"Are you certain of what you saw, Axel? This is far worse than all the crazy stuff you do, and who was that girl? Did you know that it's all over town that you brought a slave to your facilities? And why are you here? Shouldn't you be home? " Hugo said, lecturing me.
I know what he's getting at, but I don't want to show people that I'm someone that's not prepared. If Rebecca is about to ask the Elders to untie her tie when we make a marriage, I'll do the same but far worse.
"He's not just any other girl, Hugo; she's special to me," I told him
"Ah, so you like filthy, not bathing, and look like a begging woman now?" Hugo asked as he tossed the can of soda to me, and I grasped it, making it pop.
"I can't tell you the details, but please watch what you say."
"Really dude? Acting like that for an Omega? " Hugo asked me, and I just signaled to him to toss me another can of beer for me to drink.
I don't know how it came to me, but that girl looked familiar. I just knew that she was close to me, but that look she revealed to me when she took a bath and dressed well was still on my mind. I didn't know that she was that beautiful without the mud and those baggy clothes. She almost looked like someone who was ranked as Luna.
"Are you even ready for tonight? Have you talked to Rebecca yet? You know that you will walk on the opening remark of the ball," Hugo said.
I don't know if Hugo is my friend or my father. He is very talkative and always lectures me, but what would I do without him? I've dealt with Rebecca for a few days, and she was acting normally. Rebecca asked me about dinner, but I acted like I forgot something and just made her eat everything. I was so disgusted seeing her lie to my face, but I was also broken inside knowing that the woman I loved was tired of me and ended up going for another man. Even worse, it is the Alpha on the other border.
"Yes, I'm ready. I just need to check on her quickly. "

I was in the chamber as before, and my 13-year-old was scared.
"Being an omega is a disgrace." My father said to my mother, "You should've decided to abort that child."
I didn't know, but I ran and ran until I didn't know I was in the forest, and I tripped. I was surprised when a wolf jumped in front of me, and I was stunned. I didn't know that I would encounter one.
I was amazed by his pitch-black fur and those eyes that shaded like blood. Some people would run by the sight knowing that it was an Alpha, but I was there and still looking at how beautiful it was, but a sack was placed on top of my head and my body was beaten poorly by people I don't even know. The last thing I knew was that the big werewolf was fighting those men, and I was being dragged, and then I lost my sight.
I was in a chamber, and it was cold. I took a deep breath, forcing myself to stand up to check if there were people. Mom and Dad were right; it was not easy being an Omega. You do not know how long you will live or when you will die.
I was about to heal myself when I heard a scratch somewhere inside the dungeon, so I grabbed a rock, and a boy older than me appeared in front of me, and I threw the rock I was holding at him.
"Ouch! I'm not a bad guy!" he said to me, and I was sobbing when I saw I had made a huge cut on his forehead. Then I felt guilty.
"Please don't tell anyone about this," I said to him and started to close my eyes and heal his wound, but I don't know if I healed him completely before.
"In return, I'll set you free." He said, and he was the first one who wasn't disgusted at me and even held out my hand.
How did I know that it was him? There was a parade and he was beside the late Alpha, so I was more afraid to approach him, but I didn't know that the deity could play this rough and that I was sitting face to face with the guy I healed and fell in love with years ago.
"This is just a simple contract, just for tonight," he told me, and then I agreed, knowing that I could get back to living a normal life.
"Can I ask what your name is?" He asked again and I sighed.
"Sophie, just call me Sophie," I said and then he left.
We hadn't talked again, and her maids made me ready. I wore this gold tube dress, and my hair was hung down. My heart skipped a beat whenever he was talking to me, but I don't know why, that I was the one he chose.
When I arrived at the ball, there was a commotion when I saw him with another woman, and that was his Luna. The ball was packed, and I didn't know that this is what it felt like to be part of the ball's higher ranks.
And after they walked to go on the stage, Axel was looking in my direction, as if looking into my soul, and I froze.
"We are gathered here to witness the untying ceremony of Rebecca and Axel Hugh." The Elders weren't sure of it but they were all gathered to witness the said event, and everyone was shocked and clueless about what was going on.
"Do you accept the removal of ties that bond you and Rebecca?"
"I accept the removal of ties," Axel said that shocking the crowd.
"No, this is outrageous, Axel!" The man who's always with him said, and then as I looked at Rebecca, who was crying and flashed a grin, which made me clueless.
"Are you sure you don't have any objections?" The Elder asked him again.
Rebecca flashed a grin and a joyous heart for being able to be free of the Alpha who was infertile.
"No objections, but I want to be tied with another Luna!" Axel said with full authority, and Rebecca's grin vanished.
Axel reached his hand in my direction. I don't know, but my feet acted on their own. I didn't move towards him because I could jump onto a higher rank. I moved towards where he was because my heart told me so.
"She's the one I want to be tied with," Axel said as he held onto my hand and smiled at me swiftly, but I could see in his eyes that he was in so much pain, and everyone was shocked, knowing that the maiden was unknown to them and would become their Luna.
I smiled back at Axel and bowed to those around us, acting naturally, but in the middle of that night, I was espoused by force with the Alpha.
