crap. I know, I was selfish, but was that my fault?
I only wanted to become an Alpha. I looked away ‘cause her eyes are scaring me. It’s making me nervous. But where exactly was the pain coming from? Where exactly was the spear hit on?
“Faye,” I called for her name, fully removing the enchanted towel from my lips.
Yet, she wasn’t responding. I removed Faye from my neck… only to see her face with no blood.
“Hey! Don’t joke at me like that!” I said, shaking her body to wake her up.
But I should be happy now… this is my plan, to cast Ralph away and serve Faye as bait to the Alpha King, like how we planned it to be. I shouldn’t wake her and bring to the offering of Alpha King. Yet, my knees were shivering. As I looked at her this way, there was a pain that naturally came from me.
I know that this emotion is what I truly feel… not what Faye reflected on me… but why? Why do I feel this?
My conscience has left me no words. No matter what happened, I’m still half-human. Human blood flows continuously through my veins. Yes, it’s only half, but it’s the only thing dominating… I mean, my human blood.
These circumstances left me no choice. Although I was also in pain, I carried Faye, near the lake. As far as I remember, I saw one while I was going around the forest. But where is it exactly?
I’ve seen these groups of trees, engrafted asymmetrically. Flowers bloomed on the floor, and unknown creatures lurked around the ground instantly hiding from my naked eye. As I was gasping for my breath while looking for the lost lake, Faye shivered.
“W-What’s wrong?” I asked an unconscious Faye. I tried to wake her up by shaking her body, but she wasn’t responding. She opened her eyes and I almost dropped her to the ground.
It wasn’t Faye at all…
But Faye stands on her feet, only to lie down on the ground.
Mist showed up before my eyes, coming out from Faye’s body. It was her wolf… another mist was coming to her, but where is that coming from? I looked around and tried my very best to find it.
It was tough… however, I managed. It put my mouth ajar when I saw him.
“Ralph?”
The last thing I saw in this kind of event was when Faye and my wolf met and mated into the thin air. However, right now, I only saw a mist, their wolf hardly reach the other.
I had to put her wolf back in, she was severely in pain and needed her wolf’s ability to heal her as fast as possible.
“Then you had to suck her lips.” It was my wolf who spoke.
“I guess I was left with no choice.”
