A lot of guests were happily chattering about their business. Erin was too excited while she was wearing her most expensive gown. She was holding a glass of champagne while she was watching some of the group of women who were too busy talking about her.
Erin was sure that those women were talking about her because those women kept looking at her as if she had done something terrible toward them. Erin tried to maintain her sweet smile even though she wanted to grab their hair.
Erin didn't see Brea, who was looking at her. Brea wore a revealing fitted gown, and her cleavage was almost showing. When Brea saw that the three women had gone to the toilet, she followed them.
Brea would make sure that Erin wouldn't didn't have a face to expose herself to all of the people at the party. Brea smirked when she saw that the three women had gone inside the cubicles, so she took her phone.
“Hello, yes! I'm at the party.” Brea acted like she was having a conversation with someone. She went inside the vacant cubicle and locked it.
“Yeah, I know. I can't believe that Erin could do that. Oh, did you know that her mother was a mistress, too? So, maybe, she was like that because of her mother.”
“Yeah, I found out that she's a mistress, and there's a big chance that she is the one who killed Sophia's mother. You know, I'm a big fan of Blossom, and I'm scared for her. Erin will do anything to get Leo back in her hands.”
“Yeah, Erin and Blossom are friends, but Erin betrayed her. I pity Blossom for having a friend like her. Aside from that, she slept with her friend's husband, too.” Brea ensured her voice was too loud, so she flushed the toilet before she grinned.
Brea bids her goodbye to the caller even though there's nothing. She went out of o the cubicle, and she saw that the three women were still in the bathroom. She was sure that those women were listening to what she was going to say.
When she left, the three women came out from the cubicle, and they were all staring at each other as if they had found surprising news.
“Erin is Blossom's friend? I can't believe that she betrayed her! She's a slut!”
“Yeah, I agree with you. We can't believe that her mother is a mistress, too. And a murderer!”
Brea was too busy typing on her phone when someone grabbed her hand and pulled her into the hallway. When she smelled the perfume, she didn't even dare to restrain herself because she knew that it was her ex-husband.
“What are you doing here, Asshole? Oh, it looks like Erin invited you here. You should be with her; she looks sad alone.” Brea mockingly uttered. Brea pushed the man, but the man held her shoulders too tight.
The man glared at her, and his sight went down on Brea's chest. He gnashed his teeth and tightened his grip on Brea's shoulder.
“Brea, we got a divorce, and now you're acting single here at this party.” The man angrily gasped and tried to calm himself.
“It's because I'm literally single, so I want to enjoy my freedom now. It would help if you did that, too.” Brea smiled and pushed her ex-husband with force.
“Shut up. You are married to me. I want you always to remember that. You are mine, and how could you wear that clothes when I wasn't with you.” The man moved closer and tried to kiss Brea, but Brea moved her head to a different side.
Brea sarcastically laughed when she saw how her ex-husband gave her a murderous glare. Her hand rose and slapped the man on his face.
“You owned me when we weren't divorced, but not anymore, asshole.” Brea almost yelled; she sighed and tried to calm herself. She didn't like to create rumors about her, so she pushed the man in front of her again.
“Well, I will be married; I will invite you to my wedding. After all, we were friends when we didn't have a relationship.” Brea murmured, which made the man stunned for a second.
Brea was bluffing when she said those words. She wanted to step on her ex-husband's pride that she could be happy even without him. Brea went back to the party hall, and she was searching for Sophia.
She took her phone and messaged Sophia if where she was. Minutes passed when Sophia replied and told her she was with her father.
Erin grasped the bottle so angrily that the woman didn't even stop humiliating her. She thought that she would finally have a chance to explain herself, that's why she made sure that Leo was invited.
Amelia told her that she needed to clean her name since she would be the successor of their company. And Erin would use this party to make the others know she wasn't a mistress.
“Erin, Storm is here. Did you prepare your trap for him? If your father announces that he would be the one that he chose, there is a big chance that he will change his mind after Storm commits something terrible.” Amelia murmured to Erin.
Erin nodded, and when she glimpsed at Storm, she could see that Storm was already fine after the heart attack incident.
Erin put a smile on her lips, she knew that they both had a deal to break Leo and Blossom from each other, but they didn't have an agreement about the company, so Erin thought that Storm wouldn't mind if she removed him as the running candidate to be the successor of her father.
“Storm!” Erin called Storm and hugged him. Storm was astounded by her sudden embrace but quickly adjusted when he saw how some guests watched them.
Storm slowly realized that was part of Erin's act, so he smiled and hugged Erin back. He licked his lips to stop complaining because Storm knew how strong Erin was to become an enemy.
“It was too lovely to see you here tonight. I was in the hospital, too, when you were there. I hope you aren't mad at me because I didn't visit you.” Erin said she ensured some guests would hear what she was telling Storm.
Storm chuckled; of course, he knew how to play the game like Erin acted. “Oh, cousin, I'm not angry because I'm worried about you. It's alright; I do understand.”
Erin smiled when she noticed that the woman was watching her every move. She broke the hug and raised her champagne glass for Storm.
Storm took his glass and did what she did. They looked at each other as if they were ready to attack one another.
They didn't even notice that Sophia was watching them from the top. Sophia was holding her champagne glass, watching how Storm and Erin acted as if they loved each other as relatives.
“You're having a good day, Sophia,” Brea whispered, Brea, ensuring only Sophia was in that area. Brea checked what Sophia was watching, and she saw Erin and Storm trying to act as if they were good for each other.
“I didn't know that you like this sort of drama. My friend Sophia doesn't like it based on what I remember.” Brea added, and she laughed, which made Sophia chuckle at her.
“I don't like some dramas, and I wanted to make sure that I saw them killing each other because they both wanted their father's company. They would get that damn company once it's full of debt because of me.” Sophia murmured, which made Brea elegantly clap her hands and give her a reassuring smile.
Brea shook her head, “Okay, you're still my Sophia. I'm too excited to watch this drama; please, entertain us.”
“Let's see what Storm will do if he discovers Erin betrayed him. I know my cousin, and he is the man who didn't want to lose because of a woman.” Sophia muttered; she drank her champagne and grinned.
Brea faked her cough, ”But I know you will make sure he will lose because of you. My darling, you are still a woman. It's a big hit in his fucking ego. You should improve your acting and make them see that you are too nice to them.”
“Make them feel how to be abandoned by their loved ones. Make them feel miserable because they can't have what they want.” Brea added. Sophia nodded to her and smiled.
Sophia changed her plan; she wanted her father to announce that he chose her as the interior of their company, but she wanted something more. It would be good if Erin and Storm would get the company once it had a lot of debt on her, and once they found out that she was the one who lent the money, she was sure that Erin and Storm would be furious that she played with them without them noticing it.
“This will be good. What about Amelia? I already did what you told me to do. Darling, my talent fee was too high; I want you to remember that.” Brea jokes which make Sophia shake her head.
Sophia didn't even remove her eyes from her sister and cousin. She laughed sarcastically before she glimpsed at Brea.
“Brea, I want you to do a DNA test. I wanted to make sure why Amelia was too close to my uncle. I find out that Amelia is one of the uncle's ex-girlfriends.” Sophia spoke to Brea.
Brea widened her eyes, surprised. She nodded her head and took a deep breath. “I will do that; I will ensure you get accurate information. For now, let's watch Blossom now. Look, she's already here.”
They both looked at Blossom, who was wearing a black fitted gown. Blossom looked more stunning than usual, attracting most of the guests attention. They were all shocked when they saw that Blossom and Leopold Fontaine were at the party after the scandal of Erin breaking Blossom's marriage.
