Blossom tried to hide her emotions. She didn't understand why she was affected by Erin's words. She didn't understand that even though she knew that Erin would mock her and even make her stressed, she couldn't stop herself from thinking if Erin was telling the truth.
“Well, he asked me if I plan to get pregnant. And I told Leo that I was not ready for it. He even told me what a man should do to make the woman prepared to get pregnant. Did you know that after that, Leo didn't want me anymore? And I'm sure that he told you that he wanted a child, too.” Erin smiled and gave Blossom an innocent smile before she clapped her hands.
“Congratulations, you are pregnant right now. And I will tell Leo I'm willing to take the child for him. You don't need to worry because I will love your child like I love and support you.” Erin added. She crossed her arms and was about to touch Blossom on her arms but stopped when she heard a fake cough.
“Ms. Blossom, I didn't even know you had a welcome visitor today.” Jane wiped something on her clothes, and she was panting because she almost thought Erin might have done something to Blossom. Well, she recorded everything to make sure that Blossom would be delicate.
“Hi, I am Jane, Ms. Blossom's secretary.” Jane forced a smile on her face, but she crashed her teeth when Erin smiled at her. Jane laughed sarcastically before she moved closer to Erin.
“Wait, you are the famous one, right? I'm thinking about where I see you. You are a trend in social media for ruining someone's marriage. I don't think that the media will be not happy once I send my proof here that you are acting entitled here. How could you go there when you saw that I wasn't here?” Jane added; she crossed her arms and arched her brow at Erin. She pursed her lips and gave Erin a scoff. She took her phone and played the video that she had recorded.
“Erin, I don't even know you, but I will make sure that you will feel what the hell it is for making her think that way. Do you want me to prove how powerful I am?” Jane smirked when she saw how Erin's face turned angry.
“Who are you, bitch? You are just a mere secretary. You didn't have the power to detain me in prison.” Erin mocked, which made Jane laugh loudly. Jane's expression turned cold, which made Erin stunned and conscious.
“If I tell you who I am, the excitement will be out here. Erin, I know how slut you are, and if you are trying to make Blossom feel jealous and secretly blaming herself. I won't ever let you do that.”
“Huh? A bitch like you dared to tell me those words? What can a secretary do to me? You are nothing but a beggar. You work for someone's company because you are poor and do not have any cents in your pocket. Why don't you help me with this? I can pay you more than how much Blossom paid you!” Erin rebutted.
Blossom felt anxious when she glanced at Jane; she trusted her so much but was afraid she might feel betrayed again. She hoped that Leo would return to their room as soon as possible. She needed to protect the baby in her tummy.
“Pay me? Are you fucking kidding me? I do think that you can't afford my dignity, Erin. Let's be real; you are nothing without your parents' support. You are nothing but a well-known spoiled brat feeling mistress here in this world? If you dare to ask me again how much I am, I will ensure you will meet my hand once I slap your thick face!” Jane sighed deeply, and she felt that her blood was boiling when Erin acted on how powerful she was. She was a Fontaine, and how could Erin belittle her because she was a secretary?
For Jane, Erin had no right to degrade and humiliate her. Every penny in her pocket was what she worked for, and she could boast about it. She had a lot of money that she could slap in Erin's ugly face if she exposed her identity.
“You fucking bitch! You didn't give importance to your life, huh?” Erin screamed in anger and quickly moved towards Jane. She was about to slap Jane when a large palm stopped her. Erin was astounded; she didn't notice someone inside the room since she was so happy that she could make Blossom feel miserable for a short time.
Erin glimpsed at the owner of the large hands, and she gasped when she saw it was Wade. It was Leo's friend; she was sure of that because she had seen him multiple times at a party. Erin tried to pull her hand, but Wade didn't let her.
“Damn you! I will tell this to Leo!” Erin struggled even more when Wade had no plans to free her. She even watched how Jane grinned at her.
“Erin, I didn't even know that after you tried to ruin Blossom's marriage, you still had a face to go here. Do you want to congratulate her on having Leo's child? What would Leo think if he found out about this? Well, of course, he knew.” Wade's tone was too severe, which made Erin gulp in fear. When she peeked at the door, she saw Leo watching her like a lion protecting his territory. She felt her heart clenched in anger.
“L-Leo, did you see how they make fun of me?” Erin slowly let the tears come out of her eyes. She knew that Leo would be weak whenever he saw her crying. She sobbed and slumped on the floor as if Jane and Wade were bullying her.
Erin was such a great actress, and Jane watched her without sympathy in her eyes. “You aren't a model, but a drama actress. It would help if you tried to act in a theater where they need someone like you. A two-faced bitch!” Jane commented, and she gazed at Leo, who was still silent from the corner.
