The Unknown Chapter 20

Senthilnathan did not expect this. He never thought another meeting would take place this night unless he came to see if there was any trace and to see from the scene in the night environment. He waited anxiously to find out who was coming.

All that was known was a black car coming. The lack of streetlights prevented from getting more information about the car. The car came at a steady speed until it approached the foothills. Those who came in the car must have seen the police jeep parked at the foot of the hill just as it approached. The car, took a U-turn very fast, began to travel at top speed on the way it came.

Senthilnathan was stunned. There is no way to go down fast and chase the car immediately. The car would have traveled several kilometers by the time he got down. It seemed that he should have come down as soon as he knew car was coming from a distance.

Why did the visitors come here? Are they the people involved in Karthi's disappearance? Have they left any traces and came back looking for it? Uday's men have searched every inch here. Don't they know that if there was any trace Udays men would definitely have gotten their hands on it? Senthilnathan was confused. He only understood that they did not want to fall into the eyes of the police, no matter who they were or what they came for.

He too left with the idea.

RamaKrishna was describing what had happened to ParthaSarathy. Nirmal Akash was sitting nearby. He was curious to know what his father thought. He is knowledgeable. He had a unique power to go to the root of problems and understand them. Both were waiting for him to understand something incomprehensible.

He did not interrupt until he had finished listening to the full description of his uncle. He sat in silence for a few minutes after finishing.

When Nirmal said what if there was a witness to the murder of Karthi, that witness had killed the hired killer when the bargaining for ransom was not successful. Instead the witness is blackmailing them, ParthaSarathy said.

"It is unlikely. Since the witness could have blackmailed the hired killer only. He will not take away the body. If the body was found, there is a chance that it will be like you said. But Karthi's dead body is still missing? ”

What he was saying seemed right.

"What else do you think has happened?" Sankaramani got upset and asked his son-in-law.

"Not able to conclude properly. Everything seems fish right from the beginning. If we had known what the hired killer did on the mountain top then we can come to conclusion. You must have heard it from him. ”

"Right at that point of time your son called on the phone and didn’t give me a chance to talk to hired killer" RamaKrishna said.

Nirmal said weakly.

"I was just curious to know what ha happened. That's what I called him to hear one or two words. "

“Two words? He was talking until he dropped me off from that Car. ”

"I was just curious." Nirmal said softly.

ParthaSarathy understood his son’s situation. It's normal for everyone to have a palpitation like this when committing a major crime for the first time.

"Right now I am going through bad phase. Can't sleep properly. Very much tensed when I will get call from hired killer’s phone” Sankaramani sighed.

ParthaSarathy had never seen her uncle in such a frightened state. This is the first time this has happened.

ParthaSarathy's father owned a lot of real estate in Thanjavur at that time. He married the daughter of a poor farmer for the sole reason that she was beautiful. When he got married, his wife brought her brother RamaKrishna, who had no other job, to the house. They needed a man to write the accounts and shepherd the workers. RamaKrishna did his job perfectly.

It was a great honor for RamaKrishna, who had to stand with his hands clasped in front of many at his birth home, to be greeted by several servants at his sister's house. The rich had a say in everything in those days when many were starving without getting a job. RamaKrishna used that power more than his sister's husband. If any servant showed him the slightest disrespect or did not listen to him, he tried in many way he could to torture them. For that he worked restlessly. Many people started referring to RamaKrishna as Sakuni as they saw that the name was for him due to his reputation.

RamaKrishna also hear that people were calling him Sakuni but he took it as a pride.

“If there is no Sakuni, in Mahabharata your Krishna Paramatma would not have had a job.”

RamaKrishna's iron grip was further strengthened by the death of ParthaSarathy's father a few years later. ParthaSarathy did not show the same interest in farm management as he did in studying. So RamaKrishna became untouchable.

He got married and brought his wife to his sister home. His wife was a mouthless insect. She also gave birth to two daughters and closed her eyes. Over time the mother of the ParthaSarathy also died. ParthaSarathy married RamaKrishna’s eldest daughter.

When ParthaSarathy was attracted by Rajadurai and entered politics and started coming forward in politics, he eagerly offered to help his son-in-law. RamaKrishna was the one who did more experimentation than him with what power could do with the gradual advancement of ParthaSarathy in politics. It is rare he visited son-in-law’s home in Hyderabad. She will come to see her father with her husband and children. On one occasion the second daughter and her family were embarrassed to come and meet him at the ParthaSarathy’s house after something minor upset between ParthaSarathy and his second son-in-law.

RamaKrishna had no choice but to look for another separate house for them. But he did not fail to come daily and participate in the political administration of the ParthaSarathy. After ParthaSarathy became a minister, it is RamaKrishna who decides how much to collect in crores and keep it safely. Many people acted accordingly knowing that if anything shoul be one by ParthaSarathy it would only be possible if they go through RamaKrishna and satisfied him first. RamaKrishna also sent a quarter of his earnings to the family of his second daughter, who did not earn this much. It was found by the ParthaSarathy but did not complain.

RamaKrishna thought and did it diligently, knowing how to ruin the lives of the officers, opponents and servants who had not respected him in the midst of various jobs. Money and power helped make it better than ever. To many he became a bad dream. The name Sakuni also became popular in Tamil Nadu politics. Sometimes it seemed to the ParthaSarathy that the uncle is behaving cruelly unnecessarily.

But that cruelty was not going to stop it if he realized early on that the man was as important as breath and food. Some of them had complained about him both directly and indirectly.

"I do not even like, what to do, he is old, he cannot change," Parthasarathy will deal with those complaints.

At one point when the complaints about RamaKrishna reached as far as Rajadurai, he called ParthaSarathy and warned.

"Sarathy, restrain your uncle a little”

Only then ParthaSarathy did warned his uncle.

"Uncle, do whatever you want. But see that the news doesn’t reaches C.M. It is fatal. He is very strict at certain things. ”

It was only after that that RamaKrishna began to exercise some control.

ParthaSarathy wondered who would be playing with his uncle, who had been a bad dream to so many, would lose sleep and mourn like this. The fact that they now have the power to destabilize their political life made ParthaSarathy realize the scale of the danger. He understood clearly that something had to be done immediately.
