I walked into the practice room sweating all over and fuming in anger as I sat close to Kate who had waved me over, I looked back to where Hinn Carlos and the other boys sat, Hinn Carlos waved me with a smile, but I didn’t wave back, I was glaring at Robin who had a smile on his face with his brows wobbling with joy.
That monster!
I bite down my lips and curl my hands to fist, if only I can punch that smirk off his face. He had fooled me and I had believed him, I thought he had suddenly changed when he made breakfast and told me to eat up for him to give me a ride, I forgot devils don’t change.
I should have listened to the goddess in my head that told me he must have poisoned the tea, although it was not poison, I made a note to myself.
Never accept anything from Robin!
“Ivana are you okay?” Kate pulled me away from my angry thoughts and I turned to her. “Did you have to run to catch the bus again?” She looked up at my forehead that had a sweat pulse on them as I wiped it off.
“Yes.” I exhaled sharply to remove the anger in my heart and calm myself down.
“Why?” Kate looked at me with a raised brow. “I thought Robin has a car, you should have come with him instead, he arrived earlier, I saw him here when I came in.” I scoffed, if only Kate knew what Robin did then she would tell me to stay as far away from him as possible.
“Don’t tell me you overslept?”
“No, Kate, I didn’t.” I glanced over my shoulder in anger. “I didn’t oversleep, a devil tried to tempt me with a cup of tea, I fell for that temptation and almost lost my life,” I muttered.
“What?” Kate glanced over her shoulder in confusion. “Don’t tell me you now see ghosts, Ivana.” She shivered and braced herself.
I looked at Kate who was now looking around and I wondered how she would be this scared when there are a lot of people here, how can there be a ghost among us?
“That is not what I meant Kate.” I chuckled and placed my hand on her shudder. “There can’t be ghosts around,” I assured her, but she wasn’t quite convinced.
We were distracted by the footsteps coming from the entrance and my eyes dilated so as the rest of the students around me.
“Ivana, tell me I am not dreaming,” Kate whispered as her eyes were fixed in the direction mine was.
“I don’t know Kate,” I muttered like a child who had just seen a fallen angel.
Kate rubs her eyes. “It is truly him.” She breaks into a grin. “It is the BHDS leader,” Kate said out loud.
“Director Donald, why is he here?” I heard Katherine ask from behind with gritted teeth and I turned to look at her, her brows furrowed and her eyes were like daggers as they glared at the BHDS leader.
“Does she know him?” I whispered to Kate.
“I have no idea, I am as new as you in this school, but I think she has something against him,” Kate whispered back and I nod in agreement as we turned to the director to hear his response.
“Hi, Katherine.” The BHDS leader said her name and waved her with a smile, but her brows knitted more and the corner of her lips curled up.
“He knows her,” Kate whispered to me and I didn’t know why I felt angry because of that, it seems all the boys I know have a special something with Katherine and it angers me. She was, even so, special to get this guy to smile at her too, the same way Hinn Carlos and Robin Hiesten do.
The director ignored Katherine and turned to us. I was happy that the director seems to be the only one who doesn’t take her shits.
“Everyone, as you all know, this is the BHDS leader who has made it to stardom from our school, Ryan Billy.” The director introduced him and I learnt his name, it wasn’t so bad for a handsome guy.
“Hi everyone.” He waved at us cutely and for a while, his smiles charmed me and while the others waved back I just stared at him. He was tall, straight nose, cute eyes, side dimples and just like those celebrity crushes, well he was a star, but looking at him from here, he looked young and sexy…
“Don’t fall in love with Ivana, you have a boyfriend,” Kate whispered to me, drawing me out to reality and I shot her a glare.
“I wasn’t thinking about anything,” I told her and she giggled.
“I didn’t say you were, I just needed to remind you before you start having those nasty imaginations,” Kate said softly and I rolled my eyes.
“When did I?” I frowned. Kate can be so annoying at times.
“Oh come on, you always do when you see Hinn Carlos.” Kate shook her head.
“You were the one with the nasty imaginations,” I told her with a smile and she rolled her eyes.
“I know,” She looked at Ryan. “He is cute, but I think Robin is more handsome than him, no guy can beat Robin’s cuteness,” Kate said with a smile and I shook my head. She was the one who said she would stop here and requested love, but here she was still saying he looks more handsome.
“Everyone, in this year's anniversary, Ryan will be coaching the main lead and he will also join in the performance.” The director said out loud and I blinked in surprise while other students cheered out loud.
Was this what Robin told me I will find out when I get to school today? If it was then this would be awesome.
I turned my head to look at him and I noticed he was staring at me with dark eyes and a deep frown. That evil monster, I wonder what is in that head now. I looked away from him.
“No way,” I heard Katherine shout in anger and we all turned to look at her. “I disagree with that!” Katherine barked as she got up.
“Don’t worry Katherine I am not here to steal your glow,” Ryan said softly still with that cute smile of his. “I am here to help you.”
“Director, you can’t let him possibly do this, he is now a stardom and not needed here.” I saw tears cluster in Katherine’s eyes and I was curious as to why the Katherine I know will be so against this matter and even have teary eyes.
“Katherine, it has already been decided by the school board of directors, you should learn to accept him here.” Director Donald said.
“Well, I can’t.” Katherine picked up her bag and ran off the practice hall and I could hear her whispers in the hall. I looked at Kate and she shrugged, also looking as lost and curious as I was.
I look at Ryan who was staring at the door and then I heard a seat screeched behind me and turned my head just in time to see Hinn Carlos get up and went after Katherine, Ryan also excuses himself, the director nods and he goes after them.
What is really going on now?
