Blossom's eyes made the guests mesmerized by her beauty. She tried hiding her emotion while walking on the red carpet with her husband, Leopold Fontaine. These guests could feel the tension that was about to come, and they were hoping that Erin wouldn't do anything wrong to ruin the party.
After all, those guests went to the party to have connections with Leopold Fontaine, and they all didn't want to waste their chance to have a short talk with him.
If it were not because of Leo, they wouldn't even have plans to go to the party, especially since Erin had issues with Leo and his wife. They all tried to stop talking when Leo walked with his wife and stopped when Robert went to them.
“Leo! I'm glad that you are here; I'm thankful that you bring your wife, too.” Robert exclaimed. He was amazed at how beautiful Blossom was. He fully understood why his nephew was too obsessed with Leo's wife. Blossom's beauty wasn't too ordinary, and her beauty looked innocent and cunning simultaneously.
Leo smiled, “Yeah, I want to bring her with me. After all, I'm so proud of having my wife with me.”
“Oh, you're such a sweet husband, Leo,” Robert commented; he smiled at Blossom with sincerity which made Sophia walk so she could see Blossom.
Sophia's eyes sparkled as if she saw her crush, and Blossom noticed her, which made Blossom purse her lips.
”Leo, it will be significant that you two are here. Aside from that, I can finally see your wife and notice why you are in love with her.” Robert was full of sweet words in his mouth, and he couldn't stop himself from admiring Blossom's face.
“Nice meeting you, uncle Robert. I was Erin's friend, and I didn't have a chance to meet you. Sadly, our friendship ended.” Blossom sadly smiled before she glimpsed at Erin, Blossom noticed that Erin was fuming mad, so she gave Erin a sweet smile.
The group of women who were listening started murmuring that the news they heard was accurate. They were all disgusted because Erin betrayed Blossom for the man's sake.
“Oh, I didn't know about it. I thought you didn't even know each other.” Robert was confused, but he slowly realized what his daughter had done to Blossom. Robert was too disappointed because of Erin, and he was thankful that Sophia was still with him.
He remembered what Sophia had told him. Sophia didn't want him to announce that he was the one that he chose to be his successor; instead, she wanted Robert to choose between Storm and Erin.
Robert couldn't understand because he was too willing to support his daughter in her studies, and he wanted her to get the company because that's what his conscience made him want to do.
But, Robert discovered that their company had a lot of debts, and Sophia told him that she couldn't do anything to help the company, and there was a big chance that their investors would pull out their shares once they found out that Sophia was the one he chose.
Sophia didn't want him to suffer, especially their company, so Robert had no choice but to choose between Erin and Storm.
Robert faked his cough and ushered Leo and Blossom to their seats. They all have the guests attention, and they are all waiting for their time to have a conversation with Leo.
“Ms. Blossom, how are you? Do you still remember me?” Sophia asked, which made Blossom widen her eyes in surprise. Blossom's lips curled, and she bit her lip to suppress herself from laughing.
Blossom smiled before she said, “Yeah, of course, you are Sophia. Oh, it looks like you are too close to the party's host.”
Sophia crossed her arms and chuckled like a shy lady who made Erin frown, who was watching Sophia and Blossom from afar.
“I still can't believe that you still remember me. You met me once, making my heart flutter because you didn't break your promise.” Sophia tried to act naturally, like a fan girl who saw her long-time idol.
Blossom peeked at Leo, and when she saw that Erin was rushing towards them, Blossom's eyes sparkled.
“Sophia, what are you doing?” Erin gritted her teeth and held Sophia tightly. Erin didn't notice that Robert was watching her intently, but Sophia knew, so she acted like she was hurting.
Sophia began to wince, which made Robert feel mad at Erin.
“I told you that she is not a good influence, right? Sophia, you should listen to me when I told you that!” Erin exclaimed; she didn't even know that because she was annoyed, she was hurting Sophia.
Sophia's eyes formed tears, and some guests felt pitied of her. While Blossom was clenching her teeth, gently pushing Erin away from Sophia.
“She's my sister! Bitch, you didn't know her at all.” Erin angrily almost yelled, but Blossom didn't even speak, and she only pushed Erin away to Sophia once again, which made Erin fall on the floor.
“Blossom!” Erin was fuming mad; her face was red. She gripped her hands, and all she could see was red. She blamed Blossom for ruining her party and her plans to get Leo again.
