The Unknown Chapter 2

Waiting is not easy. That too in the most important, embarrassing moments even the clock pin moves very, very slowly. If it was the old days when he could walk fast the grey haired man would have gone with him. He would have watched from the side how the given work was going on. He was anxious to see what the young man's facial expression would look like when he died. But due to his old age he does not have the strength to walk fast on the mountain. He also bent down slightly and stared at the mountain. There was no movement except for dark silence lying on the hill. Without patience he began to put rhythm in the thigh.

The one who is gone now will definitely finish his work and return with success. Because that hired killer is so talented. When the killer was told the death should be unintentional, he agreed without hesitation. But he only hesitated when he insisted on being told how he was going to do it. Then he said softly. The plan he stated was very valid. There is no way anybody will know the plan. But something bothered the grey haired man.

The ghostly wind blew in a howling tone. This is why fools must have once said that demons and spirits roam here. If only those rational organizations had not come here, people would still be trembling with fear. Despite all this revelation, last month a rich man built a small goddess temple on this hill. If there is a God, the demon and the spirit will not come. It looks like a sack that encloses with a drawstring.

Like something ominous, a large black bird flew towards the top of the mountain. The young man who will die soon enough would have explained not only the name of the bird but also the evolution of the bird from its inception to the present day. Alas, what is the use of the knowledge when he will die in next few moments.

The indefinite waiting, abruptly ended. In the distance the hired killer was coming. The killer carefully placed the cardboard box in his hand in the back seat of the car and started the car.

"What happened?" Grey haired man asked impatiently.

"Dead," killer said quietly.

He could not be immediately happy. It was hard to believe now, even though he had expected something at first. He stared at killer for a minute. He did not care about the view except that he was driving the car the way he came.

"How?" He asked.

"Like I said in the first place," he said, speeding up the car. He wanted to reduce the time he spent with this guy. Some people are not easy to tolerate. This guy belongs to that category.

His answer to him was not satisfactory. It seemed necessary to tell in detail what had happened. So he opened his mouth to say in detail. At the same time, his phone rang. The grey haired man answered in one word.

"Done"

It did seemed as if the caller did not allow to finish the speech. The caller continued to speak, intermittently saying "yes", "m" and "we have arrived". His servant ran fast and cleared the roadblocks.

He reached out and asked the servant.

"Is everthing alright?"

"No Problem Sir"

The car flew again. In a few seconds he saw his own car parked in the distance. No longer did he have time to listen in detail to the one sitting next to him. So he asked the same question.

"Where did the snake bite him?"

"The big toe on the right foot."

The killer parked his car near the other car. The killer zoomed past the old man. Grey haired man stared at the car, narrowing his eyes with dissatisfaction that he could not hear the murder scene clearly and completely from the killer. In seven seconds the car disappeared from his sight.

He told his driver to get in the car.

"Drive fast like him"

He could not sleep that night. Eagerly waiting for dawn. He cannot rest until the corpse of that intelligent young man is on the TV. It was dawn.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. He began to watch TV shows, thinking of the women who were going to pick up the fleas in the morning, the shepherd boys, and the priest who would worship at that iconic temple on the top of the hill.

Devotional music, temple tour, Thirukkural, today's guest programs were going on. But the news he was expecting has not yet arrived. When the hour came he had no balance. There was a phone call from another person who was not as reserved as him.

“What, we don't see anything in the news? ”

"Public didn’t notice then. I will send a man, ”he said, contacting the same employee who had been engaged in surveillance work last night.

He called in three-quarters of an hour.

"Sir, his bike is still at the foot of the mountain…"

The old man grew little confident. If he had been alive he would have left the mountain in his bike line by six in the morning. Now it is nine o'clock.

“Go to the hill top temple and look for his body. If anyone has seen his body before, mingle with them. Do not pretend to know him. If no one can find the dead body, then after finding out where it is, start immediately. The policemen’s first question will be who saw the dead body first. We don’t need police to enquire you"

"Yes Sir." He was restless until the caller called back. The workers of this period are only half the corpses of the inactive. Only when asked why the delay will they tirelessly answer. If a person is fired because he did not meet the expecctations, the next person to join the job will make us think that the previous person was ten times better. Everything is the sphere of time.

He called him on the phone at ten.

“Sir, the priest of the temple on the top of the hill came down with the completion of worship before I could go. There is no one here except an old woman who has just cleaned up. I looked everywhere, there is no dead body to be found? ”

He was shocked at the news.

"Did you search properly?"

"Yes Sir. That’s why, it took so much for me to get back to you"

He could not believe his ears. He next phoned the hired killer. The bell rang. It was just ringing. But he never picked up the phone He felt the danger.

"what happened?"
