Too Late To Realize Chapter 12

Marcell chuckled, because the video game activity he had been doing had to be stopped because his house bell rang. Marcell tried repeatedly to ignore it, but the noise from his doorbell made his ears buzz.

With lazy footsteps, Marcell moved from the living room sofa to the door. Who on earth would come to the house at this time of night?

Once the door was fully open, Marcell immediately rounded his eyes, he was surprised.

"What are you two doing here?!" snapped Marcell, looking at Erza and Novan's faces in turn.

"We're both guests, how come people are visiting you and you're so angry, especially when the guest is a handsome boy like me," grinned Erza as he raised his index and middle fingers into the air to form a V.

With a small chuckle and a lazy roll of his eyeballs, Marcell said, "What exactly do you two need to come here? It's late at night anyway."

Without waiting for Marcell's approval, Erza and Novan immediately entered Marcell's house.

"You two answer my question first," Marcell snapped while following the footsteps of his two friends, who were walking towards the sofa.

"I want to play, I'm bored at home," said Novan after he landed his butt on the sofa.

"No way, go away!" Marcell grabbed Novan by the wrist and dragged him out of the house. But Novan wouldn't comply, instead, he rebelled.

"You're rude to Cell's guests," Erza scolded, shaking his head.

"Never mind, I know how typical you two are. I'm done letting you into my house again."

Marcell suddenly remembered the incident when Novan and Erza played at his house first, at that time, they both messed up Marcell's room until it was very messy. No wonder Marcell was not willing to receive guests if the guests who came were those two boys.

"Go away, you two, do I need to call security first?" Marcell ruffled his waist while staring at his two friends with a sharp glint in his eyes.

"Instead of being so emotional, let's play a game, there, you make us a drink first!" Novan ordered Marcell while pointing his chin towards the kitchen.

Marcell closed his eyes briefly, then exhaled repeatedly. It was a good thing they were his best friends, otherwise, the bones in their bodies would be gone.

"You two unlucky guests, just watch out if I come back and this room becomes a mess, don't expect both of your lives to be saved," Marcell said seriously.

"How sadistic of you," Erza muttered while chuckling lightly.

Not long after, Marcell returned to the living room with three glasses of water and a light snack he had bought some time ago.

Marcell threw himself on the sofa with relief after putting all the drinks and snacks on the table.

"How stingy are you, Cell," Erza grumbled after looking at the dishes Marcell brought.

"What?" Marcell didn't accept it, now he sat up straight, looking at Erza with sharp eyes.

"Guests are only given water, that's too stingy!" Novan also commented.

Marcell rolled his eyes, Novan and Erza's behavior really tore at his emotions. "You two are just guests, so you can't protest what is served by the host, do you understand?"

"A house this big, you only give us water, you're so stingy you can't help it," Novan chided again, sneering constantly at Marcell constantly.

"So what do you two want? Milk, syrup, or sewage?" asked Marcell with emphasis at the end of his sentence. After that, Marcell gritted his teeth because he was too annoyed with all his best friend's behavior.

"Yes, water, syrup, I taste watermelon, what flavor do you want, Van?" Erza looked at Novan for an answer.

"I'll just drink milk, but can I have your mom's milk?" Novan chuckled, while Marcell, who heard Novan's words just now, immediately rounded both eyeballs wide. Not only that, Marcell picked up the sofa cushion next to his seat and threw it vigorously until it hit Novan's head.

"It hurts!" grumbled Novan as he groaned in pain.

"Yes, yes, I'll just follow Erza, watermelon syrup tastes the best," he said in one breath. Then his gaze shifted to look at Erza, who was pointing a thumb at him.

"What are you waiting for? Hurry up and make it!" Novan snapped impatiently because Marcell was still holding his position.

For the umpteenth time Marcell let out his breath, and then after that he had to adjust his breathing so as not to rush too much, "Your watermelon syrup, where is it in my house, don't make it up!" Marcell shouted irritably, he stomped his foot on the floor because he was annoyed to death.

"Well, if you don't have it, just change your mother's milk, your mother's milk is big, Cell," Erza said while laughing out loud.

