You Belong To Me book 2 Chapter 18

“I will only ruin your relationship with Hinn Carlos because you belong to me and only me Ivana, the earlier you wake up from that dream of seeing Hinn Carlos as your boyfriend, the better for you.” I pointed at her to make it get straight into her head.

She gasped and I watched her eyes dilated as she watched me like a hawk, I crossed my arm, still staring at her, in the moment I thought she wouldn’t say anything, she voiced out in furry.

“Why do you think I belong to you?” She asked me the most unreasonable question and I smirked, leaning back to my chair.

I never imagined she would be so insensitive not to know my reason. “I spotted you first before Hinn Carlos and I won’t let you leave my sight this time.” I smiled.

There was silence in the room, she seemed to be giving thought to my words, she had no clue, she was just a dumbhead.

I was about to turn to continue when I heard her mocking laugh, I frowned. “What is funny?” I glared at her, I could remember I didn’t say anything funny.

“You…” She pointed at me still laughing as she sat on the sofa across from me. “Your IQ is low and here I was thinking you have retentive memories but you don’t.” I curled my hand to fist, she had just insulted me and it was quite offensive, but I waited for her to prove her point, it doesn’t seem like she was done talking.

“I met you the first day I moved into this house, but I have known Hinn Carlos for more than 6 years now.” She shook her head at me and leaned back in her chair. “You are just crazy to think you can claim me just by knowing me first, of course, we spoke to each other first, but the person that spotted me first and said kind words to me was none other than Hinn Carlos.”

I rolled my eyes. She had just met Hinn Carlos 6 years ago, but I have met her for a long time, she was I.k.

“You would always have a shit brain,” I told her indifferently and turn on the volume of the television in order not to hear more words from her.

“Why did you do it?” She called out, as much as I tried not to give her my attention, I was also curious about this new question.

“Do what?” I turn down the volume.

“You set that show for me, you wanted me to see it, the BHDS show.” She gazed into my eyes but I narrowed them.

“You are way over your head, I didn’t set the show for you, was that what Hinn Carlos told you?” I shook my head when she was mute. “Ivana, I can do other things than being romantic.” I sat up on the chair and smirked. “Don’t tell me you thought I did that because of you.” I shook my head. “I told you before, you shouldn’t delude yourself.

“Then why did you convince their manager and ask him to sing at that concert since it was close to the school? Hinn said you heard me and Kate talk about it that day, so tell me if that wasn’t true.” She raised her chin, her brows furrowed, she must be angry that her imaginations were not true this time.

“I owe you no explanations.” I turned to the television. “You will find out why they were here by tomorrow, so just go to your room.” I waved her off and turned on the volume of the television.

I could see her glare at me from the corner of my eyes, she hmph and got up from the chairs as she stomped upstairs. I smiled and shook my head. If that was her imagination then it wasn’t so bad. I was glad she had such thoughts in her mind, this only means she also thought about me while she was with Hinn Carlos.

The next day I got dressed for school as early as I could and sat down to eat breakfast, some toasted bread and fries with sweet tea. While I ate, I glanced upstairs, I was sure Ivana had not left for school yet.

I awoke early just to make sure she didn’t run off without having breakfast, I glanced down at my wristwatch, it was past six in the morning. Why isn’t she coming down?

Just as I was thinking in my head, I heard footsteps and there she was, in a blue dress that only reached her thing, white flats and her white bag over her shoulders, he hair bounced on her shoulder and back at every step she took and I noticed she wore light makeup and her blue eyes have glints in them.

Is she going on a date today?

“Have breakfast,” I said out loud as I pointed at the cup of tea I had made for her and the toasted bread with fried eggs. She studied me for a while and didn’t say a word as she sat on the dining chair across from me.

Ivana held the cup of tea while I gazed at her with wide eyes and a smirk on my face. She was about to drink it but hesitated and put it down and I exhaled sharply looking away from her immediately.

“Did you poison this?” Ivana asked me as I was about to sip my tea and I almost threw up because of her question.

I scoffed at her words. “Why would you think I will poison you?” I frowned.

“Why shouldn't I think so, you want me out of this house and now Mrs Jane is not here, you might just kill me and dump my body somewhere no one would ever find…” She stated.

I held the space between my brows. Does she see me as someone that horrible? I wasn't a monster.

“You watch too many dramas and always have silly imaginations in your head.” I rolled my eyes at her. “Just eat, let’s leave, we have an early practice today.” I signal her to eat up.

Ivana looked down at the tea once more, still hesitating. I wonder what she takes me for. “I would never kill what is mine,” I said firmly and she stared up at me with her blue eyes searching mine, I was sure she didn't believe what I said. “I didn’t poison you, so just eat.” I took a large bite on my bread and chewed.

Ivana was speechless as she exhaled sharply and lifted the teacup to her lips to take a sip while I watched her expectantly. The moment she took a sip of the tea, she spits them all out and jerked up from the dining chair while I burst into a roar of laughter.

“Bastard!” She barked at me as she rushed to the fridge, she grabbed a bottle of water and drowned them all at once.

I watched her and I couldn’t stop laughing, this was so hilarious. I got up and grabbed my bag as I walked over to where she stood glaring at me.

"What did you do that for?" She shouted and drank more water and poured them out into the sink. "You are so cruel!" She growled.

“You weren’t actually thinking I would make breakfast for you, were you?” I chortled.

“You are just an asshole, you told me you didn’t…” She was saying something when I cut her short.

“I didn’t poison you, I was only trying out a new recipe to make tea,” I touched my chin. “I guess that new recipe wasn’t great after all, I will have to try out a new one when next I am free, for now, I have to leave for school.” I pointed in the direction of the door.

I glanced at her. “Too bad you had another imagination in your head.” I shook my head and sniggered.

“You are just a mean jerk!” She shouted as I walked out of the mansion, chuckling.

I got into my car and drove out of the mansion. “Ah, steeping the tea and adding a lot of ginger to a cup of tea is really bad,” I smirked. “Robin, you should have just made her a sweet tea like yours instead.” I giggled and made a note to myself.

Never add too much ginger to a tea.

I rolled down the glass to let in some fresh air. It was a bright morning and after seeing Ivana that way I felt refreshed, it was great to start each morning with a smile on my face, I whistled.