Sophia widened her eyes, and she gazed at Blossom as if they were talking to each other using their eyes. Sophia rushed to Erin in worry, but Erin pushed Sophia away from her, which led Sophia to fall to the floor.
“Erin, what are you doing to your sister? I can't believe this!” Robert screamed; he went to Sophia and helped Sophia.
Blossom checked Sophia. “Her nose is bleeding. Oh my!” Blossom panicked and grabbed Sophia to ask someone for help.
But Erin didn't let Blossom; she thought that Blossom was trying to get the guests' attention, and she would ensure she couldn't.
“Ouch!” Sophia winced in pain when Erin grasped her hand, and Erin's nail clenched her skin. Robert was astounded, which made Amelia rush to her daughter.
Amelia felt irritated, but she was trying to maintain her smile. “Erin, get back to your senses,” Amelia whispered to Erin; she pinched Erin's waist, which made Erin stop what she was doing.
Brea and Blossom saw Amelia's action, but they both didn't say anything. Erin quickly obeyed her mother like always, but something was different.
“Please, bring this lady to the clinic,” Leo uttered, which made the other guests finally get back to their senses.
Most of the guests couldn't believe that they would watch a family drama, and all they blamed was Erin. Storm was trying to prevent his laugh when he saw Erin give her a death glare. He whistled and shook his head.
”I told you this is your great opportunity. Erin is such a mess, and now that your uncle witnessed how messed she was, he would choose you as his inferior.” Storm's father spoke, and he let Erin and Amelia hear what he was trying to say, which stunned Amelia for a moment.
Erin was gnashing her teeth; she didn't even blame herself for her actions; all she blamed was only Blossom.
“Mom,” Erin was about to call Amelia, but Amelia stopped by looking at her with madness. Erin stopped and gulped in fear.
Amelia massaged her temple. It looked like Storm and his father knew that this would happen, so they all knew that Erin wouldn't have a chance at all.
“You're stupid! You didn't even use your fucking brain!” Amelia whispered as she grabbed Erin and let her feel her wrath.
“This is Blossom's fault. She's the one who pushed me to react violently!” Erin reasoned out, which made Amelia push her inside the room and slap her.
Erin was shocked because of what her mother had done to her. She couldn't believe that Amelia would slap her once again.
“I want you to do the right thing, or you will lose your chance! Erin, use your small brain. Did you get me?” Amelia almost spits those words in anger, which makes Erin nod at her.
Erin was calmed when she went back to the party; she saw Blossom was drinking champagne. Blossom was surrounded by the wives and women, which made Erin feel mad again. It was she who had that position, and Blossom retook her chance.
“My cousin, you shall not do it again. Auntie Amelia will be mad at you again.” Storm chuckled when he moved closer to Erin. He watched Blossom and hoped that he was the one who was sitting beside her.
Erin scoffed. She didn't need to get mad at Storm because she was sure that Storm would lose his opportunity.
”I didn't know that you liked to be the owner of our company. Storm, I want to remind you that this challenge isn't part of our real deal, right?” Erin smirked, which made Storm stunned.
Storm nodded but couldn't promise himself that he would accept Erin as the new owner of their company. He knew their company wouldn't be in great hands once Erin managed it.
All Erin could do was waste the money multiple times, but Storm couldn't hide that Erin was the undefeated enemy he had ever had.
Erin was full of schemes, and what Erin did to Blossom was such ample proof that she had no conscience.
Storm uncomfortably laughed because he could feel Erin was trying to warn him. So, if she did something nasty behind his back, which led him to be removed as one of the candidates, their deal was still a deal.
Erin evilly smiled before she tasted her champagne. “Calm your balls, cousin. I'm not like that because I know you are more qualified to inherit my father's company.”
Storm felt his heart clenched in nervousness, but seeing Erin smiling at him, he removed his doubt.
Blossom secretly stared at Erin, who was talking with Storm. She pursed her lips when she saw Brea was flirting with some men while her husband looked jealous. Brea winked at her, but there was a man in Blossom's back, which made Brea almost puke her drink.
‘This woman, I can't believe she dared to wink at a man!’ Brea's ex-husband thought, and he was fuming furious in jealousy.
Blossom took her phone and messaged someone that they needed. She smiled and felt excited about what Erin would do. Storm and Erin teamed up, and Blossom wanted them to attack each other like she wanted them to.
Blossom even sends a message to Sophia to prepare for their surprise to Storm and Erin. Hours passed, and she saw Sophia leaving, returned to her place, and watched Erin and Storm take their drinks.