"You're so shameless, you should just get out of here instead of making me angry," Marcell scolded furiously.

"Yes, Cell, we're just joking, right, Za?" Novan's words received a hundred percent chin nod from Erza.

"Where is your mother Cell, how come the house is quiet, I just realized," said Novan while sweeping the view of the large house owned by Marcell's family.

"Out of town, on business. Maybe I'll be home alone for the next few weeks," Marcell replied casually, putting his back against the chair because he was too tired to fight with Erza and Novan.

"Well, I've lost my life." Suddenly, Novan had a sullen look on his face, his face suddenly shaded.

"What's wrong with you?" Erza nudged Novan's arm with his elbow.

Novan, who received such treatment, spontaneously turned to Erza and said, "Well, I'm sad because Marcell's mommy isn't at home, if she were, I could wink and spoil her," explained Novan lightly, a second later, he grinned.

Marcell reflexively sat up straight while throwing a fierce look at the two boys who were laughing loudly. Marcell was really angry to see that.

"You cursed guests, here's something for both of you!"

Marcell then took two glasses of water that were in front of him and did not hesitate to splash them violently until it hit both of their clothes.

Suddenly, Novan and Erza's laughter that floated in the air immediately dimmed, they were so shocked by Marcell's unexpected behavior.

"Marcell, what the hell are you doing?" Novan immediately became angry, and he wiped his wet shirt.

"It's annoying, it's really rude to your guest, Cell." Now it was Erza's turn to grumble.

Marcell's cynical smile was clearly printed, he did not regret his actions at all. "How can I be polite with guests like you two? I don't want to," Marcell said firmly. "Feel the consequences!" he said again until Novan and Erza pursed their lips together.

The next day at school.

In the classroom, Marcell swayed his lips, the behavior of his two best friends last night still occupied his brain to think about it again.

Marcell was so sick of Erza and Novan. Soon, his eyes caught the two boys who were walking towards him, and Marcell immediately rolled lazily both eyeballs. Upset? Definitely.

"Cell, let's go to the cafeteria, I'm really hungry, if you come, it's not bad. Later you will tempt Mrs. Endah to give you a discount like usual," Erza chirped happily.

Marcell threw a sarcastic look and said, "No, you just go there yourself. I'm not coming," he snapped back.

"Well, come on, Cell, it's not cool," Novan also scolded in a disappointed tone of voice.

"I said no, no, your ears are still working, right?" Marcell rolled his eyes, then folded his arms in front of his broad chest.

"That's fine if you don't want to, but remember, when your mom comes back from out of town, you call me."

Spontaneously, Marcell immediately formed his eyes into balls when he heard the words that came out of Novan's mouth, "What do you want?" he asked fiercely.

"I want that," he replied casually.

Marcell was ready to throw his shoes at Novan, but Novan had already run away in Erza's direction, leaving Marcell's bench.

When Marcell was forced to put on his shoes again, he was really annoyed with the behavior of his two best friends. Marcell couldn't understand how he could meet them and become their best friend.

Marcell felt like pinching Novan and Erza's heads one by one. Sighing in frustration, Marcell chose to look around. Now, Weeby was no longer by his side.

The next second, Marcell saw Weeby, who was already sitting on the bench with Uti. Ah, Marcell was really upset. What can be done now? He can't bother Weeby anymore.

Without realizing it, Marcell had coughed and groaned in annoyance.

Weeby then turned to Marcell, just to make sure that he was okay when Weeby was no longer sitting next to him.

"Are you looking at me? I'm really handsome."

Weeby immediately rolled her eyes lazily, and when her gaze made contact with Marcell's eyes, Marcell said fiercely.

"Who's looking at you? Don't be so confident!" Weeby raised her eyes in exasperation.

"Watch out if you miss sitting with me," Weeby said as she flashed her lopsided smile.

"I do miss it," Marcell said quickly.

"I knew it." Weeby then smiled dimly at Marcell.

"Yes, I miss bothering you."

