"Just calm down," I said to her while using sign language.
We were going to the dungeon of the said Alpha, and I was still praying while hugging my sister that we could get out of there alive. I know there are rumors that he is kind of low-ranked like us, but I need a powerful prayer.
But I noticed Shara had a cut on her leg and I just looked at her in disbelief and she just shrugged her shoulder. I was tossed like a shack of potatoes inside the dark and cold cage, and when Shara was tossed, I caught her small body and I felt aches all over me.
"Behave yourselves, plagues of the tribe! I don't know if that Alpha would have the gut to let you see another day." The man said his name was Terrance and then turned to spit on us, but luckily I avoided him.
And when the door shut, I was still hugging Shara. I placed her on a hanging chair and then let my cape down.
"You don't have to do this." She said this while using sign language, but I just smiled at her.
I closed my eyes, feeling the energy I would be conducting. Then I felt cold shivers and my eyes started to sparkle. I touched Shara's leg where her wound was placed, and then I slowly passed my hand through it. Shara's wound was healed as if nothing happened to her leg.
"All done!" I said to her with a smile and then she signed, "You shouldn't do that. Someone will see you and use you for your capabilities. " She said, and then I tapped her head using my two fingers.
"Acting like an older sister, huh? What are you doing in the woods then? What if I didn't get there right away? I told you it's not safe for us to wander around. " I said to Shara and she seemed upset and looked in a different direction. I was about to argue with her more, but the door opened and I was shocked.
We're not making a sound, because we don't know if he's a good Alpha or we'll be forced to ask who we work for.
"What are you doing in the woods that late?" He asked and he was in the dark. Only his chin was lighted by the moonlight.
I don't know what to say to him, but I'm very cautious.
"I told you she can't talk because she's deaf, but she was there to fix some plants for my auntie's medicine," I said to him, and my voice was trembling, I know I don't have any right to stand before him and talk the way I do.
"Please spare my sister's life." While hugging Shara, the man on the other side of the gate didn't talk, and when he stepped inside, it became colder around us.
"Fine, say goodbye to your sister!" He said, and my world felt like it was collapsing around me and those men around him entered the dungeon
"I'll be fine, Shara. Be home safe. " I said to her while using sign language and I kissed her forehead as I was being dragged and so was my sister in a much harsher way.
"Please don't hurt her, your highness," I said, but a hard hand was used to slap me.
"Isn't the Alpha enough to spare your sister's life? You're living a dream to make a lot of requests." An unfamiliar man said, and then I struggled to get their hold off of me and I was hit on the back of my neck hard, only leaving a sight where Shara was being dragged and everything went black.
I don't know, but I seem to be chasing a fever. Then I noticed that I was in a bath with lukewarm water and some lady in maid clothes was scrubbing me. I don't know, but I don't want them to take that dirt out of me because it serves as my camouflage and it made me run away from some deadly scenarios.
"Get off of me!" I said to the woman, and I stood up, and they all looked in different directions, and that's when I realized that I was completely naked, and I hurriedly got down, feeling embarrassed, and then the woman who was attending to me didn't speak.
Until I got dressed, I was itching all over my body and thought maybe the Alpha had sold me to some filthy rich guy, but that guy didn't have to worry, I could poison him and just get out of his chamber.
"Wait for the arrival of Master Axel, and behave yourself." She said, and I was shocked who's Master Axel?
I was locked in a room with lots of food and candles giving off a very fragrant smell. I was walking as I stood in front of a glass and I saw what they did to me. My hair was braided and there were tiny flowers placed on it. I had this huge ball gown and this was the first time I saw myself clean and then the door opened.
"I didn't know that slaves could be this beautiful." said someone and my thought was he could be Master Axel., and he was moving towards me.
I didn’t know what to do because I was restless. A memory was flashing before my eyes and it was the day I was held captive as well, by his parents, and now he's the Alpha.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Is the other way of knowing your hunt?" I asked and he smirked and said,
"Feisty."
"This will do, and you'll be my muse for tomorrow's ball." He said coldly, but I don't understand.
"I don't mean any harm, I just want you to help me." He said to me, and I was just looking at him.
And when he was close to me, he approached my neck and licked it, but because of my fast reflexes, I slapped him.
"What are you doing?" I shouted at him with a trembling voice.
"I'm not here to argue and you should be thankful because I needed something for you or else you should be shredded into pieces by now." He said it in a much colder tone.
"That's all I needed of you. Attend the ball and I'll set you free." He added and left me
With all of the amount of food he left me, I didn't have the slightest appetite to dig in on that luxurious food and decided to transform into a wolf and howl the agony I felt inside, hoping that my sister was escorted safely back into my Aunt's house.
And most importantly, how can Sophie calm down when she's held captive by the man she somehow fell for before?