“Erin, what are you doing here? Did you have other plans for my wife?” Leo finally asked, which made Erin glance at him. She was full of disbelief when she noticed how enraged Leo was. Erin swallowed, and she didn't know what she would do or answer Leo's inquiries.
“L-Leo, they are trying to bully me. Did you see your wife watch me getting bullied by her secretary? I went here to ask Blossom if she's alright, but her secretary accused me of bullying her.” Erin bit her lips, she sniffed, and she knew how her mascara was smudged on her face. She was prepared for this, and she would make sure that Blossom would see that Leo believed in her.
Leo always believed in her, and she was his other half; that's what Erin thought because she was too special in Leo's heart. She still recalled how Leo acted and even treated her when Blossom wasn't in their country. She could feel that she was the Mrs. Fontaine of his life, and she would make sure that she would get that title, whatever it caused.
Erin tried to have Leo's sympathy, which made Blossom's eyes turn unhappy when she saw how Leo blinked several times. She thought that Leo would believe in Erin since she was used to it. Blossom felt her vision spinning and her forehead starting to sweat.
“Leo, did you believe me right? Do you know that I am not that kind of woman? I have been Blossom's friend for a long time.” Erin acted like she was deeply hurt and worked that she tried to stand up. When she gazed at Blossom, she made her see how she smirked at her.
Of course, she knew that Blossom would think she won again this time; she always won when it came to Leo.
However, when Blossom witnessed how Erin changed her expression when Erin looked at her, she could feel nauseous since Erin was telling her that Leo would always choose her over his wife. And Leo wasn't talking, so she was afraid to get hurt again and again.
“This bitch! She's a drama queen.” Jane mumbled; she was about to attack when Wade grabbed her waist to make her stop. Blossom wanted to ask about Jane's man because she was sure that Wade was friends with Leo. She had a lot of questions in her mind, and she would be crazy f she didn't get the proper answer.
Why does she feel that Jane wasn't an average lady that she hired as her secretary? She knew how intelligent Jane was, and she could even build her own company.
“Leo, did you hear how Blossom's secretary called me a bitch? She's the one who tried to trigger me. I went here because I wanted to visit Blossom, and this lady started accusing me.”
“I am worried about Blossom because her accident was reported, and I'm still her friend.” Erin gasped and started whining like a child. She was frustrated that Leo didn't even do anything or even hug her like he usually did to her.
Leo sighed. He glanced at his wife, who still had a pale face.
“Erin, I don't think you went here to have peace with Blossom. You know she is pregnant, but you went here and caused a scene. I am sure that her secretary wouldn't have reacted like that if she saw how good your intentions were.” Leo started with his conclusion. Seeing how mad Jane was made Leo think that Jane had caught Erin doing something nasty to his wife.
He still remembered how he saw Wade's worried expression when he was at the elevator. Wade informed him that Jane risked her life to go to the bathroom without Erin noticing it. At first, he couldn't believe it because he didn't even see that Erin was in the hospital, but now that he saw Erin inside Blossom's room, he was enraged.
Leo held his breath and walked towards his wife. He caressed her back when he noticed how tense Blossom's body was. “Erin, I don't even think you dare go here. Did you see how social media mocked your name? Why don't you defend yourself about the issue?”
Erin's expression looked like she had seen a ghost. She might be insulted and humiliated by anyone, but she didn't like to defend her name. If she defended her title, Blossom would find out everything, so she didn't let her be happy with her dream man.
“Leo, did you even think that Blossom did that to humiliate me? She wanted those bashers to throw hate on me.” Erin didn't know everything that she would say. She felt she was in a big trap, and if she did something or said to defend herself, she would be put in jail.
“Erin, are you accusing my wife that she wanted someone to bash you? Do you have any proof that she did everything on purpose? Seriously, I Don't even think enough of a reason to make her do that. Blossom was too innocent.”
“Did you forget how you tried to sabotage her dress when she had a ramp? I do think that maybe you are trying to make me mad at her without asking about her explanation.”
Blossom felt her heart was about to explode when she heard how Leo was trying to defend her. She gulped, and her fear slowly went away from her. She was thankful that Leo finally learned how to ask or even think before he concluded everything.
“Leo, are you trying to believe what Blossom might say to you more than me? I'm hurt, Leo. When Blossom left you, I was always here beside you. She's a manipulative bitch.”
“Are you trying to make me choose between you and my wife? Erin, if you think that my wife is manipulative, then I will be her willing victim. She can manipulate me whenever she wants.”