After that last word slipped smoothly from Marcell's lips, it wasn't long before the boy was already laughing out loud. Of course, it took Weeby's emotions away. Seeing Marcell laugh like that annoyed Weeby.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Resti was now lonely, without Lina and Indah to irritate her. All she did was stay quiet, occasionally crossing out her book. completely different from the usual Resti. Resti had deliberately not moved classes yet because Ms. Lila had not caught up with her and escorted her to the class that would be her new place.

Resti immediately raised her head from the table when Mr. Simon entered her classroom.

"Resti, Bu Lila is waiting for you outside."

And well, this is how Resti ended up having to leave her class. Lazily, she stood up from her seat and pulled out her bag.

Back to Marcell and Weeby. Usually, if it was early in the morning like this, Weeby would fight with Marcell. For some reason, Weeby felt lonely without it.

For a few seconds, Weeby swept her gaze towards Marcell's bench, where the boy was sitting alone while busy playing with his cell phone.

Weeby spontaneously smiled slightly, and Marcell looked very focused.

The next second, Weeby chose to focus on looking forward. Weeby immediately choked up, rounding her eyes wide, when she saw Resti walk into her class. Weeby knew that this girl was very popular in this school.

"Please pay attention, everyone be quiet, there is information that I want to convey to all of you."

It was only now that Weeby realized that the class was silent, which was unusual.

Ms. Lila continued her speech. "Here, you will get new students, sorted from other classes, and hopefully you can make friends and respect each other."

The counseling teacher looked at Resti for a moment and said, "Now, you get acquainted first, then sit on an empty bench," Bu Lila ordered and got a chin nod from Resti. The girl was so forced.

"Hello everyone, my name is Resti, and I think you already know who I am. Do you have any questions?"

No one raised their hand, either out of fear or to deal with the girl.

After a short time, Mrs. Lila finally left the classroom, while Resti looked for an empty seat. Weeby's tail followed Resti as she made her way to the empty seat. And of course, there was only one empty seat left, which was next to Marcell.

Weeby saw Resti, who was waltzing towards Marcell's bench. Weeby admitted that Resti's face was very beautiful to look at.

Resti sat next to Marcell, and Weeby hurriedly looked away in any direction because Marcell's eyes were directed at her. Weeby didn't want to say that she often glanced at Marcell. She didn't want that to happen.

With a perfect smile, Marcell looked at Resti, who was now his seatmate.

"Hi, I can sit here, right?" asked the straight-haired girl.

Marcell nodded his chin twice.

After the beautiful girl landed her ass on the bench, she immediately turned to Marcell and smiled. Marcell didn't respond to that. However, he acted as normally as possible.

"I'm Resti. You're Marcell, right?" Resti stuck out her hand.

"Yes, I'm Marcell, and I already know your name, right in front of you, already introduced earlier, besides, I also know you," Marcell answered frontally, making Resti laugh awkwardly. That's true too. Marcell then continued, "You were the one who told the younger siblings in the cafeteria, remember?"

Resti just shrugged her shoulders, not caring. She chose to change the subject. "I see you're handsome too, huh?"

"Oh sure, Marcell is," Marcell said in a high tone of voice, he then patted his chest twice, not stopping there, Marcell also puffed his body forward, intending to brag.

Resti nodded her head repeatedly. "Your eyebrows are really thick, beautiful."

Hearing that, Marcell immediately smacked his lips. "How beautiful, my eyebrows should be handsome," Marcell grumbled, pretending not to understand what Resti meant.

There's no denying that Resti is a little amused to be interacting with Marcell, even though she remembers that when she was in the cafeteria at that time, Marcell was very annoying.

"I mean, your eyebrows are beautiful, but I only call you handsome when I see your face," Resti emphasized what she had just said.

"You're not pretending to compliment me, are you?"

Resti suddenly looked confused. The frown etched on her forehead said it all.

"Yes, you're really handsome, I'm not lying, what's the point?" Resti finally replied.

"Well, just in case you want to win me over so I can let you sit next to me. And oh yeah, no one ever said I was ugly, I was born handsome."

Resti smiled, it was cool talking to Marcell, she thought.
