I couldn’t understand Robin at the moment, I was wondering if I had heard wrong, no, I haven’t heard wrong, just a few hours ago he had said I should stay away from him, this morning he had almost fed me poison and now he was saying he loves me?
“What?” I have to voice out, this came as a surprise to me although I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t expecting Robin to say he loves me, and now I was curious.
“Don’t think much about it.” He said before I could say anything as he let go of my hands. “Just leave my room.” He turned to head back to his bed.
I scoffed. “I don’t understand you, Robin, first you said you will only hurt me because you love me and now you say I shouldn’t think much about it, now you ask me to leave after saying this whole thing.” I walked to his front in anger. “Explain why you said that!” I lift my lips as I wait.
“Just leave Ivana.” He held me and led me to the door, instead I locked it behind me before he could send me out.
“You can’t just keep me hanging this way.” I turned to him with knitted brows. “I overheard everything you and Hinn Carlos said at the lobby, there are things I need an explanation for and you look like this… “ I paused.
“Ivana…”
“You should better start telling me all about it or I would have no choice but to spend the night in your room.” I lifted the keys to show him and put it into my dress then a smile crept through my face as his eyes darkened.
“What do you want to know?” Robin said softly, perhaps he must have figured out that I wasn’t joking with what I said, although I was playing with fire now.
“Why did you say, you love? Why did you say you will only hurt me? Why do you feel this way right now? What was the deal you and Hinn Carlos made? Was that deal concerning me?” I paused when I felt I had asked a lot of questions and wasn’t getting any answers yet.
“I told you, I spotted you first and don’t want to let you go, but I have to because I don’t know how to love a lady…” This was the same word Hinn had said, I could remember that. “I am afraid I will hurt you, I am a mess and you won’t be happy with me, Hinn Carlos was not meant for you, I was, but I am giving up that deal from today and about what is wrong with me, it is none of your business, now leave my room since I have answered all your questions.”
He said immediately and pointed at the door. He hasn't given me a satisfactory answer, but he has answered all my questions in one breath, the questions I thought were many weren't that way.
I still felt he wasn’t okay, if I leave he would break down in tears again, if I leave he would have to curl up and have many nasty thoughts again.
“If you don’t know how to love a lady, then let me teach you.” I looked at him and for a while, his eyes were fixed on me and he was staring at my face. “Let me teach you how to love.” For a while, I was happy that I was going to do something for him, but for the next few seconds, his eyes darkened.
“Get out of my room.” He stretched his hands to take the key, I backed away. “Ivana, give the key to me.” I held the part where I had placed the key tightly to make sure it didn't fall off.
“No, agree to my terms first. If you won’t tell me why you can’t love a lady, then let me teach you how to.” I looked at him as I kept backing away, his wet hair was dripping water as they rolled down his check down to his wet white shirt and I could see all his arms, I have seen his naked skin before, so it wasn’t new, but still, they look so handsome and…
I shook my head. What am I thinking now?
How are you supposed to do that?” Robin asked me as he stepped closer to me and I dodged when he was about to grab me.
“I will, you don’t know but, when I was a kid, I loved writing about romance. I can show you how a man can love a woman without hurting her.” Robin halts and so do I as we stare at each other for a while.
I was glad he didn’t have those sad eyes like before, I was glad I was keeping him busy with all these talks when I knew deep down that I didn't even know what I was saying to him.
How can I teach someone like Robin how to love a lady?
“I don’t think you can, just leave my room.” He stepped closer again and this time to escape him I jumped on his bed, it was a great move for me to escape him but wasn’t when a nasty imagination crossed my mind.
The night Robin had held me on this bed, the night I saw his naked skin, that was last night.
I shook that thought out of my head and was about to leave his bed when he caught hold of me and held me tight for me not to escape.
“Why do you keep tempting me, Ivana?” My eyes dilated at those words. “Don’t express shock silly, I told you I love you and you tempt me by saying you would teach me how to love, now tell me, do you love me back?” He raised his brows and for a while, my head spun.
What was happening? I thought Robin doesn’t know how to love, why was my heart misbehaving right now and he was damn right, why would I say such a thing, I have forgotten for a few seconds that he said he loves me.
Stupid me!
“You said you hate me in the garden that day, why do you now volunteer to teach someone you hate how to love?” Robin raised his brows. “Do you also think I am pathetic?” His eyes darkened and I blinked.
“No.” I voiced out.
“No, you do.” He said without hesitation and I felt his hands touch my upper dress, I was motionless ‘what is he doing now
“Ivana, do you love me too?” He asked me as he unbuttoned the top of my dress. I was too busy thinking about why he was touching me that I didn’t realize when he took the key and jiggled it to my face then he smirked.
“Silly girl.” He muttered and my brows knitted. “I told you, I would only hurt you.” He brushed his lips against mine and my eyes opened wide in surprise. “You want to teach me how to love, why don’t I hurt you first? Let’s see if you would have those thoughts in your head anymore.”
I was suddenly scared at his words and made a move to get up but he pinned me down, taking my two hands with his, he lifted it above my head and his lips covered mine. He slipped his tongue into my mouth as he kissed me roughly and I never knew Robin kisses would make my cheeks flush this way.
Our nose bumped, my heart was beating rapidly and so was his against mine as he pressed his body to mine, deepening the kiss and making sure to leave me breathless.
“Robin…” His name escaped my lips as he left my mouth as I was out of breath, he kissed my cheek and then let his wet tongue tease the nape of my neck and I felt tense and he worked for his hands below my thigh.
I was breathing heavily, I couldn’t stop him, my desire for his touch seemed stronger than the urge to leave this room. He slid his hands up to my thigh and I moaned as his lips found mine again, this time he kissed me softly and his lips felt warm.
“Ivana,” he whispered close to my eyes as he gave my earlobe a love bit and I fight the urge to giggle, I felt so warm as his body pressed down on mine, I was stretched under him and I shut my eyes to the touch of his hands that hand cupped my boobs.
“Why do you tempt me?” Robin whispered against my ear and he got up but carried me over his shoulder. My eyes dilated when I saw he was taking me to the door.
“Put me down!” I kicked him and he had to drop me, but he was still holding onto my hands so he pinned me close to the door while he unlocked it.
I looked into his eyes, I didn’t want to go, but he held my chin and lifted it, planting a soft kiss on it. “I can’t resist you, Ivana.” He said softly and his eyes bored into mine. “I want to have you, but not this way.” He told me softly.
“You can’t teach me how to love and I won’t accept your terms neither would I let you spend the night in my room.” I watched his forehead wrinkle and then it relaxed, he touched my cheeks softly. “Thank you for caring.”
I wanted to hug him but stopped myself when he opened the door. “Goodnight Ivana.” He said softly and stepped back to make room for me to leave.
I felt like I had been chased away after trying to force myself on a man that didn't want me. I didn't want to be on the losing side so I spoke up.
“Listen to me, I would teach you how to love a woman, and In turn, you would stand by me and train me while Ryan and Hinn train Katherine, I want to come out as the best.” I raised my chin and for a while he was silent.
“Then, deal.” He smirked.
Yes, I won’t let him win, I was going to bring him out of his shell one way or the order, now I know he wasn’t a man without emotions, he said he loves me, he was only scared and I was sure it has something to do with his past, I would find out and I would help him as he helps me with my dream.
