The Unknown Chapter 3

He tried to guess what would have happened. The first suspicion was that the hired killer had cheated. He has been paid the full amount in advance. However, he is not the deceiving type. They also have a strict rules to be followed in that profession and deceiving is not one of the rules. If not, what is the cause? Maybe the corpse was taken away by some animal? The mind said may be. There is a valley at the back of that mountain. If the animals had been taken there this servant would not have seen the corpse.

What kept him from believing that it might be so was that the killer had not picked up the phone.

A restless person like him phoned him. Irritated by that person mind he spoke.

"Hello"

"Did you speak to him?"

"The phone rings. Does not attend the call. On previous night he must have drunk heavily and put his phone on silent mode. Idiot.”

"Do you think he double crossed us?”

The grey haired man understood, the caller had the same suspicion like him. Still he asked

"What do you say?"

"Did he negotiate with Karthi about our plan to kill him?"

"Karthi would have gone on the bike if he was alive. The bike is still there. Did you forget that? ”

"Maybe the killer had went there again and took Karthi with him"

To him, the caller’s imagination aroused panic. Whether it was fiction or not will be known later, but for now it seemed to be imaginary. Told him.

"Don’t run your wild imagination. Call Karthi. Suspicion can be addressed immediately. ”

“Hmm. That's right, too. " Five minutes later he spoke to him again.

"I called his number and got phone is switched off message"

Grey haired man said, feeling a little relieved, "then don’t be afraid. His body may have been taken by some animal.”

"There are no such animals in that mountain."

He also understood that the caller had collected a lot of information.

"Why unnecessary suspicion?. I will send someone to the killer’s home and tell him to investigate," he said, immediately phoned the employee and ordered to report the investigate the matter in hand.

Unable to keep quiet until the employee called back and reported the information, he thought many guesses in his mind. If the hired killer had cheated he would not be in his home and would have definitely run away. But he still instinctively said it was unlikely to have happened. The hired killer may have mistakenly thought that the snake had bitten him. But he also could not believe that someone with a career in murder would have made that mistake. The hire killer had even told the place where the snake bit the young man. It is unlikely that the talented hired killer would have left the place without confirmation. What would have happened then? How many learned intellectuals would have learned the trick of overcoming snake venom? Had he escaped after pretending to be dead? No, no all this is too much imagination! The bike is unlikely to be there if he had escaped. Could he have flown in the air? The servant was too late to make the phone call, and his mind was startled by something imaginary. Did the servant die on the way, why, he still hasn't made a phone call!

Over the next half hour his servant made a phone call. His voice trembled as he spoke.

“Sir. He is dead”

The grey haired man was angry.

"What are you blabbering?" He asked sternly.

"True Sir, the snake had bitten him"

Grey haired man was jolted to the core. He asked nervously.

"Did you see his corpse?"

“Yes Sir. I saw killer’s dead body. I stood among the crowd. The whole body is poisoned and blackened. ” The trembling in his voice still lingered.

He kept quiet for a while. He said nothing further and the old man was irritated.

"Why are you opening your mouth in installments?"

He said hurriedly.

"His neighbor had a phone call at nine in the morning. When the call was not answered, the neighbor went directly to talk with him. And he saw the dead body. The doctor came and told him that he has been dead for six hours. The doctor said this is no ordinary snake bite. It should be a severe poisonous snake bite.”

The killer told him that the snake is a very, very poisonous snake. He has proudly said that the bite is sure to kill him in a matter of minutes and that he has killed many. Now he has died in the same manner knowing what that experience will be like. Stupid. Would anyone be reckless like this?

“Did anyone caught the snake?” He asked eagerly.

“No. The area itself is trembling. People are still searching for that venomous snake”

The news of "snake biting his leg" was shocking. He unknowingly asked him the same question he had asked the hired killer.

"Where did the snake bite him?"

"Big toe Right Leg"

His cellphone fell down from his hand. He froze in shock and just sat there. He had no idea what to think and how to take what happened.

It was at that time that his partner in crime came there to talk to him directly. The position in which he was sitting stunned him. He had seen him in that position since the day he remembered. Grey haired man was not accustomed to trembling unless he is accustomed to trembling next to him. It would have been correct to suspect that the hired killer might have played a double game if he himself had been sitting in such a state of shock.

He came to him and asked.

"What happened?.. Did he cheat us?"

Grey haired man sighed.

"No, instead he was cheated"

His partner blinked without understanding.

"How?"

He said.

Now the partner was shocked. Again he asked weakly.

"How?"

He said everything the servant had just said. He looked at him with his eyes bulging out dangerously. Killer was also bitten by the snake on the right big toe where Karthi was said to have been bitten by the snake yesterday.

Old man’s cell phone suddenly rang. He just looked up and said what was the name of the person calling.

"H. K"

Now the old man’s eyes expanded dangerously. His partner asked.

“Who is H. K?”

The loud pulse narrowed and came with a mere windy horror he replied.

"Hired killer"
